MHW: Iceborne PC | Glacial Demon (Frostfang Great Sword) vs Alatreon (Fire) | Solo 8'03 (TA Rules)

Nothing really good, just me immediately tried Frostcraft + Punish Draw w/ the new Frostfang Barioth GS, feels good, I like how the placements of ele topple into KO with this set. Playing better can get faster times ofc and yes, Safi GS with velk awaken is still stronger, but I specifically wanted to try the frostfang GS since the stats isn't that bad to fight alatreon. This set also isn't that deco heavy, just the handi4 and the others (tenderizer and critical non combo version) you can get pretty much on base world. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the run and the bangers as usual.

Much worse, 15% less affinity, no purple sharpness and about 10% less raw damage in exchange for a small bit of element and a single slot decoration.

How do you get a quest that lets you start in the camp? Mine all put me right in front of him.

You need to beat him in the special asignment once, after that you can start from camp on the event quest versions of the fight
