- Drawing on approaches from person centered planning, community development, social anthropology and current social research in Wales I pose the question: What is social exclusion, and what are the costs of not having an inclusive society?
Vikki is currently a senior research and policy officer for Barnardo's Cymru, designing and managing commissioned and grant funded research at national and local authority level, and undertaking a policy influencing role, within the Welsh political context, on behalf of the charity as well as an alumni of the Welsh Crucible programme for future research leaders 2012.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
I was once told by a friend that she doesn't want to talk to me because she was told by other peers not to. I helped her in studies but then when she said that it was really hurtful. I felt excluded and also never had the same positive feelings for her.
