Going to the School of Realism this Fall for two weeks, taking two courses back to back. Also got Dru's Custom Micron Takumi airbrush with the "hair trigger" mod.

CS, I was down there a couple of years ago. I had a great experience. Dru and the staff were great and of course I learned a lot. I would like to visit again when life allows. Oh, and I bout my Micron Takumi with the soft spring and trigger from Dru when I was there. It's my favorite brush. Have a great time.

That kit would really teach you a lot! Even though not everyone would be painting eyes and lips, it sure trains you to learn the detail applications that can translate over to almost anything else. Thank you for sharing.

First of big thanks to for great channel.how do u utilize the du Blair color wheels ?is it developing in realistic?

It teaches you how to identify the color you are looking for. But first, you actually identify the color. What you think you are seeing may not be what the actual color is. The color theory shows you how to identify the actual color you are trying to match and then how to use the color wheel to match it. Hope this helps.

How do the kits work for people with various levels of existing airbrush skills? I assume that at least basic airbrush control is a prerequisite? For the in-person seminar, would I be correct in assuming students have varying levels of skills and experience coming in; do they all get a good balance of challenge and accomplishment?

The kits work at a pace that even a beginner can handle. That is the beauty of the video, you can go as fast or slow as you want and yes you need to have basic control of an airbrush. There is a Classroom in a box call "Foundations", this will give you the basic control. As far as the in person (going to the school) I was with some that really never airbrushed before, all the way to the most seasoned pro. Now, for the absolute beginner Dru offers a Classroom (mentioned above) in a box "Foundations" class. This is highly recommended before attending the 4 day class. And last, yes! Especially the beginner to intermediate student was amazed at their results. I think the seasoned pro liked tapping into Dru's approach and process. Hope this helps and thanks for the questions and thanks for watching.
