Guys, you can auto farm the boring stuff and burn your "resin" super fast!!! No more sleepy runs after job just to be efficient! And the best part is that you can't auto the bosses, so it's not really an auto game, it's just to make things less tedious.
I am enjoying this game so far! This comes from someone who NEVER played turn based games its so much fun and just fresh. Characters are cool, world is great, lore is a bit confusing but Ashikai explained it xD Also i am pure F2P, saving up for the next banner Overall 9/10 only because you can’t quit the game completely and characters don’t have different ult voice-lines so it gets kinda annoying sometimes xD

I’m only going to build two teams with two SSR rare characters. One will centre around Welt while the other Clara. Other 5 Stars will either be discarded even if I get them, with only the ones compatible being in the mix. This method is what I’m going to go for. Build 1, build the second when required, then fight until I can level them up.

I LOVE that you can basically auto farm. I quit Genshin because I absolutely despised the farming and having to constantly actively play through the same domains. Fantastic change. The whole structure reminds me a lot of Persona, especially the combat areas work similar to Palasts. If they removed the Gacha shit and made it 70$ I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
I am ashamed to admit i searched “explaining honkai star rail to genshin players” but thank god i found this vid cuz now i understand a bit more and confirmed some stuff i thought was similar to genshin
Unlike genshin, the gameplay is actually really fun. However, everything else just ends up as the exact same (just improved for QOL and less grindy). From the UI, to the mechanisms, to even the story and world design. It's all just an amalgamation of genshin and honkai. It's just an overall QOL improvement and a turned based gameplay. The artifact grind and weekly bosses will still be there, but is far more managable due to the autobattler and 2x battle speed. The dailies are far easier to do, requiring only a minute, and can be done with no hassle, unlike in genshin where you had to deal with loading time and walking everywhere.
Watched this to make sure that my first experience conclusions were on point aaaaaand... they are xD thank you for uploading this I was pretty skeptical about the game because I was bored out of my mind with Genshin, but hoooooooooooly is this game fun. The dialogue and the interactions between the characters are hilarious. Especially the dialogue you get when the MC interacts with random shet, it's so funny. It's sooooooo nice to have the other characters react to your stupid choices instead of Paimon all the time The turn based combat feels great too. I still have yet to get some of those characters that do follow-up attacks. I feel like they can make some pretty sick teams. Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying the game as much as I do, bless bless.

It’s ideal that you pull on the standard banner after, since the chance of getting another 5 star is very low, and also the beginner pity doesn’t count to the standard banner.
Yes. I got Clara on my 1st ten pull then got Welt on my 50th pull on departure warp so I'm pretty sure the guarantee 5* still works even if you get an early
It depends, i got Welt on 5th pull and Bailu on 30th pull, so yeah it doesn’t guaranteed u to get more 5 stars while reaching pull 50 tho, so it’s advisable to stop pulling if u already got an early 5 star already
Pity works identical to Genshin on standard banner BUT reguardless of how many 5 stars you pull every 300 pulls you get to choose any of the Standard Banner 5 stars without any RNG, so it actually gave me a reason to pull on the standard banner which I wouldn't do in Genshin

A The Hunt character can be shown with a sword or a spear, it doesn't matter since its just animations. Paths are important through them determining what general class design is happening (this was more of an implied aspect of Genshin's characters), what light cones can be equipped (but these are not weapons and do not operate like them in several ways), and other bits are important like Simulated Universe mode buff choices. If you have a The Abundance character, you're not getting a certain weapon shown, you're just getting a kind of healer, and Light Cones for The Abundance are designed to assist with this kind of role. Say, Catalyst weapons in Genshin were more broad in role, whether for direct damage dealers or healers or debuffers etc etc. Light cones instead say directly "Oh, you're a healer, this will apply to you healer people." Thus we'll have bow users of every Path, because the 'bow' is purely a cosmetic aspect of the character. If you want a different look of the bow, it'll come along with a whole skin change/costume. Light cones do affect things in about half the way weapons in Genshin did, but they also do some things less (eg. doesn't change visuals), and some things more (affects ATK, DEF, HP stats).

Heizou and Yae Miko are catalyst users but use fists and staves respectively. Miyoho just made everyone a catalyst user in star rail, and assigned weapon types based on the role. Destruction is claymores, abundance is staves etc. This solves multiple problems, for example weapons being useless for characters of a different visual weapon type or forcing all characters into a single weapon type, not to mention the animation limitations, the inability to use signature weapons etc etc. It's just a better and cleaner overall solution, but the basic structure is still very much here.

nah, this game has actually been really good, the weapon banner doesnt suck, the relic system has a feature where you can salvage 5 star artifacts and with the material gotten, you can craft relics and choose the set, piece and main stat from it, it also has auto combat and 2x speed (tho auto combat doesnt work on bosses), also the commisions system has changed and takes way less time to do, characters are really cool design and gameplay wise and the story has been really interesting, as for the gameplay, alot of people are getting surprised by the gameplay, most of the people dont like turn based games but they are liking this one so this proves that honkai star rail is imo after all the things i mentioned, a good game that depending on the event and future content will stay for a long while
Think won’t be as successful as GI . But will be very successful in comparison with most recent games . In my case , I always loved 🥰 Turn base RPG’s the most .

Honestly 90% of the gacha/equipment/character upgrade/stores/items are identical to Genshin, it's impossible for a Genshin player to get lost

The thing is, this is Single player game, so no one cares about number of players at all, at least from player base.
