I have the answer for your question two years later I either put the blanket to my shoulders and let the toes out, sleep with the blanket in the weirdest positions possible (like half of the blanket in my body half outside of the bed) or just don't sleep with a blanket at all
I find this funny because I'm short and my husband is super tall and because I love to cocoon myself and I noticed he couldn't I literally crocheted him a blanket big enough for him to do so... He actually loves it.
0:22 I kinda fucking wondering these things sometimes except with how do short people sleep at night except you're nice and comfortable under a warm blanket and several hours later, you end up waking up only with a blanket covered from feet to your legs or you don't have it on you anymore kinda like Kirby when he sleeps in his bed and doesn't have a blanket on him or that one fucking camera angle in South Park with Stanley. Kinda happens mostly if you're trying to sleep in a panel bed (a bed that has the headboard but doesn't have the frontboard)
