Your facial reactions spoke volumes. Like you, I was blown away the first time I heard/saw him sing this song. He actually made a video of this many years ago and re-did it with this one. The original was pretty good but this was one is even better. Have you seen his version of The Star Spangled Banner, Metal Cover? It is awesome. If you do react to it, please be sure to react to the video he made after that, called My Apology, at the same time. He got a lot of hate for doing that song and he came back at it with that video. The shirt HAD been made available again, but then Represent sold out to Cameo, and Dan's store (along with some others) went down. A couple of months back, now, he said that he wants to get it running again, but he hadn't had the time. He does plan to, but we don't know when.
Thank you for another great Dan reaction. At 3:45 AM (CDT) on Tuesday, 05/07/2024, Dan's subs are at 997,716. Hopefully before the day is over, they will roll on over to 998K. Even if the next 2000 subs take more than two days, we should see that 1M figure pop up in no more than a week, and I suspect it will only be three or four more days at the most.

I agree, Dan pays homage and then goes above and beyond. Unfortunately the store he used was "bought" by another company and the new platform doesn't have the merch. He's working on getting another fulfillment avenue. Thanks for a very nice reaction, and I love that you let the videos play out. This is the first Dan Vasc song I ever heard and it rocked me to the core. Like you, I grew up with the Simon and Garfunkel version which I loved and was blown away with the Disturbed version. But Dan... there is just something about him - his incredible vocal talent, authenticity and the passion with which he sings, is totally mesmerizing. I never listened to any metal singers until Dan! Thanks for your honest and beautiful reaction and I look forward to hearing more from you. ❣

Love this version so damn much, yesss! Dan is an amazing chameleon able to do so many fantastic things. I did see Simon and Garfunkel in the ‘60’s twice and their music is something I will always cherish. They gave us Sounds of Silence and Dan breathed new life into it. Yes I’m fkn old but not dead yet♥️

Dan brought this song to the forefront with a punch. Can't even imagine a world without music. This song is very relevant now as it was evermore relevant during the vietnam war and the exposer of all the injustice thatbwas so prevalent during the 60s and 70s.
Thanks for your reaction. Disturbed's version is good but I like Dan's better. So intense and his grit does it for me. Dan's is doing something for his million but he hasn't said what it is yet. He has hinted about a lot of stuff but I don't if it will be single or his Manowar tribute album. Is also working on something with Eric July from Rippaverse. Everyone is waiting but you know is going to epic whatever it is. Thanks for your continued support of Dan and congrats to you as well. Keep up the good work and your rambling, give you depth and sincerity.

Great reaction, Jess. I like Dan's version better than Disturb's, too. Their's is still good, though. The original version is quite different and definitely iconic. It has a special place for me.
I believe Dan said he's doing Manowar cover & album for his 1 million subs celebration. He's so very close. Unfortunately, I understand he lost a very close friend last week, though. Celebration might be a bit hampered by having just experienced such a recent loss. Always wishing the best for Dan.
This is the first song that I ever heard by Dan, back on 9/15/20. I was blown away and immediately had to hear more. My second was Toss A Coin To Your Witcher, and that's when I100% knew it was the singer and not just the song that I was hooked on because I'd never heard the second song by anyone else before I heard it by Dan. Since then, I've listened to everything I could find by Dan and follow him on social media and watch him on the various livestreams he appears on. Excellent reaction!
Hi, for Dan reaching a million subs I would suggest Dan’s performance of A million Dreams, which he sang because it speaks to his goal to reach a million subs. If you already did react to it, maybe I want it all from Queen, a great performance by Dan too

that was literally a copy of the Disturbed version. He didn't make it his own and it wasn't as good as a result
