@@bryang2895 Not everyone. Five years since the first FT Menasaur and Superion parts were released. If FT does actually release any Devastator parts, I would imagine 6 years to finish it, if they even can.
@@passionnotparked9099 I bought the much cheaper Zeta Toys Superion instead. Got it as a black Friday sale for only $275. That's like 1 FT figure and that's not the $400 one that comes with the combiner parts. It's good enough for me.
That vehicle mode on FansToys Scrapper is hideous. Even the stylized Generation Toy design looks cleaner than that in vehicle mode. Baaad!? G1 PMOP was great!! Granted, I may be a bit super mega biased because for 11-year-old me who'd missed out on a lot of the older stuff four years prior, this *WAS* my first Optimus Prime, therefore this was _MY_ G1 Optimus Prime. (Similarly, the LGEX God Ginrai set may have made changes, but in general, this is what I expected for a modern CHUG PMOP. I don't see them topping that.) And MPG9 Super Ginrai is bound to be just as epic for the Masterpiece line. (Scale? What's that? They even screwed that pooch with the Bayverse Optimus & Ironhide in MPM & SS!)
I cringe a little when you bash g1 toys and say things like "we are getting the one we should have got all along." That is like saying we should have had iphones in the 80s because they are better walkmans. The technology and engineering weren't there. Plastic wasn't as good, so things like complex ratchets or universal joints would have crumbled the first time they moved. Seriously though, stop bashing g1. Respect the elders. None of these modern bots would be here without the 80's bricks that built the foundation of everything we love today.
Yes but I can not go back in time an be Un disappointed as a kid sadly, when I got Powermaster prime I felt he should be at least as good as the first prime but that one went back wards in articulation sadly. I plan to review that one and I usually show the vintage figure in my reviews
Pretty sure we’re not getting the Steeljaw from ShowZ. I learned my lesson from that one and bought all the other exclusives at Toy Dojo. I’m just keeping that $1 deposit open to see if Show Z will ever acknowledge it’s not happening and refund it. Part of why I won’t put down the large deposits they require for the Fanstoys releases. Don’t mind being out $1. $30 - $40 for a standard figure or even $150 for the Fort Max…. I wouldn’t like that
It has been a while since I preordered that one and glad I also got the standard one. I wonder what the process is for them to get the exclusives because they got the voltron version no problem
Honestly, you don't have to fear of missing out anymore. I think all this stuff ends up getting re-issued at one point or another. Now I've seen so called companies that close down and did Fire Sales! Claimed by RUclipsrs get re-issues #Deformation space Ds-02 Recording alliance and also DX9 stunticons getting re-issues..from a company that supposedly close down and re-emerge in less than a years time! Not to mention all these Fts Limited versions that are Not So limited lol ..
The FT Scraper seems a bit wide to me especially as compared to the images of the xtb. I'm going to hold off for now, after seeing the mmc prototypes there's definitely option abound. I'll more than likely bite on the Ironhide and Omnibot as well, despite xtb's QC issues on car bots. Definitely getting the mmc Ramhorn. At least we'll know for sure what the mpg scale is this year.
Im waiting patiently on the Sideswipe wars to begin. I'm pretty much fine with my Prowl/ Blue streak representation but if the bot looks cool and its not too much, I may go in on it. Im also following the ironhide war. I have an oversized star scream, so now I kind of wish I had an oversized ironhide, prime and megatron.
I’m totally prepared to wait (easier to justify the cost…) but the conflict in my head between FT and XTrans Devastator is too big to commit to either of them right now before seeing and knowing more about them. At the same time I don’t want to miss out on one or the other. Sitting tight seems to be the only option for now…
I'm hoping the "tan" stripes on the Runamok recolor are just badly photographed and will actually be gold on the finished figure (to make it match the stickers on the toy), but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I'd like to know how is the playability and durability of those combiners and oversized ones that will be released this year. I mean, buyers expect a bang for their bucks especially the expensive ones.
Love hearing your thoughts as always 👍
Thanks great stuff coming up
No way am I buying FT Devastator. FT can't even finish one combiner.
Everyone says that until after the first review..

Not Everyone...I'm not even Finishing my Superion, only looking to complete Menasor.

I would have been in on their set for Bot Mode...but those hips on their figures look way too weird

Yep I think they put all their design into combined mode because it looks way different as a leg

I’m looking forward to hopefully completing the MMC Defensor. The size doesn’t bother me but it’s just so well designed
MMC is doing great work with their combiners
Got the black voltron too!!! Cant wait!! When is that exactly shipping out?.ty

Yeah, exactly. They're just creating a false urgency and pushing you to buy.
@@warrickmcinerney7899 exactly! And to be honest sometimes you'll even get better versions down the line.
That is a benefit of collecting in 2024 but watch Fanstoys will do some false scarcity tactics
Whoa, DX9 is doing MP again? Sign me up, please!

Do many Devy options there should be one to satisfy everyone, Xtb is doing good work
A bit harsh on g1 ginrai there
Yes but I can not go back in time an be Un disappointed as a kid sadly
I only have a MP Megatron and Sunstreaker. But those DX9 Prowl and Sideswipe I think I might get.
There is an advantage to starting collecting now
I forgot..what's your financial channel name? Thanks Mike and Happy Friday.
It is Financial Independence 101 hope you enjoy! ruclips.net/channel/UCKnxS_Ghzasi9Oy1pZsPNlg
For some reason pooptube magically, mysteriously unsubscribed me.❤😂
They have been known to do that thanks for checking
Only thing looking forward to are FTs Dead End, Omnibots, and maybe missing links.
All great releases that many are anticipating

There is going to be a lot of petty battles between the same characters coming but that gives us options
I enjoy the video, but I feel I’ve been priced out of collecting MP.
That is why options are good some are more affordable than others and with options one or the other will see a sale
Scary how much money this stuff will cost to make a complete collection.
So true and why I am ok with buying one combiner part every few months
Too much spending😂 im sticking to 80s vintage
Vintage has such charm

I can see one or more figures sold out by the time the last one of the set is released
@@tydiriumhanger1320 yeah but by that time we should know which set we prefer. I think seeing the first one or two should be enough…
FT-Blitzwing???

Gold would be cooler than tan
I think I'm going for MMC devastator, but the cell studio has caught my eye.
So many options to choose from

It will be interesting to find out how all these new combiners work out. once everyone reviews them they may not be available to buy at retail by then
I plan on picking up the Gilgal Toys Megazord. He is 20 inches tall!
That sounds pretty cool
Hey Mike, good morning. I am hoping you have a swell day today!!! Cool video
Thanks been a busy weekend but fun
