regieleki is the strongest out of all of these. he's got an ability that increases his attack by one stage, he has the highest speed in the game, and he has two amazing tools for speed control (paralyze and electroweb) and since move order is determined dynamically (i.e. mid-turn speed changes change the order in which pokemon attack. e.g. in a double battle, if a pokemon gets paralyzed by the first attack, or if someone switches in a pokemon with drizzle and another on the field has swift swim, or drought and chlorophyll, it changes the order in that same turn that the switch-out happened, which did not used to be the case. turn order used to be decided fully at the beginning of the turn.) since move order is determined dynamically, regieleki's amazing speed PLUS speed control means that your other pokemon doesn't even have to be faster than your opponent's fastest pokemon in order for both of yours to move first. you can just electroweb, or thunder wave, or use an attack with a chance to para, and your slower pokemon can get speed control. basically, regieleki is so fast that he makes the other pokemon on your team faster.
Really hard getting used to regidrago because I feel like they tried to squeeze a charizard head in there, first ive gotten sick of seeing charizard, second he’s not even a fucking dragon.

I never got why Regigigas got the shaft. His stats are aight, but he just doesn't hold up to most Legendary Pokemon and his ability Slow Start sets him back by a lot. He always felt like the type of dude that should be able to one-shot because of his ability, but it just isn't the case. Dude definitely needs a rework, one of my favorite designs, coolest looking Regi. Daddy Smurf of the boys. But is somehow just awful.
Fun fact: average BST for a Legendary (excluding unique cases such as Arceus) is 680 excluding five of them which have 670, and Kyurem who gets only 660: The 670s are Groudon, Kyogre, Zacian, Zamazenta and... you guessed it: Regigigas.
I was hoping he might get a form change or something that got rid of Slow Start when the regis were revisited in Crowned Tundra or one of the newer Sinnoh games but oh well
Because they wanted to make him similar to slaking, strong mon stat wise but a rough ability gimmick but unfortunately comp pokemon doesn't work like this and regigigas is just mediocre at best
@@lunarstrikeok9756 You don't need many types to have good coverage, you need the right types: you literally get more coverage from Ice/Electric than you'd get get from Bug, Dragon, Rock, Fighting and Ghost combined, Eleki specifically has Flying/Electric which allows it to strike literally everything for at least neutral damage. Same goes with defensive efficacy: the 16 types are not all the same from one another, some are busted like Steel and some are a burden upon their bearer like Rock.
The newer episodes with the Regis made me notice how the newer series makes the Legendary Pokémon feel a lot less special. In the older series, especially the movies, the legendaries had a somewhat divine and godlike feeling and nature. Now they just feel like normal Pokémon, especially with the Operation: Mew team, where they wield, fight, and catch legendaries way too often and casually. The only other character to catch a legendary was N, who was able to speak to Pokémon and was able to befriend Reshiram before catching it.
Regigigas’s only flaw is the ability but other than that, it’s design is amazing and it has the lore of a legendary. Also you cannot ignore the anime appearance in the Hoopa movie. Regigigas is definitely my favourite legendary Pokémon.
While eleki known as the strongest. Its worth mentioning that rock is solid too tbh With an assault vest great defensive stats and big atk and access to smack down earthquake power up and drain punch i like using assault vest with it
True that! Don t forget with sandstorm it also raises the sp def of rock types so assault vest+ sandstorm is great for regirock both in defense and special defense
The Regis have always been my favorite pokemon as a kid because of their designs and the extreme nostalgia I have towards solving their puzzles, I just wish they were a bit better and that Regigigas didn’t have slow start
I used to think that the Regi Pokémon looked and sounded like electronic robots. Turns out that they are Golems, magical entities composed of inorganic material created by humans to serve them. Now that I’m mentioning it, that doesn’t sound too different from robots, technological entities composed of inorganic metal and artificial plastics, powered by electricity and created by humans to serve them.
Regigigas definitely gets S rank for the fact that in the manga it was a monster. Not only did it push back Dialga and Palkia but also slammed Giratina and Heatran.

Regis are generally among my best surely, in term of idea they are so unique, mysterious look, mineral creatures, inspired to golems and automatons-they can be even guardians, interesting relation with erase. I am affectioned especially to the original ones, with mineral appearence, like statues. Regigigas is OK, solemn but slightly anonymous. I like the new ones, i wished there would be, while they are very different of what i could have thought, more Regieleki very interesting design, made of Energy; Regidrago makes the less sense but interesting appearence. If i should choose a single fav maybe Regice for the cristaline and geometric appearence, while i am between Regirock, irregular the most Ancient looking, like a mountain.
Registeel is my favorite of the Regi family. It one that was a lot of fun ti catch, plus it’s the first Pure Steel type Pokémon. I would honestly put all OG Regis on S tier. Regigigas on A tier, and Regieleki & Regidrago on B tier
Ive always wondered about the Regis. If they are supposedly Legendary and are necessary for Pokemon wildlife. Why would they allow themselves to be captured. Especially by trainers who don't even pursue battles, which should be a thing they deem humans worthy I feel sorry for the writers for putting these awesome Pokemon in such awful settings

The original 3 need their own specialty move, the newer ones have Crush Grip, Thunder Cage, and Dragon Energy
Also signature abilities, eleki and drago got transistar and dragon's maw. No reason the others can't have counter parts.
