There are times in life when it feels like darkness will consume the light. Suffering. Loss. The emptiness that follows. At a distance, we can steel ourselves against the grim inevitabilities of disease, dementia and deterioration in old age, but when more intimately faced with their impact, it becomes easy to imagine some hidden demon gorging on the misery wrought. From such pain was birthed Urne’s savage second album ‘A Feast On Sorrow’.

God damned, the intro riff is now stuck in my head and i love it. Not a fan of modern day metal but i’m really liking this. Love the more simple visuals as well, great setting, nice colour on the vid. Good stuff

Is it me or is it safe to say that these dudes are heavily influenced by Mastodon. The guitar tones and sounds, though I like how this guitarist brings in more groove elements and two step chug riffage. This song and their new one The Burden, rip 🤘🎸🤘
Certainly big fans but I wouldn’t say a heavy influence for us.
But a great band to be compared too :)

@@shredhead4604it's the sludge in their sound, but there's more genres than that thrown in here, so maybe a little part of it sounds similar
