How are the screws attaching to the wall? Dont you need a threaded hole first?

Can only assume he is drilling into wood or some kind of board. If going into brick/concrete you're best offering up the panel and drilling through some pilot holes first. Then put some plugs in.

I'm currently attaching them to a concrete wall at the moment. Cut everything , make sure all is fitting ok. I placed the panel on the wall in it's correct position then drilled through it to mark the location of all the drill holes.take panel away from wall, drill all the holes in the wall, plug it, panel back in position, then screw it all in place. This prevents concrete dust destroying
the black felt board which would happen if you drilled plugged and screwed in the one go. Very slow process on your own. Won't be doing again.
