I had a PanoLock multi-point system installed with a Wi-Fi keypad. When the door is locked the center is not actually locked and if you depress the lever from inside or outside the center latch is depressed. So in reality it is only a 2 point locking system. My installer told me this is how it is supposed to work but I challenge that as it does not make sense to have 3 locking points if only 2 of them actually lock. I am curious if what I was told is accurate
I'd like to clarify how it differs from the original PanoLock. The PanoLock Plus has been redesigned to incorporate an electronic deadbolt that operates the top and bottom latches. This change was necessary to ensure the electronic mechanism works effectively, especially in retracting the latches without timing out. As a result, the center latch functions differently compared to the original version. It doesn't engage automatically with the electronic system. However, you can still secure the center point using a keyed knob or lever set, which will prevent the latch from being retracted.
Hi, I just had a door installed from Provia that came with Panolock+, and the center lock isn't locking? Any ideas? I haven't switched it over to a smart lock yet. Still riding dirty with an old school lock and key.
Did you figure this out? Can I just go to my Provia installer (looking at Embarq series) and send them the PanoLock plus smart lock system to install, as long as the lock is on the PanoLock list of approved smart locks?
@MadLadsAnonymous Haven't figured out my issue yet. I sent Pano lock an email. My Provia dealer isn't smart on lock. Their response is I've never seen this lock they are looking into it.

Thank you very much for your reply I appreciate the information.
