Today I decided to try the kristen ess hair gloss in platinum ash, and boy oh boy do I mess up haha! I also decide to cut my ends to try and help make it look less damaged... yea that definitely made things worse!

You're hilarious 😂 thank you for this video. I've been bleaching my very short hair for a couple of years now. In order to get a pale yellow tone I must bleach 3 times. I was recommended this gloss to use after I bleach my hair to a pale yellow. I bought a box and will try it the next time I bleach it (I already have black roots and this will turn them reddish as it contains hydrogen peroxide)

Your end result is beautiful 😍❤️ but now I'm afraid to use it on my hair. It reminds of L'Oreal Toners because the ashy one left my hair super dark after bleaching 😢

Be sure to follow the box! Toner actually lifts the hair a bit, so brown hair turns orange. You need level 10 blonde hair to go ice blonde with toners. I bleached to level 8/9 blonde and I still can't achieve ice blonde.

@@joyw3327 oh no I’m sorry! My hair at that point was so damaged from being over processed so I was just trying anything to make it bright and look healthier haha

First, its an ash so its going to tone darker ash undertone. Your hair wasnt light enough to tone with this. Its a gloss toner so its not going to be dramatic like a hair dye. On the plus side i like how your hair turned out

Yea I definitely didn’t do any sort of research for this product haha, but once my hair gets a bit more healthy, I’ll get back to platinum by a professional 😅😅. But thank you so much!! 💖
