I don't see how flops like Oregon just played happen. You know the team is reeling. Buy time. Try and just get 1st downs. Don't go for homeruns. Hold on to the ball until the team gets their feet underneath them. Know who your key motivational key players are. Have them slap the other players around. GET IN THEIR HEADS.

Yep. Them ND boys were scared that game against the Tide. You saw when they both entered at the entrance to the field and the look in ND boys eyes were very big when they saw bama. Texas in 2009 was a blowout too.
@Byrd21590 What. AL led by 3 with 5 minutes to go. TX had a freshman QB that turned it over 5 times himself. 2 happened in last 5 mins. TX wins that game if Colt doesn't go down 5th play of the game.
7:00 The Ohio state Clemson game was funny cuz they put OSU in over Penn state despite PSU being 11-2 and having a win over OSU, just for Ohio state to get humiliated
OSU was 11-1 and barely lost, on the road, to PSU. It was their only loss while PSU lost 49-10 to Michigan AND lost to Pitt. So the committee made the right call regardless of what happened later.
Yea as an Osu fan I was happy we snuck in but I knew we didn’t deserve that shit PSU was on fire in the 2nd half of the season Trace and Saquon were deadly
Though I wasn’t big into MSU football at the time, the underlying injury to Connor Cook gave us very little hope. Hell of a Big 10 Championship that year tho
That was a good game though- yes the underdog won which is crazy, but it was close, and the reason it was close were some bad calls taking back touchdowns, a goaline fumble, and 2 pick 6s which were very uncommon for Michigan obviously. Crazy game.
31-0 was definitely humiliating, but not exactly surprising. JT Barrett was not a good passer and everyone knew the whole offense was the run game (JT Barrett and Mike Weber) and Curtis Samuel. you shut down those 3 guys, and there's no threat remaining. the defense played pretty well - it was just the offense was incompetent I honestly think FSU in 2014 had to be the most humiliating. even though it wasnt a shutout and it was close for a half, the way they completely unraveled and straight up quit was humiliating. they were also the defending national champions with tons of talent on a 29 game win streak. they had awful turnovers, terrible defense/offense, the infamous Jameis Winston fumble, and the whole team just fell apart so quickly. it wasnt even like they came into the game lackluster, they just fell apart midgame OSU was simply not that good and exposed, but while FSU also was simply not that good that year and exposed, the way they just completely fell apart and shit the bed was the most humiliating performance
@clearlycaribbeanreb2895 it shouldntve been a shutout, but it's really not surprising. Once it was clear all OSU could do was run or throw to Samuel, it was pretty easy defense for Clemson from there...

Nothing will ever trump the 44-16 beat down Clemson out on that arrogant Tua led Bama team.
I always tell people, the really good games are the ones you remember. I completely forgot about the Bama vs MSU game because it was a blowout.
31-0 was 100% because of our OC this game is the reason why Ryan day got hired as OC
definitely not deserving, but ohio state tennessee should be a candidate. tennessee fans talked so much smack on ohio state just yo play a goose egg
Really? all ive heard since these playoff started is about how the SEC is overrated and B1g fans being the instigators.

Oregon vs Florida State in the 2014-15 Rose bowl should be on this list
I remember watching this game, I’d never seen a team collapse like FSU did in this one
31-0 is the reason that Ohio State hired Ryan Day in the first place lol
Uh, no it's not. We went on to a 12-2 record in 2017 and a 13-1 record under Meyer in his last season in 2018.
@@williamjones3615I believe he is referring to why OSU hired him as the OC, which I personally agree with him
@@krispykrunch5154 He was hired because Meyer stepped down (wasn't fired) and Meyer was the one who suggested Day as his replacement.
@@williamjones3615 other commenter is right. I was referring to how OSU hired Day to fix the offense after 2016, not as HC.
@@williamjones3615 Urban Meyer stepped down because he would have been fired for reasons unrelated to his performance as a coach.
How about Alabama losing to Vandy, Michigan, and most embarrassing Oklahoma

The amount of shit MSU fans talked before that game, jesus. Their expectations of the program trajectory afterwards, hilarious.

no mention of oregon florida state?
I predicted it haha. That game was hilarious too
No LSU beating Oklahoma 63-28?
Thought the same thing
They get a pass because that might be the best team in cfb history
Which is crazy. At the time people were saying OU matched up with LSU better than Clemson than they did with Clemson and Ohio State. They were wrong.
That was more than a beatdown.
Michigan losing to TCU is the top of the list and it’s not even close!
Well, 2 controversial calls that were supposed to be touchdowns screwed Michigan over.
That was a good game though- yes the underdog won which is crazy, but it was close, and the reason it was close were some bad calls taking back touchdowns, a goaline fumble, and 2 pick 6s which were very uncommon for Michigan obviously. Crazy game.
TCU got two pick sixes, goal line stop, and a TD revered before a fumble. Plus 51-45 was a close score so no

Ohio state missed 3 FGs before Clemson crossed the fifty. It should have played out much differently. The film doesn’t lie.
