Brilliant mate. I like a nice clean job with the least amount of wires visible!

Thanks Tony. But, that was a simple job. Nothing like our and your beast. What did you think of my diy wire washer?

could you explain in more detail what you did with the controller to get the light to work the way it does? I want to do the same modification for my bike.

Hi Timothy, this is a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to the kt controlles, the reason being.
Not all of the kt controllers have an output on the board for a trigger to switch the fet on.
This process requires you remove the controller and cockpit controller as you need to probe the pcb while switching the light function and off.
You have to look for a high/low pulse to occur when switching on and off.
Also, some of the controllers have an inverted signal, the signal will switch from 5V to ground and vica versa.....
You'll have to adapt your fet to the output signal.
      Hope this helps.

i dont like a display on my bike. It is useless and only another thing that can breake...........a display on a bike can be verry dangerous, because you have to pay attention at the road and not on an dispay

Problem is, you can't switch the KT controllers on or off or do anything without the display, so, instead of adding more stuff to clutter the cockpit make use of what you have. But, to each his own. thanks for watching.

@@GapRecordingsNamibia youre problem is, that you dont know how to switch an KT on, without a display. It is verry simpl. You only have to connect the blue cable called VCC or DM to the red one which is battery plus. And for lightning you should use a seperate circuit, which is safer. But first try to find out wich connections go to high voltage when you swicht the KT on, using a display. It is so easy.......Logically every controler can set to work without display, but some guys seem to need a display for everything.......if you are not able to do this, then throw the KT to garbage and by another standart controller for 12 bugs wich has the orange line or something else...all that stuff can be reed on YT or els where
