I also use it to buy myself time as a teacher if I have a talk with parents . Like can you specify you question or tell me more. Then i can thinl about how to react
I think it's actually intimidating, like someone giving you a second chance at redeeming yourself after your stupid words before they tear you to shreds. Put it simply, it's alike to "Excuse me?" with sassyness. But very politely, which put the person in a more dignified and civilized position than their opponent.
When Yoongi was away for his shoulder surgery RM said “The press conferences were difficult because I didn’t have the intuitive and cool care that only you can provide”. That’s how deep the BTS bond is.
Hahaha in that first clip, after yoongi responds to the question he actually (being intentionally obvious) crosses out the reporters name. He lifted the paper as if to write something then just drew a line, all with a smirk on his face. People said this most likely meant the reporter wouldn’t be allowed to attend a bts event again, and probably any of hybe’s group’s events after that 😌
there is this amazing moment where someone is yelling things at them "you will lose all you fans" and Hoseok goes "thank you for being worried about us"
Yes but it's not on video. It was told by a reporter who was with them (intentionally, with permission, big music magazine) and saw it happen. The poor American sod (the harasser) was like "You'll lose all your American fans" How wrong he was! 😂😂💀
@miak4006 I remember watching it though. They were on the street, the reporter/paparazzi were yelling at then in English. They went on the bus and asked what was yelled. When told, JH laughed and said that. I got to see if I can find it.
I am still so happy Taehyung pulled out his phone against that disrespectful fan and served her her own medicine. I remember some people being in uproar about it, but if somebody does not respect your boundries, and you tellting them does not work - many times you showing them WILL work.
3 things I would like to mention here (04:30): - Namjoon showing once again how to be a good leader because he was ready to answer the question, but as soon as he listened to Yoongi's voice, he put down his mic and let him handle that. - Yoongi did a great job answering the malicious reporter. - We found out later that the reporter who asked that question was indeed paid by another agency to make those questions in order to create controversy.
I'm really glad for this reaction and seeing you again Glad it's about BTS - they are the best! There's an entire video by xCeleste (reputable) about harms done to them. It's not just fans in mobs which got really bad in 2022-23, or stupid comments. The Big Three agencies were horrible, the media twisted headlines, they were accused of plagiarism and chart manipulation, even now their songs aren't played on the radio because they "sing in Korean" - as if Dynamite and Seven weren't in English. Some was personal, J-Hope is ugly, Jimin is fat. One death threat caused a cancellation of a concert, another was to shoot Jimin on stage. Our guys are tough. RM writes lyrics & raps but yoongi REALLY lets them have - all the way back to an early song called Agust D. That name is his rage name. If you have seen the rap line's Cyphers or Mic Drop, they are all about haters of all kinds. ARMY is so strong because ARMY got defensive in a battlefield way to protect them. That's why we're so organized and ready and supportive. And that's why other fan groups hate ARMY. It's ugly. The hateful stuff is rising again. BTS goes away and everyone wants awards or whatever, but now BTS has six people (soon to be another) STILL taking those awards. Anyway, Jin will be home in 3 1/2 weeks, so we'll see some humor and good spirits! Please do more with BTS if you can find anything, maybe lyric analysis? Have you done Suchwitas? There are 21(?) episodes. Also Wooga Squad Staycation - V's other friendship group, major Korean actors.
namjoon taking notes at the conference is such a smart thing to do because not only is he taking notes for himself so can give a coherent answer, but it also intimidates the other interlocutors because you know he's not playing and i feel like you'd wonder what is he writing so much? what is he going to say.
Yes! RM for sure wrote three songs in that minute lol he seemed so angry and with good reason! Loved how Suga stepped up there calmly as if nothing but surely went home and wrote one of his cutthroat raps 😂
you are on point about Taehyung-he 💯knows himself and doesn’t take sht from anyone. he’s actually stood up for the others too: ruclips.net/user/shortsCZOSwQ2rIjk?si=sMdgF8GrUBF7mPPk
in jungkook weverse live era he was openly talking about the hate and crticism he recieved it was so satisfying , he also cursed at his stalkers waiting in front of his house in his last live stream before military lol armys were so happy about it 🤣
The clip of taehyung bringing his phone out has always been on of my favorites. For years, people have been getting away with invading idols' space and treating them like objects. It was refreshing to see such an outward response towards the disrespect taehyung was facing. He was on a solo vacation at that time if i remember correctly. But also, if you look closely youll see that his phone was open to the front camera so he didnt actually take any pictures of her :)
exactly he's so on point with that. I recently saw a short where this rude photographer was like "Put your hand down this is America" and Jk tried to smile through it and put his hand down but V did the namaste pose and left the line. RM looked proud lol. He was straight up like "Bye then" lol
I saw an interview where the host speculated that BTS got so much hate because they were proof that with talent, hard work and thinking outside the box these groups didn’t need to be in the Big 3 or use any of their media connections and that shook the industry to the bones, including western companies.
JK's (paraphrased) "Explain how Seven is dirty. It's not dirty, it's *explict*." was amazing. He was really deferential to ARMY in his early days on vlive, to have him be so firm, so clear this this was HIS song, with the lyrics HE chose to sing and to HIM it was explict, not dirty... was a hell of a thing.
i dont have much self control and grace like the Bangtan members. the hate they receive everyday is crazy! oftentimes when i get s*^t in life, i always think "what would namjoon or suga do ?" it really helps clear my mind.
I love how Namjoon perfectly respectfully asked for clarification, wording it in a way that would allow the reporter to walk it back. But when that man doubled down he let Yoongi hadle him.
Yoongi shut that reporter down so calmly. That issue was settled amicably by BigHit and the French artist. It's such a shame that some people get pleasure from denigrating others. There's room for everyone. We all have our preferences. I think BTS stand head and shoulders above everyone else but I'm happy that people have other artists they prefer. You mentioned that you thought that Jimin would be more affected by the haters and indeed there was a Live where hurtful remarks were being made on the chat and he was obviously upset and the others were fuming because of they way the haters were treating him. How anyone can hurt such a sweet person is beyond me. Thanks again, Max.
That clip from Indonesia, that boat crammed full of people, is there because fans rented that boat and spent the entire day following around another boat. It was the boat that the cast and crew were filming on, just to see Jin. Those Indonesian fans are crazy about Jin, and you're right, they don't see him as a person.
The crazy thing is that to haters nothing bts does is ever enough.. they didn’t have a daesang, they were hated on… they got 40 now.. as of that video, I’m pretty sure they have more now. But then they switched up.. well BTS can’t win a Grammy…and BTS is the only Korean act to EVER get nominated.. it’s just never enough for them.. any little thing they can nitpick at, they go for it.. such a shame
Well, have their favs ever even gotten nominated for a Grammy? No, they haven't. BTS got nominated for 5 Grammys in a rigged American-favoring competition. Let them just be jealous - they're just embarrassing themselves 😂💜 I feel bad for the groups that have fans like those. They work hard just to have petty fans that, instead of supporting them, spew hatred toward another group. It just shows how, for those fans, their favs achievements aren't enough so they need to put down others. Really sad and rude for the artists
@@kuroro9949 Agreed but it's not necessary to counter with comparisons by saying "Well does X have this achievement like this group does? No," since it's not those groups' fault some of their fans are immature like that, so no need to put other groups down. But otherwise yes.
@@GoldenWreck I think you missundertood my comment. I was not putting down other groups, just pointing out their hypocrisy and the absurdity of those claims. They're mocking their own groups with those remarks. Since they think it's a failure for BTS, then it's failure for all the other groups since they were the only ones to even get nominated for a Grammy. All groups have their own achievements and they should be celebrating those instead of attacking other groups - not only BTS - because they're embarrassing themselves (not their idols - the idols have no reason to feel embarrassed.) They all work really hard and deserve to be praised for their hard-work but those fans spend their energy attacking other groups instead
Ngl, it is honestly weird how quite a lot of ppl cannot handle the fact BTS is popular and doing well. They make it their entire life to obsessively hate on them. I'm recently getting into reddit, and I find it cringe that there are a couple reddit subs dedicated to just hating on BTS, but it even gets into unrelated subs too, to the point that ppl have to make posts to point out that BTS has nothing to do with the sub so stop always bringing them up.
I remember that first clip. You could say that they handled that question with grace because it only showed rm, jk and suga. It didn't show how jimin was devastated and heartbroken by the question. It was sad.
It's like he said, she had ussuesnifbher own. Some people just have to open their mouth and insert foot because they don't know what to say. i would have liked to tell her HOW ABOUT NOT SAYING ANYTHING SO YOU DON'T SHOW YOUR IGNORANCE. But Jin handled it with grace later. Its like the reporter/photographer who told JK to b put his hand down because he was in America. That was some BS! But Tae walked out taking the rest if the group with him, cutting the session short. He doesn't tolerate disrespect. I'm sure the other photographers were mad at her and her unnecessary ignorant remarks. LOVE BTS!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Seriously, male musical stars have been wearing makeup since before the members of BTS were even born. Anyone ever heard of David Bowie or Elton John? It's not like wearing make-up is anything new. And I doubt it was the guys idea to wear make-up in the first place - likely management and stylists - but either way - who cares? Doesn't make them any less talented!
@@maxpbeaumontUrgent- Please watch boracity recent documentary on "BTS rumors" and post it asap. Everyone, pls push this message.. We need to spread the real news as fast as possible
I love all of your reactions, very insightful and showcases your expertise as a comminication specialist. I can tell you really love the guys and will defend them. I've never heard this many F bombs from you😂 Thanks for your reaction! 💜
You can always count on BTS to shut people down. They don't take any shit and aren't afraid to call people out if necessary. You're right, their mental well-being comes first and also their safety. I wish people could actually see them as human beings. All of the stuff they've had to deal with makes me so sad
yeah yoongi knew EXACTLY what that journo was talking about, he just wanted to hear the man say it. fun fact that man turned out to be on the payroll of yg and snuck in to ask that as part of sabotage 9:17 the TSA thing was directed at kmedia. korean media not only hid every BTS achievement but didnt even report on their nomination. Jin held the TSA award because it forced kmedia to report on it
U can't compare the growth graph of one idol group with the other ( even among individuals) Exo got alot of recognition & awards at the beginning of their career whereas BTS got it a little later and still is going strong. Also Exo debuted from one of the largest entertainment companies in SK and BTS from a small non influential company.
There is always someone jealous and petty post success, BTS definitely worked their asses off and went through so much before their success! Folks should be so proud of them! This is a group of secure and well adjusted young men.
I appreciate your reactions to these different types of videos. How to handle negativity is an important part of communication that we often don't discuss!
There was guy (Spanish?) that copied a BTS song word for word note for note, then when he was called out he came up with the story that BTS copied him so that’s what that was all about.
I assume that it was the accusation from a French photograph that pretend Big Hit copied his work with the Wings concept… I have watched both, and there is no way… Both are present inv young boys… (yes, BTS are young boys…) looking like boy scouts… (it s their name and they constantly wear short trousers…)around a fire camp… and BTS were glazing at the sky like in the photograph concept… But there are so much differrences moreover… Thé photographer lost… It s just like those days : as soon as hyenas suppose there is a weakness, they attack in group… these haters are just cowards…
@@cynthiaperez2232 That is incorrect. Fake Love was on Love Yourself:Tear in 2018. The question was related to Blood, Sweat and Tears on the Wings album in 2016.
I love how when people react to videos like this, the reactors get so offended on the behalf of bts, it's so sweet to see.. That's what tells me that they're now an ARMY themselves.
This makes me sad because BTS being themselves are considerate and respectful of Army. They deserve more consideration. IT'S NOT impossible to control ourself. All it requires is thoughtful and loving behavior.
So this video is kind of old and BTS have a lot more Daesangs lol… A couple more moments that aren’t in this video: -Suga during like a radio show/interview for DDay someone commented abt Bighit not spending enough money on something and Suga told them (anyone who is saying such things) to go away and that he knows how much they are spending (bc a large portion is his one money not that he says this part) -BTS were going to film something in USA and a racist reporter so something started yelling at them says stuff like they are going to loose fans etc. they got into the fan but Jhope later asked when he was saying and then said to tell the man “thank you for worring abt us”. -Ppl kept calling ARMY bots (still do) and a reporter was asking them like something like abt what their plans are and RM said, “we can’t wait to perform with the the ARMYs, actual ppl, not bots not AI”… -Jungkook got a lot of hate for 3D and in his live stream ppl weren’t sending him nice messages abt it but he basically said he can’t please everyone & that is he a grown man he can make whatever music he wants. He only want ppl here that will support him. These are just some that came into my head lol
This is a better example of them standing up for themselves. The infamous radio show when BTS was still young/new, where some Korean rappers insulted RM and Suga to their faces and called them posers for rapping in an idol group and dancing, and said they looked like girls for wearing makeup. You really see how much self-control and class our boys have by the way they handled it. ruclips.net/video/evfNBEeChek/видео.htmlsi=jYEb1vJlXMAKWI71
BTS challenged the haters world view. As industry outsiders they were not supposed to succeed in their early days they were not allowed the same opportunities as other new groups. Their management and BTS did not behave the way idols were supposed to behave. They were goofy, silly, yet they still succeeded. When they won in the early years it did not seem it could be possible so corruption was suspected. As every wrong assumption was challenged and success led to success they seemed to be taking all the awards, getting all the best sponsorships. Taking success away from their favourites and these attitudes were encouraged by the rival companies whose income stream was affected. At one point BTS represented slightly more than 50% of total kpop market share. Nobody could understand it because in their mindset and world view what BTS did should not be possible.
You know, here's the thing about 'winning' awards. Adam Lambert didn't win a thing on American Idol. Who was that guy that won that year? Yeah, hardly anyone else remembers, either.
There have been occasions where the title of the video would have been more appropriate. Yoongi did something similar to Tae, filming the people around him, but he did it so that the company could later sue the ones harassing Yoongi. One lady one time called Jungkook by a name that implied he was older than her and in a romantic sense and he immediately denied that it. If you haven't seen them, there are a series of videos called "Karma is an ARMY" that showcases times when haters were dragging BTS for not accomplishing something or saying that they would never accomplish it, and then BTS turned around and proved them wrong.
I feel like the video you're reacting to is a bit outdated as of today, because 2023 really showed us how they've grown as people in the spotlight. Their reaction to disrespectful comments have become more sophisticated, it's like they're more confident and sure of themselves, and are not afraid to stand up for their art and what they believe in. Especially Jungkook and Namjoon. Jungkook in particular has shown immense growth during seven/golden's release whenever he was asked about his change to a more mature concept. I feel like it's worth looking more into because I've been an army for around six years and some of their responses have really surprised me, but have me feeling very proud of them as well :)
I don't remember his profession - maybe he is a korean journalist or even communication coach like you, but he said that BTS (a idol group) taking notes like they are is very unique.
About that first clip at the press conference, in my opinion yoongi is asking for clarification because he wants to make the reporter say exactly what they mean and namjoon saying "you're asking about our inspirations for WINGS" feels like him giving the reporter a chance to back down and change their question either way they handled it very professionnally, not taking the bait was obviously the smartest thing to do
I met one of my favorite actors once and got to have a conversation with him. Realized after that I completely forgot to introduce myself. I just felt like I knew him so well already.
Your are right the reporter works for another Kpop company and is indeed trying to stir them up hoping to get a bad reaction in front of other reporters in order to take away from their promotions and make BTS members 'look bad'. The funny thing was the French Artist was a BTS fan and said there was no plagaism after BigHit contacted him. So the whole thing fell flat for that 'Reporter' trying to stir things up.
That journalist vague question, and his hesitancy to ask a simple question, makes me believe he had already been paid and later found out what question he must ask in a global press conference, exposing himself as the party pooper of the year
I think it was at one of those airport situations, the Airport Security made an announcement over the loudspeaker that, "BTS member Kim Soekjin, concerned for the Army's safety, has left through a separate entrance." He's so professional, the announcement didn't mention anything about his own safety.
Namjoon and Yoongi REGULARLY used haters' comments as fuel. cf: the lyrics of Cyphers (ESPECIALLY Cypher 4: "I'll be the drum, just hit me hard... / ...You hate me but YOU KNOW ME / I like hate comments more than no comments / I don’t know you BUT YOU KNOW MY NAME"), Ddaeng, Mic Drop, Agust D (the song), and Joke. Yoongi even called Daechwita "a honey trap for haters." In 2013, RM appeared on RM's "4 Things" show. The handed him a tablet and asked him to read the contents aloud and comment on them. They were all hate letters directed at him. He read them all aloud, looked up from the tablet, worked his jaw for a moment, stared directly into the camera, and said, "I will prove it to you all." (You can see the clip at the beginning of this: ruclips.net/video/eTLU2XfUTrM/видео.html )
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Never saw this video. But good summary of events. BTS always responds well. They classy and funny. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
Actually back then they were very careful what they did and what they said. Not so much now. In the recent years members have called out fans more directly and did it forcefully but maintained professionalism. V calling out fans about his relationships.. his accusations of racism towards blacks because of something he wore. Jk . Putting it straight that he’s an adult not a child and can drink and smoke. Also putting fans in their place about sexual lyrics in seven. Again he said he’s an adult and they were welcomed not to listen. Rm. calling out fans for music he listened to and objecting. He made it clear that army has changed and he has the right to listen to any music he wanted. Suga… I don’t need to list his. He is straightforward and doesn’t care if he hurts feelings. Jimin is different. Jimin I believe receives the most hate than any other member. There’s not one specific reason. Called “pigmin”. Bullied constantly. He of course being jimin doesn’t address it and takes it. Jhope and Jin? Not much that they have had to deal with . I think now that they have become comfortable in who they are as adults and in their beliefs they address things differently without the company statements.
Lol, ironical she didn't think her actions will cause the idol in question emotional distress, 😂😂😂V gave her the same energy she was giving and she couldn't take it.
@10:39 Yeah, age isn't an excuse for behaving like that. They apologised for what they did the time before, showing that they knew what they did was wrong, and then within seconds done the exact same thing again. That's not okay, no matter what the age. Don't make excuses for toxic fans, no matter what fandom they're in; and I'm saying this as an Army myself.
I remember seeing some videos a year or so back, talking about Tae Tae not waving to fans and whatever before getting into his vehicle. It was " OMG HE HAS CHANGED!" You know, he probably has, but this instance was not indicative of that or anything else. I'd like to be clear here. No, I am not Korean, so I suppose some things may be different than here in the States, and I am also 53 and so older than many of other ARMY. That being said, BTS collectively or each member only owes fans two things. To record the best music they can and to perform as best they can. They don't owe you their smiles, their autographs, their time outside of what it takes to do those two things or anything else. They dont owe us details of their lives or access to their private selves. They do not owe any of us anything. Sure, you can argue that good engagement is a necessity of this life, and that is true to some extent. But not everything nor all the time. They make an album not up to snuff, you can give that a critical review. They perform sloppy, and you have every right to be critical of that. You can show that displeasure by that and by not buying their next song or seeing their next show. They do not owe us One. Damn. Thing. Nothing besides that which was aforementioned. How many of us have had a bad day, maybe don't feel like talking? Can you imagine being there, swamped everywhere you go, people grabbing at you, yelling, and then being pissed because you just wanted to go home? I have never seen any BTS members being rude to a fan. In fact, they are inordinarily generous with themselves for us. I thank them for that. But they do not owe it to me or anyone else. I love BTS because (thanks to my daughter singing their praises for years, and I finally got my head outta my arse) when I finally actually gave them a chance, I saw how hard working they were. How talented and real they seemed. But mostly that hard word, for young men who typically would just be chilling and gaming or whatever. They worked harder than I ever have, and they deserve our respect for that regardless of how we might feel about their music. This typically is not where my musical taste gravitate. I am a blues rock and metal fan but with enough other music likes that I now love them. They are kind, great singers, dancers and performers. Mostly, though, they really seem like great HUMAN BEINGS. I don't give a shit if they wear makeup, color their hair, are Korean or anything else because that is nothing more than window dressing. They are hard-working, respectful, and kind young men so nothing else is of consequence. I can not state how proud I am to consider myself ARMY. For those of you that do not like BTS. You don't have to like their music, their performances, their looks....whatever. You damn sure, though, should respect them and have some grace regarding them. It's being a good human, and someday, you just may need a bit of grace yourself.
The Beatles were mobbed like this. I have noticed that one of the BTS concerts. It reminded me of when the Beatles played, and you couldn’t hear their singing over the top of the screaming.
I remember that when V was caught smoking, bc in Korea it is considered bad, there was a hater in one of the concerts with a sign " No smoking" something like that, and V was pretending to smoking on purpose on the stage, with a lollipop. That is also an example that he cannot take these stuff. He is free to do whatever he wants. People believe that Bts belong to the us. No, they are human beings.
During their 2018 speech when they spoke about disbandment kills me. But one of the reasons they did consider it was because of how bad the cyber bullying has been. Its always been terrible.
BTS and ARMY were the most hated group/fandom for a good while there. Before BTS got big, BTS and ARMY were bullied and disrespected in every corner of the world. In the industry, between fandoms, in real life, on shows, etc. I like to compare it to when a conventionally pretty girl is being bullied and talked down on by other girls because they are jealous. Before BTS got big, they still had an organized and dedicated fandom/ARMY. And their style, songs, and even just their name were different and stood for something. It had meaning and depth, and people love pushing people with a message down no matter if what they are saying is good or bad. They just start hating before they even take the time to listen because they don't want to hear it. Judging them, looking down on them. And when their message does actually resonate with people and BTS grow big, other groups copy it, and their fandoms attack ARMY(some more than others, and not everyone of course). And when BTS became huge, they broke into a whole new market (the American and global one) and they once again became the odd ones out. Literally climbing from the bottom up. They paved the way, and achieved never-before records, and climbed higher than anyone. Many groups have tried following BTS's path, or gratefully used the path BTS made. ARMY worked hard to give them such opportunities and spread BTS music as well, things certain other fandoms have tried to do and failed but refuse to admit. Just the amount of hate BTS got is honestly unusual, but I think it made them stronger as it 1000% drove them(as a group) to prove everyone wrong. They had such fire in their eyes that left certain members when they did prove everyone wrong and they faced new hardships only the has experienced. Not a bad thing, but you can see their motivation used to be different.
As someone who was in this fandom since 2018 till now. I wouldn't necesserally call army a happy fandom. It just seems that some have turned in the same haters BTS had/has. Especially with the arguments about having trophies and such. But the larger the fandom gets the more hateful people will be there 🤷♀️ This is not to be greedy or something. It is just rather saddening. How more toxic a fandom can become. It was always there but I never had the perspective of an outsider or other fandom before, so I didn't see it as much. I hope to see more respectful ARMYs. Recently it was pretty bad by them accusing alot of different groups and their members of "copying" BTS and the members. But it us always fun to return to my ARMY friends who haven't really changed. ^-^
Most of the negativity towards BTS comes from other kpop group stans so it definitely comes from jealousy and insecurities. Since the past few years , they are getting a lot of hatred from fans of western artists too after they started getting bigger in the west and breaking world records held by western artists. And some more negativity comes with racism and xenophobia. And sometimes people just hate on someone they are not familiar with without even giving them a chance with an open mind.
There's a clip of a very young Namjoon reading 'hate' comments & comments saying Bangtan won't be successful . His response is mature beyond his years with a simple "I'll prove it to you..". I do think there are some cultural factors at play with not only Bangtans responses ( particularly Yoongi ) that could be explored further. The Indonesia clips are a case in point I think, as is Yoongis response to the reporter asking about plagiarism. The whole concept of things like parakin fans, saesangs & fans who overstep the mark seem inevitable when we are privileged to see so much of Bangtan, not just their music. As for Jin, that man is savage, good for him
The thing about that global press conference is it’s about promoting their new album Map of the Soul: Persona which was in 2019. That journalist was bringing up a topic about their album from 2016. They have released three more albums since and a fourth with MOTS: Persona. So that question was out of place and rude when they are there to talk about the new album.
"Standing up for yourself" is not something that's found in KPOP culture but there are reasons for that that go back decades to the beginnings of Kpop. Being an Idol is only now, in this last few years, been more about the performer than the "ideal performer", hence the term, "Idol". This was a relationship fostered by Idols, Companies, and Fans - the Idol is the Dream and they needed - and still need to - be seen as near-perfect. There is a psychology to the culture of Idols and Fandoms and an Idol who opposes the wants of the fans have been seen ungrateful. They are slowly getting out of this mindset (I honestly feel BTS has been instrumental in this shift) but don't be so hard on them; there is a genuine fear to losing your fans by arguing a point and standing up for yourself, even if you're completely correct for doing it. Give the industry time to adjust as well as the credit for wanting to adjust.
When it comes to the girls just shoving their phones in Jin's face, that's delulu pro max. At the fan meeting he held a few days after he came home from the military, two girls had the audacity to kiss him. But the girl who kissed his neck actually got some real karma. She got her butt put in jail for sexual assault. And I don't know if it's true but it's been said that her parents disowned her. Wouldn't surprise me tho. Besides, since she has a criminal record now, finding a job will be very difficult because a lot of companies don't want to hire people with criminal records. Like, what did she think was gonna happen? This isn't Wattpad. Also, I may be delulu too but I know my limits.
Fame comes with a lot of hate too, honestly I think you're right about the hate being a lot towards army, we are a huge community, really loyal to bts, we are really proud of them & often kinda brag about their success, I think this makes some people really mad & they just wanna break our happiness & they're just jealous honestly haha. But in the end, anyone who hates on bts, just looks goofy, like Bts will always proves to those haters that they're the most popular group for a good reason & that nothing will bring them down. It's just embarrassing to hate on Bts😂
I always though Yoongi made him clarify the question not because they didn't understand it but because he wanted to make him actually say it.
That is so Yoongi of him😂
or giving him a chance to change that question 😆

Hahaha in that first clip, after yoongi responds to the question he actually (being intentionally obvious) crosses out the reporters name. I loved how he did that!😂
Deserved. He was writing for another entertainment company according to xCeleste's BTS Hardships 2013-2021 video.
Oh I was wondering what he was doing. I didn't know that he was crossing out the reporter's name then holds it up 😂 That's our savage king
Sometimes, subtle is the best weapon.
"RM' already write 3 songs" WOWW this is so accurate 😂😂😂
Cypher #4 ! 😅
RM wrote 215 songs or something now 😀
He's credited for 215 songs is a better way to say it.
Fr..😂😂😂
there is this amazing moment where someone is yelling things at them "you will lose all you fans" and Hoseok goes "thank you for being worried about us"
Yes but it's not on video. It was told by a reporter who was with them (intentionally, with permission, big music magazine) and saw it happen. The poor American sod (the harasser) was like "You'll lose all your American fans" How wrong he was! 😂😂💀
Lolll😂😂😂
@miak4006 I remember watching it though. They were on the street, the reporter/paparazzi were yelling at then in English. They went on the bus and asked what was yelled. When told, JH laughed and said that.
I got to see if I can find it.
I am still so happy Taehyung pulled out his phone against that disrespectful fan and served her her own medicine.
I remember some people being in uproar about it, but if somebody does not respect your boundries, and you tellting them does not work - many times you showing them WILL work.
Didn't it also get used in a court case against the woman along with the CCTV footage supplied by the venue?
and his camera was on selfie mode. he didnt invades anyone's privacy. he just defended himself
3 things I would like to mention here (04:30):
- Namjoon showing once again how to be a good leader because he was ready to answer the question, but as soon as he listened to Yoongi's voice, he put down his mic and let him handle that.
- Yoongi did a great job answering the malicious reporter.
- We found out later that the reporter who asked that question was indeed paid by another agency to make those questions in order to create controversy.
yes
Yes, because it was a press conference attended by many foreign journalists. So he was trying to portray BTS in a bad way in front of them.
bts now has 70 daesangs😩😭
Insane
Actually 74
@@hemaarmy334 thanks for letting me know
namjoon taking notes at the conference is such a smart thing to do because not only is he taking notes for himself so can give a coherent answer, but it also intimidates the other interlocutors because you know he's not playing and i feel like you'd wonder what is he writing so much? what is he going to say.
And the best part was when Yoongi finished he crossed off something on his paper. Check that dumb question off the list.
Yes! RM for sure wrote three songs in that minute lol he seemed so angry and with good reason! Loved how Suga stepped up there calmly as if nothing but surely went home and wrote one of his cutthroat raps 😂
Seokjin is the king of savage responses 😂
😊yes and he should
Hell yeah..😂
KING 👏🏼 less than 1 month guys 🥹
you are on point about Taehyung-he 💯knows himself and doesn’t take sht from anyone. he’s actually stood up for the others too: ruclips.net/user/shortsCZOSwQ2rIjk?si=sMdgF8GrUBF7mPPk
Funny at the same time as being savage. And then there's yoongi, completely and totally savage.
in jungkook weverse live era he was openly talking about the hate and crticism he recieved it was so satisfying , he also cursed at his stalkers waiting in front of his house in his last live stream before military lol armys were so happy about it 🤣
The clip of taehyung bringing his phone out has always been on of my favorites.
I feel the same way! It's a shame he got so much backlash for it though 💀
"V is the guy in the group who is like the least likely to take shit." I COULDN'T DEFINE HIM BETTER lmao
exactly he's so on point with that.
Jin, Suga, and JK have done their share of setting people straight on Vlives. :)
Even V and RM as well
JK's (paraphrased) "Explain how Seven is dirty. It's not dirty, it's *explict*." was amazing. He was really deferential to ARMY in his early days on vlive, to have him be so firm, so clear this this was HIS song, with the lyrics HE chose to sing and to HIM it was explict, not dirty... was a hell of a thing.
@@Melesse636 or when he said im drunk so what then
"RM deconstructing his entire existence" had me floored !!! Max, you're so on point.
i dont have much self control and grace like the Bangtan members. the hate they receive everyday is crazy! oftentimes when i get s*^t in life, i always think "what would namjoon or suga do ?" it really helps clear my mind.
I love how Namjoon perfectly respectfully asked for clarification, wording it in a way that would allow the reporter to walk it back. But when that man doubled down he let Yoongi hadle him.
Exactly. He gave the reporter the benefit of the doubt.
*When u said RM was writing a whole azz thesis and 3 songs ahahaha 🤣🫶🏼*
As soon as RM heard Yoongis voice he put his mic down and let his Hyung handle it
" i think people see Army is happy so it bothers them " max speaking facts !!!
That clip from Indonesia, that boat crammed full of people, is there because fans rented that boat and spent the entire day following around another boat. It was the boat that the cast and crew were filming on, just to see Jin. Those Indonesian fans are crazy about Jin, and you're right, they don't see him as a person.
I love Jungkook's reaction to the first one. His scoff says it all!
Let them just be jealous - they're just embarrassing themselves 😂💜
I feel bad for the groups that have fans like those.
@@kuroro9949 Glad you clarified. I'm on board with that.
You just told me you're an ARMY without telling me you're an ARMY 💜💯
I remember that first clip. You could say that they handled that question with grace because it only showed rm, jk and suga. It didn't show how jimin was devastated and heartbroken by the question. It was sad.
😂When Taehyung pulling out his phone and recording that fan was so savage
Stalker she was a Stalker
The make up issue makes me laugh .. what they don’t think big stars from the west wear makeup at photo shoots on tv interviews or dye their hair 😂🤣😂🤣
Issues of her own. Sorry for the spelling earlier.
The situation with Jin could have turned dangerous and not only to him.
them chanting we're sorry just to mob him again was infuriating
@@itamongush3076 I completely agree.

Appreciate the nice comment 💜 haha yeah I was letting them fly the other day 😂
I noticed that too. I don’t remember you swearing like that in your earlier reactions.
You can always count on BTS to shut people down. They don't take any shit and aren't afraid to call people out if necessary. You're right, their mental well-being comes first and also their safety. I wish people could actually see them as human beings. All of the stuff they've had to deal with makes me so sad
Max, you’re awesome! You balance the analysis so well without being biased even though you’re a total army. Loved it. RM did write diss tracks 😂.
yeah yoongi knew EXACTLY what that journo was talking about, he just wanted to hear the man say it. fun fact that man turned out to be on the payroll of yg and snuck in to ask that as part of sabotage
9:17 the TSA thing was directed at kmedia. korean media not only hid every BTS achievement but didnt even report on their nomination.
RM's already written like 3 songs"
Me:Listen To the cyphers by the rap line they're going off on the haters 😂
He did listen to most BTS songs, he has a Patreon with a large portion dedicated to BTS
I love the way BTS use their songs to slap their haters...

Yes ur right V is the sweetest but he won't take anyone's shit. He keeps his pride and self boundary above anyone nd anything
Trust me don't even think about disrespecting RM in front of Taehyung.
I appreciate your reactions to these different types of videos. How to handle negativity is an important part of communication that we often don't discuss!
There was guy (Spanish?) that copied a BTS song word for word note for note, then when he was called out he came up with the story that BTS copied him so that’s what that was all about.
Italian guy as I recall: Fake Love
@@cynthiaperez2232yes
I assume that it was the accusation from a French photograph that pretend Big Hit copied his work with the Wings concept…
I have watched both, and there is no way… Both are present inv young boys… (yes, BTS are young boys…) looking like boy scouts… (it s their name and they constantly wear short trousers…)around a fire camp… and BTS were glazing at the sky like in the photograph concept… But there are so much differrences moreover… Thé photographer lost…
It s just like those days : as soon as hyenas suppose there is a weakness, they attack in group… these haters are just cowards…
@@cynthiaperez2232 yes
@@cynthiaperez2232 That is incorrect. Fake Love was on Love Yourself:Tear in 2018. The question was related to Blood, Sweat and Tears on the Wings album in 2016.
This reaction was so good! I feel like you genuinely ride for them.
I love how when people react to videos like this, the reactors get so offended on the behalf of bts, it's so sweet to see.. That's what tells me that they're now an ARMY themselves.
the conference was for persona album release in 2019 and the reported dared to use that time to ask about a 2016 song plagiarism "issue"
This makes me sad because BTS being themselves are considerate and respectful of Army. They deserve more consideration. IT'S NOT impossible to control ourself. All it requires is thoughtful and loving behavior.
And unfortunately, too many fans think they OWN the singers/actors. Which is INSANE.
Nothing can phase you when you know your enemy and their true motive. You stay calm in all situations💜.
So this video is kind of old and BTS have a lot more Daesangs lol…
A couple more moments that aren’t in this video:
-Suga during like a radio show/interview for DDay someone commented abt Bighit not spending enough money on something and Suga told them (anyone who is saying such things) to go away and that he knows how much they are spending (bc a large portion is his one money not that he says this part)
-BTS were going to film something in USA and a racist reporter so something started yelling at them says stuff like they are going to loose fans etc. they got into the fan but Jhope later asked when he was saying and then said to tell the man “thank you for worring abt us”.
-Ppl kept calling ARMY bots (still do) and a reporter was asking them like something like abt what their plans are and RM said, “we can’t wait to perform with the the ARMYs, actual ppl, not bots not AI”…
-Jungkook got a lot of hate for 3D and in his live stream ppl weren’t sending him nice messages abt it but he basically said he can’t please everyone & that is he a grown man he can make whatever music he wants. He only want ppl here that will support him.
These are just some that came into my head lol
I simply loved your outlook on the group and situations. Congrats!❤
And they were just 19, 20 yrs themselves at that time....Bravo guys!
Always enjoy your reactions. BTS proved they really are in a vlass of their own! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I need to learn from Yoongi, to stay calm when someone is aggravating❤
Oh I love your commentary! Perfect
About that first clip at the press conference, in my opinion yoongi is asking for clarification because he wants to make the reporter say exactly what they mean
and namjoon saying "you're asking about our inspirations for WINGS" feels like him giving the reporter a chance to back down and change their question
either way they handled it very professionnally, not taking the bait was obviously the smartest thing to do
Thank you so much for this, Max! We always appreciate your analyses.
I hope you are well! 💜
I met one of my favorite actors once and got to have a conversation with him. Realized after that I completely forgot to introduce myself. I just felt like I knew him so well already.
kevin acting like he is moving in when he is just visiting is meeee asf LMAOO I LOVE HIM!
Yoongi in my opinion is super smart and can put someone in their place easily!
Yeah! They are Elegance wrapped up in a hunk❤
Yoongi even called Daechwita "a honey trap for haters."
In 2013, RM appeared on RM's "4 Things" show.

You’ve absolutely nailed it 💜💜💜💝💝💝🌹🌹🌹
Actually back then they were very careful what they did and what they said.
5:49 if I recall that person harassing him at the airport complained later that it caused her emotional distress when he did film back at her.
@@gaileth8761 brillant
This! - RM’s probably written 3 songs in response to this reporter! Oof! 😂
RM writing diss tracks, while JK coming up with fierce choreo to run by JHope, knowing Yoongi will spit bars presently. 😂😂😂
Im Gen X and i truly appreciate you for this . Im all for boundaries & assertive communication. 🙏🕊️👑
The Beatles were mobbed like this. I have noticed that one of the BTS concerts. It reminded me of when the Beatles played, and you couldn’t hear their singing over the top of the screaming.
Members hit back with songs and and all the haters know that they are talking about them.
I remember watching your first reactions to BTS material, positive but asking for advice from Army... now you're more Army than Army! 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏💜
I'm not saying that your Army shows but your Army shows😂😂❤❤❤💪🏼
BTS and ARMY were the most hated group/fandom for a good while there.
My headcannon is that rm is actually getting material to write the next cypher.
Would be fascinating for you to react to CEO Min Hee Jin’s press conference ( Ador vs HYBE conflict).
Yes!
As someone who was in this fandom since 2018 till now. I wouldn't necesserally call army a happy fandom.
It just seems that some have turned in the same haters BTS had/has. Especially with the arguments about having trophies and such.
But the larger the fandom gets the more hateful people will be there 🤷♀️
This is not to be greedy or something.
You're right about V. He's a sweetheart but he's no one's doormat. I admire that about him so much.
2:08 Lmao I feel like I heard you curse for the first time which is kinda unexpected and surprising. But it's funny at the same time!
I think you're right about the haters fuelling some of them. Look at the lyrics of We On and it'll tell you all you need to know. 😏💜
This reminds me of an episode of Star track when captain Kirk was silent and let Spook talk and Kirk listen and took note.
