Superb ! It leaves an impression, as if such a timeless piece - could really be written just for this one, brilliant performance. ..It's almost, like hearing this composition "again, for the first time" !
I can whistle yankee doodle! ?! …
correction: Just wonderful.
Vielen dank! MAGNIFICENT! THANK YOU! PEACE AND BLESSINGS!
Oh Handel, I love you so much. This is superb.
Die Musik des Händels gefällt mir sehr. Das was ausgezeichnet! 🙂
Just wondered. Thank you so much.
Indescribable beauty

something indescribable
This performance’s splendor of words can not arrive
The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, sinfonia for two oboes and strings by George Frideric Handel was created in 1749 at London’s Covent Garden Theatre as part of his new Biblical oratorio into the first scene of Act III in the oratorio Solomon. This one is rarely performed in its entirety, but Handel’s bright and lively interlude The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba (in A major) is a widely appreciated processional set piece. In the Book of Kings, the Queen of Sheba travels from afar to visit the splendid court of King Solomon, arriving, as the bible mentions with a very great retinue, then camels bearing spices, and very much gold, and precious stones. Handel’s music admirably captures the excitement of a lavish state visit of an exotic foreign Queen, and first-night London audiences would have had no problem reading of Handel’s depiction and the coming of a compliment by their reigning monarch, King George II. Be like a good Prince in love with glory, and make a story of you. This King must have been a lover of art. *Lucien*
Wonderful performance 👏👏👏
It's one of the famous musics ever
In this performance,
all is full of far superior splendor amazing
This music embodies the Old Testament
What a versatile musician Handel was❗
God doesn't exist.
@@miro007istBut the Old Testament does. I have five editions.
You're right, the piece of music sounds quite comical.

To liven things up at my Daughter's wedding in 1998 I had this played as one of the preludes. I absolutely love this and it was so nice to be able to just relax in the joy of this music for the 3. 5 minutes (?) it was played! As I said I love this concerto! 🎼🎶🎵💕💖💕🎵🎶💕❤️💕

it awakens your senses!
Notable!!!!
Tremendous 😀🌟
I didn't know if I could handel this so early in the morning. Sheba is quite demanding but no worse than the other queens in the neighborhood.
I think I have this right: Beethoven saying basically that "I would knee at the grave of Handel." Pretty good recomendation for me!!
Great oboe playing!!!!
Perfektno.
Without Handel and his great performers and genius conductors such as these splendid performers and incomparable conductor ,
the classical music world would have been very lonely and insipid ,
and the enjoyment and pleasures of the classical music would have been less

After listening to this breathtaking performance ,
I might have a dream
It's a dream of the Queen of Sheba walking in the crowds of Jerusalem , talking to Salmon
I am a person who believes in reincarnation and the immortality of the soul
I was certainly seeing the Queen of Sheba and Salmon in the crowds of Jerusalem
That dream is the ultimate in bliss for me that deeply love and respect and long for Handel

Sorry, but Händel was a true believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the people of Israel. Read the holy word of the only God, the holy bible and get safe from the everlasting dead into the neverending life with our messias Yeshua Hamashiah, the lord of the lords and the king of the kings in eternity. God bless you 🙏
When our Japanese Emperor and Empress appear , I want their to play this masterpiece .

Bloody good. - and great actually to hear the wonderful opening line of the oboes for once.
2:42 This time, the oboes are not going to hand the lead back neatly - having too much fun, and the fiddles have to wrest back the theme.
But it's not nice to 'dead-name' people; it's Handel.
What the istrument that the womans are playing
rayff They are playing baroque oboes
Beethoven once said: Handel, to him I bow one knee
Händel once said: Beethoven? Never heard of him.
He wrote this at 63 if you can believe that

Handel holds an unchallenged position as an interpreter of the Old Testament
oboes should double...that is 4 instead of 2, it would give more punch.
The Queen of Sheba was fleet of foot.
Wonderful performance, but is it just me or are the oboes slightly out of tune?
It's just that they're baroque oboes
XD
I guess it is quite off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
Donald Trump s'interroge pour savoir qui est cet Haendel? Un basketteur ou un joueur de football américain ?😏
why bring up the name of the devil? do you understand that this is part of a suite (you see a soloist slowly moving in front of the stage at the end) and thus any applause is actually breaking protocol at that point.
