Kerala Nadan Mutton Curry | Mutton Roast | മട്ടൺ റോസ്റ്റ് | Veena's Curryworld -Ep : 69

- Ingredients
Mutton-1/2kg
Onion -2
Small Onions-1/4kg
Green chilli-4
Ginger -garlic Paste -1 tbsp
Curry leaves
Tomato-1
Salt
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chilli-1 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder-2 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Fenel powder-1/4 tsp
Crushed Pepper-1/2tsp
method
heat coconut oil .. add curry leaves and saute
add inchi-garlic- paste d saute till raw smell goes
Then add Onion and salt
When it become tarnsperent add small onion and green chilli
saute till brown shade
then add all powders
saute well in medium flame ..
add tomato and cook till oil oozes out
add mutton and mix and cook for 5 minutes
then close and in medium flame one whistle
open and cook for another few minu till oil appears
taste and adjust the salt.. If u want add crushed pepper ..
can season with small onions and curry leaves

മട്ടൻ കുറച്ചു നാളായി പരീക്ഷിക്കണമെന്ന് തോന്നിത്തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട്. ഇന്ന് മട്ടൺ കിട്ടി. പിന്നെയൊന്നും നോക്കിയില്ല ധൈര്യമായി കണ്ണുമടച്ച് പരീക്ഷിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ വീണാസ് മട്ടൻ റസിപ്പി വച്ച് ഒരു കാച്ചങ്ങ് കാച്ചി . എല്ലാവരും കഴിച്ചിട്ട് കിടു കിടുക്കാച്ചി എന്നീ Coments പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ coments എല്ലാം അങ്ങോട്ട് നൽകുന്നു സ്വീകരിച്ചാലും .. Just finished making the curry version.. we make the similar version. Now tried this recipe with shallots..it does give a unique thickness and taste to the curry. Guess peeling them is the only time consuming thing in this recipe...but well worth the effort.

Superb taste 👌👌👌👌 tried banana flower thoran and kovaykkya mezhukkperatti nd other recipes as well.. my four yr old son was skeptical about veggies.. but kovakkya stir fry turned around so well that he now eat almost everything stir fry or thoran.. I have tried some of your recipes.. egg roast, veg stew, fish Molly, mutton curry.. All have been excellent.. Thanks a million..
One doubt.. The mutton I get here, it's a bit hard. I cooked for twice the time you had suggested but its still not that soft and moist as I expect. Next time I will try to cook for some more time. Any other suggestions to improve this .. like marinating with something. Please suggest
people used to marinate mutton with raw pappaya paste to make it tender.. or soak them in curd .. the cooking time of mutton depends up on the type of mutton, age of mutton etc.. so increase the 👩🍳 ng time in ur case😊👍
