Every time I see her, the only word that comes to my mind is Queen. How she holds herself up, strong and regal, as she speaks. Even in her softer tones, I feel my world quake at just the raw emotion in her voice.

This was beautiful. I'm neither black nor white, but I did my BA in American cultural studies, especially race relations. What I came I across is really saddening. Racial thinking seems to be so deeply entrenched in US mindset, which is most obvious in the comments section.
Sadly, so many of you black people don't know how beautiful you are and what a strong legacy you have.
