Hi! I have just bought a GF-07. I prevously disabled PIN code in my SIM card. But it does not respond to any SMS, eg, 000 or 999. The only feature which works is, that I can dial this device and can listen the voice of the environment. Shall I set with the SIM card previously (someone wrote here to disable voicemail, but I don't know, how) or I cannot use GF-07 for real time GPS location monitoring? In this case, I will send it back and need my money back from the sales. Thanks!
I purchased 2 of these and 1 sim card. Then paid $9.90 USD for 3 months of service. It doesnt do any of the things that yours did. I text 000 and nothing.. Then 666 and nothing. Seems like its on 2G only. Is there a way to get around that?

These units do not have GPS functionality at all. If you open the case you will find there is NO GPS Antenna. It works on the cellular networks ability to provide a rough estimate of location, only, by using 'triangulation'. The nearest I was able to get to the actual location was about 2 Km away. Worthless piece of rubbish. It only works with an old 2G network Sim card too. 3G, 4G or 5G - won't work at all.

The app is Zero GPS. Anyone know how to fill in the information it asks for? Device ID ? Device name ? ICCID ? I put the SIM card number in. Didn't see a place for the IMEI number or the sims phone number.
I saw a review from an Indian guy saying that it was supposed to work on 2G networks, ant that it wouldn't work on 4G only networks at that time. Check that out, it might help testing it with one of those cheap cellphone 2G networks' SIM.

The GPS need to activate 2G and Data roaming on your phone with sim card in your phone, before putting the chip in the GPS

Not completely rubbish then as you STILL narrow your search area to 2KM, as where you previously had a whole country to search.

Wrong. This guy is amateur. It works. First disable SIM locking number in settings (put sim in phone to do this)
