I miss doing that...we have the memorial flea market going on about 7 miles from me in Hillsville, Virginia...started last Thursday and last thru Monday... Great video. The Vikings put holes with a pin in their ax blades so that when they drove it into an enemy, it didn't get stuck and they could retrieve it. 3:55 am. I fell asleep last night and woke up at 3 am. I have some fried sausages and french toast. Ohio 58F, brrrr.

The hatchet is a shingling hatchet. That nob is the spacer. Used one for years.

That's a roofing hammer you bought. The pin sets the shingle exposure as you nail the courses. The edge is for trimming the shingles.

That’s a shingling hammer I believe
made for cedar shakes
It’s a roofing hammer from when they used real nails to put shingles on roofs. I used one in 1976 to roof our house.
I use landscape cloth too in my garden and love it.

It's not a hatchet, it's a hammer for cedar shake shingles. Meant to split 1/2 to 3/4 inch snakes NOT logs, chopping sticks etc.

I already messed up my garden. I planted my tomatoe plants 2 weeks ago and they've already died and/or eaten by the Robin's.(bird)
