  • Salomon has revolutionized their QST lineup yet again, and we're not angry about it. With an all new modern shape, the QST 98 is changing how we think of an 98 underfoot ski.

Hey 👋 im 6.4 and interested in this Skin. I have been skiing for about 12 years now mostly only 1-2 weeks every year. I am mainly on the piste but want the versatility to go everywhere. And yeah I mostly don’t go full send. Should I go for the 183 or 189?
    Thank you

@@Sledhammer69 With the information you provided, we think the 183cm would be the better ski for you. The reason being that that the 183cm will be easier to ski but still retain that awesome performance the ski has where as the the 189cm will want to charge and may be harder to control. Considering you plan on maybe taking the ski anywhere on the mountain, having that short length will just make turning that much easier if you ever find yourself in tight situations.

@@Sledhammer69 That was good advice above and I think the 183cm would be fun and maneuverable, to my surprise the 189cm is easy turn at low speed. I just bought these last week, I'm 6'-3" and I'm so happy I went with this length. They feel stable on afternoon chop and so good on fresh groom and powder. We've had some great condition these past few days in the PNW (USA).

For a 25 years old male 179 cm and 70 kg who likes carving and a little bit au fun in the pow once in a while, would you recommend 176 or 183 cm? Thanks so much!

Considering the amount of tail and tip rocker on this ski, we’d recommend the 183cm!

Hi! What size would you recommend to a 181cm advance/intermediate skier (28yo and fit)? 176 or 183?
I´m also between this ski and the Line Vision 98. What do you think that are the main differences?
    Cheers from Spain!!

I would think the 176cm might not be enough ski for you. Because of it's deep rocker lines in the tip and tail, the ski actually feels shorter then what it really is when put on edge so the 183cm might make more sense. We don't carry the Vision 98 but from a bit of research, its lightweight build will definitely have a more playful side to it. The QST 98 can totally be thrown around in creative ways because of it's modern shape, but with a ski as light at the Vision, you're going to find it easier to bounce around on it.
