Lebanon and the cedars of Lebanon are mentioned in the bible . The cedars of Lebanon are mentioned in 46 bible verses. While Lebanon is mentioned 71 times in the holy Bible . Lebanon is the only real democracy in the Middle East and it’s the only country in the region that the first position the presidency has to be held always by a Christian. Lebanon is a beautiful country and a lot of Americans and western politicians and celebrities are originally Lebanese .

Nikola Perosevic go to a town called bsharré. The forest of the Cedars of Gid is near the town. Don’t forget to check also Qadisha valley, which means the holy valley.

Thank you for the video, very enlightening. A friend/family member has 9-10 Cedrus libani (Lebanon Cedar trees) they planted in 1970 but are now 100+ feet tall and want them cut down. It's sad seeing them turned into firewood so been asking them to hold off because maybe there's a better use for them. Any ideas?

Oh no. This is horrible crime . Cedars of Lebanon is the rarest among all of other cedar trees and they are the most beautiful beside it take tens of years until they grow up a few centimetres and to see a full tall grown tree is something overwhelming. He or she shouldn’t cut them off.

My father would like to see them harvested because they were planted too close to the house and are causing damage. They were planted as saplings in early 1970's and are now 110'+ tall.

@@raymollyraymolly722 Unfortunately, the trees are not native to the property because we planted them 40 years ago. Now they are too big for the property because the home is located in the city... and one of the trees already fell in a storm and it caused a lot of damage. I convinced my family to not just cut them down, but instead find someone who wants to properly harvest them. Still looking for a good a good contractor to do the job. Any suggestions about what I should do with the wood?

I suggest to put down the house and keep the trees 😂😂😂.
I guess sometimes we can’t do anything. I think you can sell the wood or you can ask a good carpenter to make something useful out of it and at the same time it will be a souvenir you can keep to remind you of these majestic Lebanese cedar tress.

Cedars are very aromatic and healing properties. In Taiwan they sell handsize chunks $40 each. Also there is a paid tour $35 each person with four hour hike to find a thousand year old cedar tree only to arrive and find it "sleeping" fallen down, but the medicinal aroma can be had just standing 10ft away from it. It is related to the Yew tree which traditional crafts make longbows out of. So much more esoteric truths to cedars, due diligence should be done before harvesting.

This tree must have been through wars, occupations and what not,, yet still the Lebanese could not achieve a plan to save their country the country of his highest God all mighty. Once in an existing time God called them the Cedars of God. That itself tells us that God once lived in Lebanon and he made his home among the Cedars and Phoenicia. My God destroy and vanish those who are trying to destroy this beautiful country. God will listen and will do accordingly.

Jennable Rose you are supposed to look at the tree and listen to what the man says. Bewilders me now you can be thinking of his zipper when you see a tree that has stood and seen so many generations.

People in the West didn't have their origins in the Middle East. Your ancestors were more likely to be hunting game and gathering nuts in Northern Europe than they were to be from the Middle East. Maybe quit believing that other people that had nothing to do with you and weren't part of your ancestory were actually your ancestory.
I do love these trees for historical and botanical reasons, though. That's why I came to this video. David was a biblical figure, but it remains to be seen if he existed or not.
