Great question - after about 15hr of track time in the car I now really prefer how the torque converter locks predictably in sport mode whereas sport+ it doesn’t lock when gently on/off throttle mid corner making the car harder to modulate grip on longer sweeping corners … the body dynamics are not really noticeably softer between modes… I think the roll is the same because the car tightens up the shocks automatically when it detects lateral g… the only downside is the dash doesn’t look as cool
Thank for sharing this video. Just curious if you've experienced any transmission overheating issues on tracks? I noticed that little orange light on the dashboard and wondered what it was.
Terrific questions - the dash light is an erroneous warning for tire pressure but I knew I had a bad sensor so I ignored it - trans temp is a problem at hot track days but I solved by installing the LC500 trans cooler that is stock on the Japan market version of the LC500
@LC500-Lexus thanks a lot for clarity. So how many continuous lap you are able to do now? Do you see high oil temp warning ever or hats not an issue after Installing trans cooler?
The interior of these cars is the type of stuff you'd expect to find on much fancier machines.
Great pov video, thanks for sharing!
WOW! I love this car so much! Absolutely a future classic. Long Live the V8!
Couldn't agree more!
Sounds amazing!
just asking outta curiosity, any reason for driving in sports mode instead of sports +? lovely video + driving btw!

@@LC500-Lexus Would you mind sharing the info on where you purchased the trans cooler for your LC? I've been wanting to do the same on mine.
@@67Roadracer I got it through the Lexus dealer… I’m planning to do a video about it including full parts list
@@LC500-Lexus thank you! I definitely want to see that
Would you mind sharing the info on where you purchased the trans cooler? I have been wanting to do this on my 18' LC. Nice driving!
I’m working on a video all about the project

@@LC500-Lexus So this video run is with trans cooler installed? Looks like oil is still going high in 8 mins of driving?
Yes with trans cooler… the trans temp isn’t visible on screen
I really hope Lexus decides to put transmission cooler on the 25 models, I believe they have it now, but only on the inspiration models
