My 47 year old nephew is big into iron maiden. This is my first time hearing their music… I just subscribed and put the notification bell on. I turned 71 a while ago. Became a metalhead two years ago. This proves one is never too old to learn to love a new genre of music.

I'm 50 years old and I'm very happy to see young people listening, enjoying and feeling this band....I don't know what will happen when metal & rock veteran bands disappear, but see this makes me have great hopes that Rock & Metal never will die 🤟
I'm 13 and I personally hope too that young people will (at least some young people) come back to the good old rock/metal! They don't know what they're missing out - mainly when they spent their times listening to modern pop and rap things which a looot of them don't even make sense or their lyrics are not complex at all, but mainly the melody and uhhh...Okay, I'm done with criticizing modern music lol. I just sometimes don't get how can so many people say that it is way better than rock - _ - I srsly hope this generation will at least give rock/metal a chance! Perhaps even with classical music. I don't think a lot of people today listen to that as well, but imo it is the greatest music, mainly because it is the "first" I'd say. Some classical music I believe isn't too different to some metal. But okay, I'll end my essay here, it's already getting too long, lol. I just hope I was clear with my message here. I’m 16 and I love rock and metal bands including Iron Maiden. It’s sad to think that mainstream music these days is shit and music that’s actually good isn’t mainstream anymore, but at least there’s some young people out there that appreciate this kind of music.

This has become so anthemic. One of those "the first thing I think of when I hear the word Maiden" kind of songs. It's got everything - authentic passion, honesty, simplicity and muscle.
Maiden won't be around one day, but they will never, ever die. We are so fucking blessed to all be alive at the same time during their active career...think about how lucky you are. I am forever grateful.

The glass half-full mentality is good, wish I was born 30 years earlier to have been able to witness them since the late 70s, but on the other hand lucky to been able to see them since the late 00s, so I'll take it.
I won't lie they were one of the the biggest parts of my life and always will be. I am 40 now but when I die I am sure I will remember them.
I love the fact that not only Janick, Dave and Adrian get to improvise solos sometimes - but Bruce also "improvise" the lyrics, and it is awesome!!! - breaking us down, been here before!! 😂
Also, he changed "Pray for me, I'm almost there" to "look at me, I'm almost there".
Don't forget Nicko's fills and Steve's bass lines.
Whereas in the old days they'd just have the songs learned and properly rehearsed!
@@johnbonhamsinger Actually they hardly ever played solos identical to the album and Bruce even missed some lyrics during the epic world slavery tour, I think people are just more critical of them in their older age. I am just thankful they are still playing without backing tracks, click tracks and lyric monitors. Maiden are still the greatest band in the universe! UP THE IRONS 🤘

A few of you may already heard this story.
I used to hang out and drink with these guys.....way back in the late 70s,early 80s...we all used to meet up at the Ruskin Arms and rock.....must have seen Maiden at least 30 times before they "made it". I even played football ⚽️ with Stevie Harris for a local amateur team (Melbourne FC). Trust me he was as good at that as he is on the bass!!! They were the most humble decent blokes you could meet. The best thing about them though ,is they are still the most humble decent guys and have stayed true rockers.

I'm still amazed every day how amazing Bruce's voice sounds after all of these years. Many of his contemporaries have had to tune their songs down just to sound decent.
Its a testament to his skill. Bruce understands how singing works on a physical level. He knows where the air has to go, how it gets there, and he understands how to control it with minimal strain on his vocal chords and his lungs. Kinda like Dio, he knows how to breathe. Check out the clips of his one man show where he explains all this stuff and shows its execution.
And this man also beat throat issues.Maiden wouldn’t have such an extensive catalog or history without Bruce.

I know its mad they never once took drugs and very rarely drank as well they are not party men at all or are they full of ego and look at me type of band they just so very down to earth gentlemen type guys adrian at 65 66 he looks so good for his age they all aged really well youth looking they put younger bands to shame I love the look both on adrian and dave concert look what they both wear they look fabulous and really really good for their age. They are all very young at hearts like kids on stage
I'm 55 and it's great to see the different age range on here especially with so many younger people who will make sure rock lives on.

Came back to say that I was at the show in Greensboro and Maiden has absolutely never sounded better. Everyone is playing and singing at the top of their game. I couldn't believe how spectacular the show was musically and visually. Senjutsu is a killer opening track and the crowd singing the chorus was powerful! Thank you Maiden for an unforgettable night!! UP THE IRONS FOREVER 🤘
For me this song is just absolute peak Iron Maiden - Bruce's soaring vocals, the epic solos and of course the 'gallop' of the bass and drums. There are so many other bands I love but none of them just nail every single element flawlessly like Maiden do. Really hope I get to hear this one live myself one day.

I'm 35, and this band has had the ability to give me goosebumps since I was 8.

No other metal band commands this type of fan base and following in this day and age. True test of time. There are some greats for sure but Maiden is at the apex.

Anytime Maiden releases something new I'm a full blown addict and all in completely, but when this particular track came out I swear to God I had it on a repeat for the hour long drive home the day it came out. It became an instant Maiden Classic and should be a staple from here on

Still killing it! Bruce's vocals are very slightly aged, but light years better than the ***** vocalists of todays garbage, Nico can still hold the tempos and changes that are needed for Maiden to sound real. No bull***, No auto tuners, No slow down. Metal Or Die Forever!
