I never get tired of seeing Andrea being all mathematic and professional, meanwhile Dean is filming from a pogo stick. You two are great.
When you're using your biscuit joiner, either reference the base of it on the work surface, or the fence on the top of your board. There were a couple of times your joiner was tilted when you were cutting the holes, which is why you had to tap them into alignment with a hammer after clamping.

So happy to see that you finally got a biscuit joiner, however, now you need to trust them and use them instead of the pocket screws. They create a super strong joint and are a much cleaner, professional join.

I love the cabinet! Its a great design! However, I did want to share, while biscuit jointers are great for alignment, they do not provide a lot of strength for an end-grain to long-grain glue connection. To achieve a similar visual result, but maintain the strength, I would recommend using a doweling jig. A bit slower, but cheaper than the biscuit jointer and much stronger. In any event, I'm still loving this piece!

To prevent panels from splitting when you’re cutting with your circular saw go to Home Depot or lowes and get a 4x8 2” thick foam insulation sheet and lay that down then put your panel on it. The blade will cut the foam but it supports your panel while you cut giving you a much cleaner and easier cut

Just a tip, if you are using your knife to scrape the food from the cutting board into a bowl, flip the knife upside down so that you’re not using the blade to scrap against the cutting board. Using the blade to scrape will dull your knife a lot faster

Throughout the build I was like, Thank You God that Andrea or Dean doesn’t have to carry the saw out. Woo Hoo! Love it. Now you need a sun blocker of some sort for those days you know are coming. . . Yep always something!
Yup, a big awning would rock! I came by a 10' square one recently that I couldn't use. Couldn't find anyone that needed it. Ended up donating it to a shelter. Too bad you aren't closer. You could have had it for free!

The closest lane when turning right is the "outside" lane, not the inside.
