This Insurance Write-Off Could Ruin Drew’s 205 GTI Restoration Plans | Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

A 205 GTI for £4,000 sounds like a guaranteed profit for Drew and Paul but there is a catch. In 2003 this car had an insurance write off and unless they can get it removed from the record it will seriously affect how much they can sell the car for.

Car looks great… but Sorrento wasn’t an option in ‘93. Also those late 1.9s were really choked by the Cat. I should know as I owned L952PWK:). I’m back to an F reg now and they really feel much more raw and lively.
