I think you should start another RUclips channel and call it My Non-Handy Husband, and Andrea can film Dean doing all the things he can't do! LOLOL. Kidding of course. Love you both to pieces!

Andrea is starting to make amazing furniture, you should really getting her some kind of wood burning stamp or sticker to mark her creations. How cool if one day we come across her work on antique roadshows lol.

Andrea, you are my fave! I appreciate watching your process for so many reasons, including learning what to do and what to avoid. It is inevitable with all projects there will be multiple trips to the store, multiple unanticipated goofs, and tons of lessons learned. One thing is certain, we will surprise ourselves with what we can accomplish with persistence and will. You are such an inspiration.

We had just finished paying off our house and were planning some renovations and some travel when my husband had a stroke. He then had swelling of the brain and had to have a piece of his skull removed, all before Covid. Now 3 years later, going on 4 some of those Reno’s can no longer be put off, but we’re on a tight budget so it’s really up to me now to get stuff done. Andrea has given me a lot of confidence that I can do a lot on my own. Since watching your videos I’ve installed baseboards, shelving, and this summer I’m going to do a cabinet build in our living room, change the flooring in our basement and other projects I know now I can do myself. Thanks so much for the inspiration and the clear explanations. 😊❤

Absolutely, i would try and build one of these cabinets heck i want to build kitchen cabinets. Andrea is not afraid to try new things and neither am i. Andrea has been a great inspiration to me both in her illness and in her ability to make beautiful things out of wood. I am not good at drawings but it is great to get the idea into your head and try and make it a reality is something special. Thanks Andrea and Dean you are more handy than you give yourself credit for. I love you guys.

I love watching your channel! You and your husband remind me so much of me and my husband. Except I’m only handy when I have to be and he’s the woodworker. But watching your channel gives me more insight into how he builds and an appreciation for the work that goes into it. We’re in Texas too and I’m sure not going out in that heat simply to watch and learn! I loved the engagement story. We got married at 19 and we have lots of cringeworthy engagement stories. But 18 years of marriage and the stories just get funnier so maybe buying my own engagement ring and him proposing in the Target parking lot was even better than an instagram perfect engagement story!

I personally won’t be building a cabinet but I do get inspired to try other things Andrea has done on your channel. I have built an end table. I just like watching your videos. Your goofy banter back and forth cracks me up. 😂

It’s getting so close to the pretty stage !!! What a big project indeed. Every time you roll that bench out, it makes me smile. And now with that tent, I won’t worry so much about y’all getting heat stroke out there 😂
The ring story made me laugh right out loud. Honestly, I don’t think I know one couple that doesn’t have some funny story around their rings. Just seems to be one of those things.

I just want to say that I love your channel. You have a wonderful family and the love you share is inspiring. I just want to let Dean know that Andrea totally inspires people to try to build things and I use many of her ideas. My husband probably wishes I didn’t watch since I am always asking him to build things now since he is the better woodworker, I just get the ideas and help! It is so much more meaningful to build something of quality than just buying a piece of IKEA furniture. My children reap the rewards since they are grown and both have their own homes to fill up.Thanks for all you do.

Yew,I AM inspired to build something. 🙂 I had already planned to build my retirement cottage and was contemplating the fairly uninspiring cabinetry available to me in my price range. So, I'm eagerly taking notes so that I can assemble custom millwork for my new home. It will be a lot prettier than IKEA (my home will be a traditional Colonial Revival Hacienda, and IKEA doesn't really "go"). And, from the look of things, cheaper as well. Thanks, Andrea!

I just want to get in there and peel it off 😂…..Dean, I lost my wedding band in my car and re-enacted myself losing it over and over agin to find out where it could have gone. It took days to figure out where it could have gone. It went under the seat heater in the smallest of openings (yes, my wedding ring is that small!)
