Royal Scot Conquers the S&C! 46100 Royal Scot on The Fellsman 2nd September 2020

- In this video we see the beastly 46100 Royal Scot take on the gradients of on the last Fellsman tour of 2020 from Crewe to Carlisle.
We start off at Winwick Junction 'Just north of Warrington' on the West Coast Mainline where we see 46100 accelerating away from a passenger pick up stop at Warrington Bank Quay making fine noise as she glistens in the sunlight, however this sunlight was short lived as bad weather was to come!
We then see the Scot accelerating through Bamber Bridge Station, powering away from Farrington Junction on her way towards Blackburn.
After Bamber Bridge it was a quick chase to Ramsgreave & Wilpshire where she is seen attacking Wilpshire Bank on the northbound climb towards the summit after a passenger pick up at Blackburn.
Then it was onto the magnificently beautiful Settle & Carlisle Line where we would capture Royal Scot making a fine attack on the long climb up to Blea Moor Summit just north of Ribblehead.
After around a four hour break it was time from what was a magnificent outward leg run it was time for the return leg at the popular location of Ais Gill as she is seen powering through all the bad wind and rain.
We then capture Royal Scot on the most challenging climb of the day, the 1 in 82 southbound climb of Wilpshire Bank. This time the tour was seen once again at Ramsgreave & Wilpshire however this time being on the station as she powers towards the summit of Wilpshire Bank.
As a last minute decision with fading light due to sun set we headed off to Euxton Balshaw Lane Station to capture the Scot once again on the WCML, this time powering away from a passenger drop off point of Leyland as the Scot passes through with ease as she heads towards Wigan North Western.
And finally the last shot of the day with Royal Scot speeding through Acton Bridge on the tours last section between Warrington Bank Quay and Crewe.
All and all a superb day chasing the wonderful 46100 Royal Scot with her superb performances throughout the day!
