Although it is called a gps tracker, it’s not really a gps tracker. It uses the mobile network’s tower information to find a very rough and inaccurate location.
Accuracy is 500m🙂😂

Trying to understand instructions is like Greek hyrogliffics IMPOSSIBLE would be nice to have fluent English speaker giving precise instructions.
2G has long been obsolete in AUstralia
Also one feature that is missing from this device is - The location history -
which should be recorded on the SOM Card - Thus the movement can be
checked at a later time.
For example - I want to know where my cat goes on his daily or nightly walk.
I am not likely to stay awake all night monitoring his movement in real-time.
For me - it would be better to wait until he returns - and read the recorded
TRACKING data --- Something that this device cannot do.
I would consider this device is limited in its use - uses OLD obsolete technology
(even with 4G LTE not all systems are compatible as dissimilar frequencies
' BANDS' are used from country to country - so - what may work in one country
- may not work in another - and not necessarily with every service provider.
I would consider this device a TOY - it is not in the realm of sophisticated
trackers. - It would have been fine ten years ago - but not in 2022
I thought 4G/5G is backward compatible with previous technology like 2G, etc.?

So the updated GF07 takes a 4G sim no more 2g and do I need a SD card for voice hearing only I don’t need gps just need it for hearing conversations only

555 is for starting the record but dos it have a number to stop recording

Is this working only 2G network? Not for 3G/4G ? I’m living Australia. And I bought this one but it doesn’t work. I think the problem is in Australia 2G network no longer work anywhere in the county. 😩😩
The 2G Network in AUSTRALIA was discontinued in early 2017 --
in April -- if my memory serves me correct.
As for other similar devices one may encounter - it is wise to discover
on which Frequency band the device will operate - even between the three
carriers in AU -- TELSTRA - OPTUS - VODAFONE -- they do not operate
on identical frequency bands - so what may work on one service provider
may not work with another -
The situation in the USA is even worse than in AUSTRALIA
Also - soon enough 3G will cease to function in AUSTRALIA - that is scheduled
for June 2024
does other devices that use 4G network require mobile data / subscription plan or they also just need balance like this one

Yes ... You can charge it with any sim
Can it work with just the Sim card?
The reason why I asked that question is because I followed your steps only with my a Sim Card but it it didn't work
Please check your sim has not any puk locked & your service operator supports 2g network.
If you are using a splited sim then use a small tape, sometimes it doesn't contact properly with sim connection points due to splited SIM.

It was a good question. Product states no cost for sim card or service, but doesn't tell you where to get the service to start. It refers to a sim card number but doesn't explain if that number is a phone# or a different number. When using the number on the card, it doesn't connect. Where do you get the sim cards from if not from a carrier.

This product does not work as a GPS is a hoax, it only works as a telephone network. The explanation is OK. but it doesn't work as GPS. There is a connection between the phone and the device but it does not send a location.

@@elcuhhangel1968 maybe you don't know what's going on. It doesn't have GPS at all. It's only tells you which antenna your SIM card has logged onto. GPS does not require SIM cards

I have bought one. It does not work properly. Binding by sending SMS (000) does not work. Very often when I call the SIM number for hearing the number does not respond, it asks me to leave a message, or gives busy line.

JUST TO REITERATE - IT'S A LIE. IT DOES NOT HAVE A GPS CAPABILITY. It uses LBS, which estimates a rough position from the cellular phone towers it is connected to. In my case it shows a position 400m from the real position - useless for locating a thief. It is amazing it is still being sold, and reviewers are not pointing this out.
