V tends to think outside the box when they play game and solve puzzles on their shows. He always has a completely different perspective and different answer than the others. In some shows, he definitely shows some characteristics of ADHD, not assuming, just an observation. He is an amazing performer and I think his thoughts run deep. For something fun to watch on your own, Spring Day Lovely Version Dance Practice - V cant stop laughing while dancing.
I think it is impossible to get a glimpse of what kind of person V is just by watching a few videos if you didnt see how he was before (no offense). I think you might need to watch more to get a glimpse of what kind of person he is, especially the older videos. That way, it would be easier for you to get a glimpse of what and how he is as a whole. He is very versatile. Unlike other members you will get a glimpse of what kind of person they are by watching few vids. Also, as what other army said he has gotten so much quieter these last few years or months. But when when he was younger, he was one of the loud and talkative members. He used to be so expressive with what he wanted as well as his ideas and suggestions for the team and their performances or even games. But one thing I'm sure of is that he is a very deep person. I relate to him the most. But I'm looking forward to you getting to know more about him and the other members as well.
I would definitely agree with this, he is a unique one, and he's my bias. The getting to know him part, for me, was incredibly fun as he shows sides of him in bits and pieces that one would miss if one wasn't that aware. And with Jimin being a trainedperformer, he definitely embodies the composure native to these professionals! I don't know if you know this but RM has mentioned several times that j-Hope is like the second leader of the group and in this clip he certainly acknowledges the weight of this event for RM and for the entire group. Jin, as always, keeping the mood light as ever, and Yoongi/Suga, poking fun at RM yet still with admiration of his speech. JK always has this genuinely curious and grateful manner to him that easily endears him to anyone who watches him.
He is indeed. He's not the kind of person you can sum up in a word or two. I've been a fan of bts since 2016 and it's been interesting to see how he's matured over that time
Armys have this joke that this seems to be Jungkook’s first life. Meaning that he is so appreciative and fascinated and absorbent of everything he experiences. Where some people come across as “old souls” he reads as a very new one.
I've never heard anyone express this in this way before, so I appreciate your comment- and I totally agree. 💜

@@jerseybultaoreune6107 we talk about it on twitter all the time, there are threads upon threads of moments where jungkook seems to be just so.. appreciative of life and always learning new things. like those moments where he speaks and apologizes to inanimate objects or animals for example, he is too endearing.
as for V when he was younger he was actually very talkative in their interviews but now as he is getting older and maturing he has definitely gotten more quiet
but sometimes he comeback to his old self and it's sooooo cute 😆

A lot is said about RM's intelligence, but not as much attention is given to his emotional intelligence, which makes him an empathetic and effective leader. Thank you for speaking on that.
To be honest, I think he has an amazing combination of IQ and EQ. Like someone like me who has high EQ but not necessarily as high IQ, there's just so much he picks up on, and so much he handles so well, especially with interpersonal relationships (I'm constantly reminded of how someone mentioned, that during their trainee days, whereas in any other company the trainees would consider themselves in competition with e/other, he said something like 'we don't know who's going to be in the final group, it could be that even I don't end up debuting, but it's really important to remember that at the end of the day teamwork is going to be the reason we debut.' Like, that's some incredible initiative.

RMs emotional intelligence is one of the first things I noticed about him and I feel it’s been such a massive blessing to them in weathering all the storms they have been though together and growing up as well as they all have. They have had some really fantastic adults around them too, but their group leader is the best there is.
V is really unique, his personality and way of thinking are really special. He used to be more talkative but now I feel like he's more reserved. He loves to tell jokes out of nowhere and then stay with a straight face 😅
He is playing with words even in English. Once he mentioned that he wants to write a book for children. I hope he will do that, because he is very talented.
V IS quiet, but he's still a social butterfly. he has a reputation for making friends from all walks of life, too easily.

yes V doesn't tend to really care about official settings or being in a leader position in official settings but he's definitely not shy to put out his ideas when it comes to being creative. His creativity and unique, confident sense of self is definitely the hallmark of his character and his role within their group dynamic I think. also he's one of the babies of the group lol
And the rest of them rarely tell him no, lol... they'll just let him do what he wants, like with their recent interior design Run BTS 😆
Yeah V's a weird character but that's why he is my bias 😂 I guess you could say he is quiet but he will sometimes become really hyper when its just him and the guys or when he talks about something he is passionate about...He is also supppper funny He will crack a joke but have the most serious look on his face that makes it even funnier 😂😂

Oh my gosh, V says the most outrageous things in interviews without so much as blinking or cracking a smile and it's hilaaaaaaaaaarious. You never know what's going to come out of his mouth.

Yeah his personality is really sporadic so it might be hard to figure him out by just watching a few videos. I feel like a lot of people think he’s the quiet introverted type when they first discover bts which is quite different from the truth

Jin is the 'mood-maker' of the group. He's great at ice-breaking when the guys enter a new situation or meet new people. Even though all of them are really loud and chaotic with each other, they get shy with new people. Jin always helps them overcome this by breaking the ice, joking about something so that the guys are more relaxed and can enjoy themselves and react more openly
i would say it is jin and j-hope too who do the ice breaking

jin is extremely smart and witty, he always know whats the right thing to say and when its the right time, and make the band comfortable in new environments, the boys know they can leave it to jin to make things work :)

Jungkook indeed has a lot of love for RM. He decided to join Bighit because of how much he admired RM and his rapping, even though he got offers from a dozen other prestigious companies. He chose the small company and trusted in the group
And stayed because of jin
I love how much he loves Suga, I appreciate that. I think Suga gets overlooked a lot compared to the maknae line which is such a shame. He really is such a wise sincere man and can heal with his words!
I think the whole hyung line gets overlooked by the maknae line lol but Suga is actually the 4th most popular member (so the most "popular hyung") so I am sure he's fine lol

We always joke about how jongkook is living his first life because he always seems so amazed about everything even simple every day things. V is definitely a free spirit, he’s always the one with the least regard for “rules” he tend to go with the feeling that means he is sometimes really hyper and sometimes pretty calm and quiet. Jimin, the guys themselves said that he feels like the most grown up of all them sometimes I remembered that when you kept mentioning his composure, also it could be that he is classically trained dancer so he always seems really aware of his posture and presentation
Yes but Max needs to watch at least one montage of Jimin’s relationship with chairs and stools to get the full picture. 😂🥰💜 Jimin floats in his own space so well that it’s always a surprise to see him crash into the earth every so often.

I love the way you described V. That’s so accurate
Yeah I think V and Jungkook are the members who are very focused on the tiny little details of things. Both are very visually stimulated and appreciates what the present brings to them. It's maybe why the two of them enjoy photography so much, they love being able to capture the little details of the moment. And their photography kind of reflects their personalities too.
Jungkook is more concrete, focusing on the real things, and cares a lot about how good the picture turns out. He wants to capture what he's seeing in the best way possible.
As for V, he's less focused on the reality of it all, and strives more for the emotions to be captured. Like, his photography isn't technically the best and he doesn't seem to care about that, for his focus is on capturing what he feels at the moment rather than what he sees.
And I think both Tae and Jk are easy going but in different ways. Jk's more adventurous, curious, wanting to explore all the many things out there. Tae seems to enjoy the simplicity of things more than their grandeur, like doing something as simple as playing golf with his dad and just relishing in that very conventional moment.
I recommend watching their 2018 FESTA dinner party on Bangtan Subs. Thank you for reacting to BTS once again. You always have many insightful things to say. V truly is a very unique character. You never really know what to expect from him, as he has so many sides to him. I look forward to you getting to know more and more about him, as well as the other members.

Yeah Taehyung (V) is a really complex character, he's known to be massively social - anywhere he goes he makes friends and is very good with young children
I'd say he doesnt have a massively dominant personality because he really doesnt need one, the other members really dote on him... If Tae speaks up with a suggestion, well thats what their doing now lol
At the same time he's still confident, and he really does what he wants whether or not people think its normal, or if anyone else has even ever thought of it before- hes super unique and theres videos of just how differently his mind seems to work. RM has said he thinks V is the next most intelligent member, but all the members also have said, outside of age, Taehyung is the 'baby' of the group

honestly what got me stanning BTS is because of their relationship and bond with each other. Their message,music and performances are great and all but those are just a bonus for me. So far i've never found another group that got me really interested in their thoughts and life as much as BTS. I listen to other groups music and watch their performances but that's it, im just a casual fan.
Yeah me too exactly! I stumbled upon them while searching for behind the scenes clips of hwarang after finishing watching it. After a couple of goofy bangtan bombs that got in the mix because of tae, i got so intrigued because surely these crackheads are not singers and dancers… and then bam! Checked some of their mv’s and then the BU completely sucked me into the rabbit hole 🤭
Literally me, RUclips kept showing me BTS edits made by ARMYs, showing BTS' crackhead personalities ahah. So I fell in love with their personalities before I even truly checked out their songs
Same. I came for their performances and music, but I stayed for their personalities, thoughts and interactions with each other. And they describe so many emotions that I feel or have felt myself, so I connect even more to them. I don’t think I have ever met people who are this reflective, aware and in touch with their emotions. I could listen to any of them for hours and soak up every word. What they have to say is incredibly inspiring and I feel like they make me a better person.

V was much more vocal when he was younger, but he was often misunderstood I feel because of his free-spirited nature and quirkiness. I think he became more reserved in interviews etc as he got older to avoid being judged, chooses his words more carefully and more observant, but gets more outspoken when he is comfortable in situations.

He also said he always got misunderstood do to his RBF. But sometimes when he feel more comfortable, he definitely more talkative.
He's actually quite insecure about his way of speaking and I think their gaining fame made him feel quite conscious about it. He's often laughed at for his "alien language", but I think it affects him more than we think. He might not always use the most conventional terms for things , for eg when he said "colour changing soup" instead of hair dye, but he does that because his instinct sometimes when he doesn't remember a word is to improvise and make up a new word(a huge sign of intelligence tbh) rather than worrying about which is right or wrong. It shows how his priority is to get the feeling across without caring about the technicality of things.
He was seen as the dumb one a lot because of that, as you can see in American Hustle Life where he got made fun of for using actual phrases all because they couldn't understand it and V's whole "in his head" and less confident nature made it easy for them to believe he was wrong. I'm pretty sure such incidents repeated themselves and caused him to become more insecure. Sometime in 2019 he was seen holding a book about improving speech and in one of RM's letter's to V during the festa, he compliments Tae for how his speaking has become more eloquent now and he wishes to hear more from him, hence showing that RM is aware of Tae's struggles with speech.
He seems a lot more comfortable now, and can stand up for himself more, but the traces of self-consciousness are there.

When I got into the fandom V was also the one who took me a while to figure out, but you’ll get there. And Jungkook actually received several offers to work with but in the end he chose BigHit (which was on the brink of bankruptcy) because he admired RM so much, still does obviously.
*RM was the first member joining BTS, that’s why Jungkook was able to see who was already part of that group.
Jimin has said that V is the most realist down to earth person that he knows and V is the one they call upon for creative unique ideas.🥰
For V, I think watching Run BTS, Bon Voyage, or In the Soop, V's personality comes out more. He is very unique, affectionate, and has quirky humor.
I'm growing to appreciate how the other members have matured in how they treat V. As Teens/Early 20s, they would sometimes openly mock or make fun of him in what seems like a hurtful way. I've grown sensitive to how V would grow quieter and quieter as the years have progressed.
It warms my heart to see how the more neurotypical of the group navigate V's personality and presence more supportively.
Jimin really is the most calm, composed, in touch with his feelings person, he just knows what to say at the right time, he is so kind, considerate and empathetic guy. Ofcourse he has a different goofy silly side to him also, but such things don't come out as much in such interviews, if you watch them in their comfortable surrounding just within themselves, he is the funniest hilarious person ever 💗
I've noticed a few people in the comments over-analysing Taehyung or sticking theories about mistreatment or judgement to him so I just wanted to weigh in a bit more neutrally. We've all watched Taehyung since he was seventeen and he's now twenty-five and he's definitely changed and matured over time. There are something's about him that'll never change, of course, he's very much a free spirit, kind, empathetic and extremely creative. He's very much Bangtan's baby, they all love to take care of him but he takes care of them to in his own way, he's very affectionate and complimentary with them, always making sure all of them are happy and engaged with what's going on. He really loves making them laugh whether it's with random dancing, skits or opera and is extremely thoughtful-- he organised all his friends to send birthday messages to Jin when he was a little sad he hadn't received many and during a replay of an old concert he posted a video of him playing with a lion puppet because he knew Army would be sad after having witnessed him cry talking about his grandmother's passing. He's very shy when it comes to public speaking but is also very social and can befriend almost anyone. He's definitely mellowed out over the years, and some people overread this "drop in energy" as something sinister when he really just seems to have grown up or misread his neutral expression as a dislike of other people or discomfort when in a lot of cases, he's just not currently smiling and that's it.
He's a very interesting person with a lot of contradictions and it can take some time but once you get to know him the little details of how he interacts with the other member's and the world really shine. Watching the 2018 Festa Dinner Party video might be a good place to start, as it was a very relaxed environment and you get to see them interact more casually. Taehyung was also feeling a bit more talkative that day and it's very sweet to watch. It's a long video, but it's very well worth it for how all the members interact with each other

thank you for posting this, i agree so much. as someone who's seen him growing up and mellowing out. he's matured but he's very sure in himself now. he knows what he wants and is doing everything that would make him happy. he's not one to pretend for the camera but it bugs me when people say him being calm and quiet on camera is something wrong. being quiet or calm is not WRONG or sinister or worrisome when that's how you are (not about the guy in the video, just some discourse of some "fans"). he's also one of the most openly loving person towards his loved ones. he loves being loved and loving people and you get that from him as fan as well in settings where its just us and them (weverse, concerts).
Yep thanks ! Exactly, he grew up ! He also had his fair share of personal drama that would change somebody , or at least make them mature emotionally ! But I feel he just evolved from teenager into adult !! The adolescence hyperness tends to attenuated anyway ! One cannot be a hyper 17 year old babbling in alien languages all the time , when they are now 25, adults, with formed brains and and personal experiences and dramas and issues and refined tastes and maybe more confidence in being oneself instead of the hyper version of oneselfs non stop ! Not that Tae ever forced himself to do or be anything else then what he felt like being in the moment ! Tae is just more aware of himself and more controled and there is nothing wrong with that !
V's personality, will be the most difficult to understand, he has what is call a 4D personality... he has this mysterious aura but also this almost child behavior, all the members saids that he has this innocences aura...
And also a really cute fact, is that Suga saids that "V comes from the stars", because of this sometimes weird behavior, but if you look at him deeply you will realize how cute and mature at the same time, he is. Love your reactions and always waiting for more content!!

V is a fourth dimensional thinker. He has a high emotional intellect, jokes with a straight face, finds loopholes in games that make his teammates angry and accuse him of cheating, and cannot tolerate any of his members saying anything negative about themselves. If you want to see V in a leadership position, look for the situations in which members doubt themselves, like when Jin says he knows he cannot dance well.
Btw yes there is like unlimited content for BTS and they keep coming out with stuff 😂

Max, maybe you failed to notice in the airplane scene but Jungkook gave up his great seat to RM in the middle of the flight so he can sleep well. That's family behavior right there. :) the boys take care of each other really well.
I get this feeling in all the videos that 1)Max doesn't read the comments well, 2) He doesn't understand the members or understand the context of each situation, 3) he goes section by section in each video without understanding the message in each video, repeats the same analysis for each member in every video. Has not understood anything about some members. Anyway this is my take on Max's analysis
Taehyung's personality is really unique, he's sometimes really quiet, or really active. And now that he's older, he has become a bit quiter too, but anyways he is a very funny guy and affectionate with the members too.
Taehyung was super hyper and mischievous, but over the past couple of years, he's grown up and almost lost interest in causing chaos. A natural progression that comes along with growing up, I suppose, but he seems much more settled these days so I'm happy for him.
Fun fact!!!! Jungkook gave up his reclined airplane seat so that RM could get some good sleep on the plane!!! So Precious!!

It's interesting you pointed out j-hope as the most admiring... j-hope is called the Mom of the group (their name for him). He showers them all with praise and support.
This is so true, and also like a mom he knows when to crack down and get serious for the best results (as the dance leader).

V is different, he's UNIQUE, FREE Spirit and that's why he attracts me the most... He sees everything in different perspectives and RM is quite protective of him because of his innocence
Sometimes in interviews overseas it seems to me that the other members are holding their breath each time V opens his mouth because you can't really predict what's going on inside his brain

of course RM hard on himself, he's not speaking on his behalf, he speaking on BTS behalf, on Big hit Behalf, on South Korea Behalf on all the young people all over the world behalf, since the message is about self love for younger generation... so being the leader and the smart person that he is, he knows the magnitude of this speech and the power that he has... he never takes things for granted ... never... always showing the biggest respect... that is why ARMY love BTS💜💜💜
I think the members with leadership are RM, Suga and jhope. Jhope leads and guides them when they are monitoring the dance moves, and the members say he is a strict teacher.
Iirc, RM once said if he wasn't the leader of bts, jhope would be the leader.
Their relationship is just so precious, they are much more than just band mates/friends, they are brothers 💜

V, or Taehyung, is a very unique personality within the group. When he was younger he used to be quite lively, very age-appropriate, immature and free. However, since 2017, he has shown a more closed behavior, both due to maturity and to possibly traumatic situations that he had been facing. V lost three loved ones in 2017 or around, and as a Psychology professional I know how much unexperienced Grieving can affect someone, and that aside from the problems that we will never have access to. However, V is a wonderful guy, who even as an extrovert is mysterious and likes to keep his best side to friends and family.
I understand your confusion about V tbh, he has a lot to unpack, idk if you'll see this, but I'd like to tell you some things about my bias.
V is actually a very smart, unique, innocent and a loving person, he's quiet yet so loud depending on his mood and surroundings. He acts so mature but he's still a child from the inside, the members call him their "happiness preacher", he's so pure and caring about his family, members and friends. His role model is his dad and the members including Tae use what his father said "it's not a big deal" as their slogan when they have a hard time in life. V loves animals and is merciful to insects, he adopted a dog knowing he had health problems after studying about dogs for 6 months. And knowing he's a baritone V had to work harder to fit his deep voice into BTS songs, considering most of their songs are high pitch. Although taehyung is someone who likes old songs, classical music and jazz, he also enjoys rap and is the biggest fanboy of BTS rapline lol. He's so versatile.
V is someone who likes to show love and receive love and compliments, he thinks telling someone "I love you" is an important reminder and makes him feel good, even if you compliment yourself it helps with your confidence.

I've actually cried watching some of the videos featuring V. I remember, back when I was doing Theater and Improv, what it was like to be unseen or misunderstood. 🥺💜
Jungkook is someone who is extremely giving and accepting of love. He realizes the novelty of the position they are in and ensures to appreciate it always. If you see him talk more in videos, the songs he writes and produces, and his words, you'll know how deep his emotional maturity runs, and just how deep his heart is. Suga once said that Jungkook's heart was always very very deep, it just took them a while to realize the depth of it. Maybe it's the same with everyone else. He seems very easygoing but is actually notoriously hard on himself for every little thing. He will smile through the hard times but doesn't hesitate to cry when he's thankful and overwhelmed with love. He's such a pure soul, I really appreciate and love who he is.
RM is very ENDEARING because HE IS ALWAYS HIGHLIGHTING HIS BROTHERS! HE IS THE BEST OF BTS in so many, many ways.
10:00 Koreans will exclaim to a person, "Fighting!" to indicate solidarity, show enthusiasm, and encourage persistence in dealing with a challenging situation. Or a person says it for himself, as RM does here, to indicate, "I'm giving it my best, so I anticipate succeeding!" Sometimes it is more like shouting, "Let's GO!" to cheer for your sports team during a game.
Thank you for explaining this. I never knew if it was a BTS thing or a cultural thing. I also think it's interesting that the guys use the English version of this (Let's go!) quite often too, especially RM.

V is different. People used to call him “Alien, “ but he didn’t like it. Army also refers to Tae Tae World because he often said or did thinks that were odd. RM especially was very protective of V and has said that V is extremely smart and creative. He just sort of lives in his own head and is a free spirit.
Yes, free spirit is the description of V. He is very creative and follows his own drum. You can see it over time in the clothes he chooses.although they are all close he is very independent.
Yeah V is really one of a kind, very special in his own way. I don't think he hates the term 'alien' anymore tho because they used it to refer to him in Friends which Vmin wrote so I'm not sure about that.

I think you'd really appreciate their MAMA2018 Artist of the year speech! It's probably the most vulnerable they have ever been with us and it's very emotional speech (never fails to make army cry) so I'm not really recommending it for you to analyze them in that moment, but like...just to take it in and to know them.
And i think that is best accompanied by these really deep poems they wrote around the early part of 2018 because in hindsight they very much speak volumes of how they were feeling that year

V is indeed a fascinating character, and one of the interesting things is that he is quite often the "closer" of songs, videos, interviews, etc. His hand is often seen last covering the camera lens or his voice is the last to be heard. He's also definitely taken the lead in organizational projects. He worked hard on the BE album and led many parts of its design and execution. He's a powerhouse of talent ;-)
rm definitely wants to include everyone, when he does his lives in korean he still tries to translate some of the main parts in english so people who don't speak korean can understand some things right away, even if he knows that subtitles will come later

V is actually very quiet when it comes to things like interviews etc. but he’s so funny and energetic during concerts, and just generally when he’s spending his free time with other members!
Also whenever he seriously talks about others you can feel how genuine he is and how important they’re to him. Jungkook (he joined bts when he was just 15) even said that taehyung was the one that helped him open up the most 💜
BTS In the Soop (S1) is my favorite of all their variety shows, we get to know the members in the most natural way. Their relationship to each is so precious to witness. They really are a once in lifetime group. As for Suga, he such a sensible and smart guy, so many good things comes out of his mind and he shares it with ARMY.
It honestly freaks me out, how absolutely spot on your perceptions of each member are... but that speaks to how brilliant you clearly are in your profession. As a fellow communications specialist, here's my (unsolicited 😇) reactions wish list: #LongCommentSorryNotSorry
• FESTA: Every year in June, BTS commemorates the anniversary of their official debut (13 June 2013). One tradition (which ARMY adores) is basically a round-table discussion in which the members reflect on their achievements, struggles, and goals, and also provide candid insight into themselves and their relationships with each other. It would be fascinating to see you react to two FESTA's: one from their early years (maybe '14 or '15?), versus a more recent one (I recommend '19). Both their evolution and introspection are striking.
• A live performance (I recommend "Dope + Silver Spoon + Fire + Run") - I'd love your insights on how the members' individual charms and dualities inform their stage personas, and how the members' awareness of each other, mutual respect, and chemistry as a team set BTS apart as a whole that is somehow greater than the sum of its incredibly impressive parts. Probably 99.9% of people see them perform before getting to know them. For you to have a polar opposite vantage point will be nothing short of utterly fascinating.

When V is in his bag, he's unstoppable! His voice, swag and stage presence will stop you in your tracks. But if he ain't in the mood, he won't hide it. He's quite emotionally sensitive and prone to depression. But he IS the secret sauce. None of it works without him.
When I got into BTS I had such a hard time understanding who V actually was. It felt like he was a different person every time I saw him. I think V is someone who is pretty closed off, even with people he feels comfortable around. If you still have some problems gauging V I recommend you watching some sort of V + Jimin interaction. There is no secret they are the closest of friends even calling each other soulmates. I feel like when V is with Jimin he is his 100% true authentic self and it’s interesting because I don’t think he comes off like he does when he is togheter with Jimin “normally”
Agreed! I had trouble understanding V and actually it was his relationship with Jimin that helped me to love him. He feels so free with Jimin, it's easier to ''read'' him

I actually appreciate that he watches full videos instead of crack videos/fan compilations. Because those videos, while entertaining, cuts out a LOT and removes the context and guides the viewers to a certain stereotype of the members based on the creators' POV. As a communication coach, I believe he can judge for himself better with the uncut, full length videos.
V actually has a really interesting personality, he is mostly quiet because he doesn't vibe with everyone. It's really hard to pass his vibe check, but when someone does he can even match J hope's energy level around them. And when he is on stage, it's a completely different story, It's like that guy is born to perform, undoubtedly one of the best performers the world has ever seen. He just has this unique charisma and ofc striking features which make him special.
even though jungkook is the youngest, bts often refer to v as the baby of bts. he's definitely very playful and a trickster when it comes to games. he's the same age as jimin, but jimin often acts as v and jungkook's older brother and is very protective of them. love all the intricate dynamics in this group!
One thing I’m really starting to learn from your reactions is that being a leader doesn’t necessarily mean being “in charge.” I get really caught up in the idea of being in charge if you’re a leader, but a lot of your comments about BTS helped me realize that you can have leadership qualities without necessarily ruling over everything.

I empathize and see myself in V a lot. I think V has a hard time putting words to what he's thinking and feeling. Like there's just not the right words out there to express exactly what you're feeling in your heart or thinking. RM however seems to be able to poetically capture the exact essence of what you want to vocalize which is one of the things I find most admirable about him.
I think what’s interesting about Taehyung is he grows on you a lot over time. When I first got into BTS, he was the person I noticed the least, I didn’t really form an opinion on him outside of really loving his voice when he sang and that he was gorgeous, but the more content I consumed the more I was able to gain a full picture of the person he is. He is eccentric in many ways and his train of thought is unique to him. He’s usually not very loud but has these moments of excitable or almost innocent energy. He also seems to be very introspective and is a very affectionate person, often staying very close to the other members and seeking or providing touch as a means to communicate instead of verbally. I think the more you delve into their content the more his personality will unfold for you. He’s not the one to be in your face but his personality will fascinate you.

In this video I pretty much agree with your analysis, among others with RM's very high Emotional Intelligence
Also, their partnership with UNICEF is very important to them. Their work in the campaigns Love Yourself and Speak Yourself, their donations, etc show how much they care about this work.
There was so much amazing work they were doing at that time. I was really proud of them and they've shown me so much of how humble they are and I guess that's what made me so attached because of the respect and just admiration I have for them.

"he's always up to something" YES HE IS. jin is so... fuckin weird. I say that with every ounce of love in my body. he's drenched in humor, and he keeps his more serious side to himself. but at the same time, he's not... trying to be extremely funny or trying to make everyone laugh. he's just... like That. there's something a little unhinged, a little chaotic about jin and he knows it. he's truly, truly unpredictable. he's always poking fun at people but he's never unkind. jin is just so.. warm and lovely and trustworthy. RM has a tendency to overthink, to get lost in his thoughts, in his mind, but Jin's always there to pull him out of that, to make him laugh and to lighten things up. Jin's humor can be a little brash sometimes, but it's never intentional. he's quick to recognize his mistakes and take responsibility for them.
I think the guys were complimenting RM so much because they kind of feel like they can't help him out more because of the language barrier, so they shower him with compliments and encouraging words and show him how much they respect him for doing that, so to make up for him for not being able to do more than these things in this situation, I feel like they feel like they own him for having all the work to himself

You're absolutely right. Namjoon has a lot of emotional intelligence. He always notices when a member feels insecure and gives positive feedback, encourages them.
Same for V. Especially lately, as they grew in fame and confidence, he has this "I don't care about the camera" vibe. He gives absurd answers in interviews sometimes, and he's also known for not being fake friendly, and not hiding it when he's interacting with another celebrity he doesn't like or feel comfortable. We joke in the Fandom that "this celebrity didn't pass Taehyung's vibe check".
And also right for Jin. He's always up to something, always joking, also thinking of a dad joke to say. Ironically, he can be very shy and he's known to get embarrassed and his ears become red when everyone is staring at him.
RM is very humble and he can't take compliments lol, he gets shy when they say he's the best leader.
V is the most interesting to see, his personality is so unique that it is difficult to decipher what he is thinking, I wish you would do an in-depth analysis of him.
One of the things I learned as ARMY is that your connection or understanding of the guys' personalities GREATLY VARIES on what order you see things. All 7 of these are like onions. They have tons of layers and first impressions can change so so SO drastically the more you get yo know them
About V, when he was younger, in the first years after debut, he was probably the most talkitive and hyper out of all of them but he grew up and matured so he's alot more reserved and mysterious now.
He's probably after Rm the smartest in the group (in my opinion), while Rm has, as you said, emotional and logical intelligence, V has a very unique take on things and you can actually see him winning over Rm in some questions on a few quizzes they do because he thinks so outside the box .

jimin has had so many reasons to become closed off and bitter. he gets a lot of shit for being.. popular? and talented? but the members take such good care of him, and he's so self aware that he's never stopped being kind. he's never stopped looking at the bright side of people, of the world and of life in general. I don't trust people, particularly celebrities, PARTICULARLY celebs as big as bts, but I genuinely, genuinely, truly have so much faith in Jimin. I believe, with all I am, that he is, in every sense of the word; good.
I really like listening SUGA, he is so intelligent, but he is also so real, there is nothing fake in him when he is sharing his thoughts
V is a pure creative. He shines in situations where they need to think outside of the box.
i think you should react to more bts run episodes to figure taehyung out, but i still don't know if that would be enough. tae has a very free spirit and used to be seen as weird because he always tend to look at things at a different way. what i mean is that taehyung shows more of himself in an environment that encourages his criative side. he's the embodyment of an artist, so i would recommend moments where he's allowed to sing or paint. even bts took a few months/years to figure him out :)
In my opinion, V has an on/off switch, sometimes he goes really quiet and contemplative, but when he switches on, he's really hyper, makes a lot of jokes, and expresses himself very well physically and verbally, & I can really relate to him in that way a lot.
(also his way of thinking is unique, which can be seen when they're doing quizzes and puzzles for run bts, he always solves them in his own way, it's always really interesting)
And Jungkook DEFINITELY has a lot of admiration, love and respect for Rm. He joined BigHit because he saw Rm rapping haha, and wanted to go to the same place as him. Jungkook attributes a lot of what he's learned in his life to Rm, and is still his biggest fanboy to this day. And Rm loves his Kookie. To this day, jungkook is the only one that can get away with calling Rm "Rap-Mon Hyung" (short for his old stage name, Rap Monster).

In my opinion, you’re actually pretty spot on for V, RM, Jin and JK. Jin is more introspective that you’d believe though. And JK has lots of ambition apart from his members. Suga is a known bullshitter. He will lie with a straight face and the members call him out on it sometimes. It’s his humor most of the times though. J hope is hopeful but hes also the most reserved when it comes to sharing with fans and the most business oriented. Jimin is duality incarnated. Sure he’s composed and elegant in this video. And yes he speaks calmly and is articulate. He’s also a mess who gets easily flustered and actually is a people pleaser. All these guys are multifaceted but you’re pretty spot on for the first four. Love your love for suga.
Great overview. RM, JIN AND JK are introverts. Jin is the oldest which has certain position in Korean culture but he never has used it in the group. He also came into the group with no musical or dancing experience so had to work exceptionally hard on that. But he took kind of a fatherly role toward the younger ones; like making lunch and driving the to school. He made himself the jokester and tells bad jokes that they all laugh at. What comes across is that they are all kind and respectful of one another. You pegged Suga right away. You should see Suga and J Hope such opposites together. JK is the youngest, knew he wanted to be a singer, joined at 13 and was only 15 when they debuted. He was quickly recognized for his stable vocals even when dancing and made the lead vocalist, so early on they called him the golden maknae and have always treated him as special which I think helped his confidence as he grew up. They all grew to adulthood with each other.

I am just proud of Jimin! How has he changed himself over the years?? In their earlier days, he was the one who was not confident of his appearance, and behavior towards Army, just wanted to be cool like other members. Now, look! He is known as the most composed, eloquent, and impressive one in any situation! He is a living example of how we can be poised by hardworking and working on ourselves!.

A big part of what makes BTS's group dynamic so unique is how much they've been through together. Their experiences of being looked down on - Because they were from a small company. Because they didn't all meet the "ideal" for idol beauty. Because they didn't really fit into the "idol" genre as it existed in 2013 - have all served to give them something nearly identical to the closeness of a blood-related family, and to always have a humbleness that's rarely seen in other celebrities of their stature. Even to this day they'll often make comments when accepting awards, on Run BTS or in behind the scenes content, or even in posts on Weverse about how their successes don't seem real, or how they don't feel like they deserve any of it.

Jungkook is shy, introvert and don't want to be the center of attention (although he is the official center of group). He is very kind and humble and never hesitate to help people. He is also very funny (according to BTS the most funniest member).
