It's a lure that's easy to rig, easy to fish, and inexpensive to have in your fishing arsenal. We discuss the basics of the swim jig, the trailers to use, and the gear to throw it on. Keep it simple and go with the most common size to purchase, a 1/4oz swim jig and pair it with a 5" curl tail grub. This combination will cost little money and will catch you bass.

Definitely a 7’ Med-Heavy rod. Works great with braided line .
