I love all the nuances of Dan’s vocals - the way he switches up his “power voice” with softer gentler nuances and his “metal ekements” to express emotion and emphasis in the words . No one does it like Dan!

So agree. I love his version of this song. It is a powerful and a more exciting version! As it should be giving the meaning of the song. Just the way he changes his tone intentionally on the words "peace" and "let all within us" was genius and gives it meaning..
I never thought I would be listening to metal music at the age of 66. Then he came in! I never thought there would be someone I could "support" after Bon Jovi! Super talent given by God! I hope I can listen to it "live" one day!

Yep, Dan can do it! A lot of people don’t like the growl, and I had problems with it for a while. I’ll be honest with you. But overall, it’s a beautiful song and Dan does it justice. Let’s not forget Victor the guitar nerd, he did an amazing job and playing in this song.
This is second only to My Heart Will Go On. I agree that Dan's true self is shining more and more. ❤

Thanks for playing this! It’s not my favorite of his Christmas songs (that’s Angels We Have Heard on High), but especially near the end, when he shifts up, his passion and gorgeous voice are phenomenal. Dan is always surprising - and I totally agree, many of my favorite Dan songs are these great metal arrangements of non-metal songs. I really love them, and his musical creativity really shines. I enjoyed your comments!
Dan is the master of interpretation, and with his wonderful and versatile voice, he constantly delivers unparalleled renditions of great songs.

Believe me, it’s not a slow sad song, Dan made it a epic head banger. I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed! @@Darkmage4 Sorry, I apparently was brain dead for awhile. I remember now, that’s the first time I saw you 😀. Just so you know, never judge Dan by the song or the band. He almost always powers up a song and makes it metal. There are several exceptions, when he likes the original, the artist or the band. In those cases, he keeps it close to the original. Thanks again for your reaction!
