- This is probably and hopefully will be my last run against Fatalis with Great Sword.
I would like to say thanks to all the person that helped me reach this far and every GS runners in Fatalis for the foundation they built on the punish.

Hey I watch this a lot for my first solo run against this thing for tips. Insane gameplay man
recently picked up greatsword, and i'm using this video for practice---this is the cleanest run i've ever seen to date!

It's extremely good for beginners!

That's honestly why I like TAwiki rules as it's just you, your weapon and the monster. There aren't any scripts to run, it's just knowing the moveset and punishing everything you can efficiently. This has become my absolute favorite way to play, even just casually

sir i want to know 3rd phase opening.
In that position, true charge slash is garanteed? random? or garanteed by controlling angle in that position

For the phase 3 TCS opening, it's guaranteed as long as you timed, aim and position properly.
For the timing, you want to draw slash and input SCS when it hovers to the middle and prepare to tackle the roar into TCS.
For the aim, I project a straight line in between the legs and try to aim it there (There might be other ways but this is what I do usually).
For the position, you can stand in the top left corner of the rectangular shaped stone floor as you can see in 4:53 but it's not limited to that corner you can use other position as long as you're within the border of rectangle because Fatalis position sways and is not always the same. I just like that spot because it's the most consistent for me.
And do try to take the same route before the draw slash for more consistency.

whats the best greatsword build for general play? i see people recommending safi shattersplitter with velkhana essence, so you can use 2 piece fatalis for unlock secrets
Black Fatalis Blade (BFB), you can also use frostcraft (FC) with BFB.
It's just that people recommend safi because you're capped at 85% affinity on FC with 1 affinity augment on BFB and its easily mitigated with latent power.
It's very easy to proc latent power consistently on FC matchup like Fjang/Jang, Fatalis, Arch Tempered Velk and Alatreon especially Fatalis and Ice start alatreon
im sure ornitier moves like a fatalis now , since he knows his moves so much

I often try to position to counter the 360 fire attack but i always get hit when fatalis spins his head around.
I run to the opposite side of his head, attack the corner of his leg, slinger shot towards the corner, and then charge. Am i doing something wrong?
Hmm it's kinda hard to tell with just description alone because I don't know what's the "corner" you are referring to but if you have a example vid you can put the link here or send it to my discord.

Impressive! I was wondering, after the wall you seem to aim for the chest rather than the head, why is that?

There are some reason why in phase3 I go for the chest instead of the head
First is because Fatalis gets faster is phase3 so openings to snipe head becomes not feasible
Second is because going for the chest give me control over the chest flinch/break which I need it to bait the 360. 360 is the best opening for GS in 4 legs stance because after doing tcs, you're in position to bait another 360 and it can keep chaining it as long as the rng is good
Chest flinch/break is usually scripted in the 2nd nova, here are some example from other players for the scripted chest break/flinch with timestamp
