How would it have been different when they didnt do the work . Here is how a contract works since you are not familiar with a contract, .. A contract has terms in it, and when any of the terms are broken, the contract is now null and void, .. If when they signed that contract for the car, they stated that the mirror would be fixed in x date and it was not done as a part of making the contract whole, he could by law, force them to take back the car since a part of the deal before he bought the car was that this thing would be satisfied to complete the purchase. Now, secondly, after them failing to install the mirror, he could have went to hyundai and had them do it and force them to cover the full cost of the mirror and the judge could not depreciate the cost based on that it should have been remedied with a used mirror because he gave them an opportunity to fix the issue which they failed to satisfy and at that point he can do whatever he wants to satisfy that agreement. What the judge say is moronic because when cars get into accident, regardless of its age the insurance company cant dictate that the repair shop get used car parts to fix the car because it was old but that car still get a new part so she is off her rockers and tend to do what she wants since this is a made for tv entertainment nonsense. Next time you get into an accident , if you car is old, go find out if they use old car parts to fix the car or do they use new car parts and if that part is a dealer only part, that is where that part has to come from and not the junk yard down the street

The manager said multiple times he won’t bring in the car, so what are they supposed to do. If he won’t bring it in it won’t get fixed.
They hadn't even ordered the part. Why would he bring it in, just to have it sit there while they try to source the part?

The fact that the defendant didn't want the business name to be mentioned says a lot!!! If you know you your business ethics are great, you would not care about a mass mention of your company name! The plaintiff was right, the dealer was waiting for a junk part from a junk car! This is why you buy any car from a name brand dealer, you may have to look a different dealers but you can hold big name dealers to so much more than those shady small ones!
