  • This is an overview of the tech products I carry and use everyday. My tech EDC is probably the most important part of my EDC and the most expensive by far, every item here is the result of a lot of research and much trial and error but I’m happy to hear your suggestions for any of the items of course!
The central part of the carry is the Aer Cable Kit 3 and this is sort of a review of that as well.

The Samsung T7 died on me today. It's making me look bad. I don't know what other SSD to buy after the big two failed on me!!

What I'm using for an external SSD is an Crucial P3 Plus M2 Nvme SSD. To be able to use it as an external drive, I have it in a SSK M2 NVME case with USB 3.1 Gen 2. I can't see any difference in write and read speed compared to using the nvme with the pci slot on my motherboard and the case is made of aluminium, which makes a phenomenal heat sink.
I have my OS on that nvme and use it with my laptop, as well as my desktop. I think it's been two years since I changed to that setup and the drive hasn't failed on me yet. That makes for several thousand hours of use and a ton of read and write access to the drive. The drive is also faster than a normal external ssd and has a far smaller form factor.
If you're looking for a new drive, I would absolutely recommend you give this setup a try.

Wow! Thank you so much. I'm honestly doing it for the comments and the interaction more than anything. For example your comment made me happier than if I woke up to a bunch of new subscribers 🙂

Also thanks for the email. I don’t think I’ll do that many reviews and if i do I’ll first make one of my 3d printer cause I’ve had it for almost 2 years.

Thanks so much for the support as always! And can't wait to see your videos. As I said, just go for it and they do get a bit better with each one as you just told me 🙂

@@AboutThings_byTarifa lot of RUclipsrs get to 10k after over 100 videos so don’t give up. Yes it takes some luck and a lot of dedication but I believe everyone can reach 10k or even 1M if they stay dedicated long enough!

I'm not in a rush. And I saw that I got 300 subs when youtube decided to show people my videos. It slowed down because they stopped recommending. That's a good sign I guess that the content is doing well when shown. But now I'm at the mercy of the algorithm picking up a couple more of my videos every now and then. In the meantime I'm enjoying the interaction and I get to talk about my things which was the whole idea to begin with for me.
I've already been contacted by two brands and they sent me stuff to review which happened surprisingly quickly in my mind. That's another good sign I think.

How are the zippers? You mentioned that they are waterproof, are they really stiff?

Not as stiff as I expected. Alpaka's coated zippers were noticeably stiffer. no complaints there at all.
