That just comes off as extremely nitpicky. As for midir, no he doesn’t have the most health. Sister friede has 18,887, demon prince has 21,135, and gael arguably has more considering midir gets staggered near the end of the fight that takes a massive chunk of his healthbar, so realistically he only has around 14,000 which barely puts him in the top 5 highest healthbars in the game. Thats not even mentioning the fact that he’s one of the last bosses in the game, so it’s even more justifiable that he has a seemingly big healthbar. Next, complaining that he takes no damage outside of the head is also a really odd complaint. Are bosses not allowed to be centered around weak points? Your argument falls even shorter when you realize that nearly every move he does puts him in a position where he’s directly facing you, so you’re guaranteed hits after basically every move as long as you don’t get scared. Also mentioning dark weapons is not a great complaint because every boss can be fought with a broken sword and, by your logic, they would be bad fights because you have a weapon that they’re resistant to. Definitely not true. Bloodborne has a lot of bad fights in the base game but I don't think there's a single base game ds2 fight as good as gascgoine or even gehrman. Malenia is not well balanced as a fight. The life steal in phase 1 makes the fight boring to get through because it could literally be removed and it would do nothing but make the fight better.
This is definitely a streamer tier list, zero impact given to spectacle or anything besides melee and how impressive it is to memorize doges. Its kinda strange though, this dude has literally zero nostalgia, O&S is a legendary fight now and forever.
Putting fire giant above rennala is crazy. Other than that the list is good. Maybe maliketh is top tier but those are the only things I'd really change.
Wouldn't say malekith is top tier. His first phase is borderline garbage with how unbalanced the boss speed is in comparison to the player and it probably has the worst instance of a lingering hitbox in elden ring.
One thing I appreciate about Demon's Souls is how different so many of the bosses are. What they lack in moveset they make up for in varied methods of taking them down. Not all of them are successful but that's the price one pays for innovations. Armor Spider has a nice flow. Getting in is one phase, doing damage, then getting back out. Rinse repeat.
Sir Alonne and Fume Knight sharing tier with Ishinn, Malenia, Gael and the rest is the wildest thing about this tier list ngl and putting them above Genichiro is diabolical
They kind of deserve it tbh. Even after all the souls games, Fume knight is still a fun and challenging boss and his way of fighting is unique, and Alonne was probably the predecessor of Sekiro bosses and bosses like Malenia.
Malenia is wildly overrated. I swear to god people only glaze her because she's "waifu material". Her first phase is literally a pseudo-gimmick Boss carried by the singular most clownish attack From has ever designed.

Definitely not true. Bloodborne has a lot of bad fights in the base game but I don't think there's a single base game ds2 fight as good as gascgoine or even gehrman. Even Ebrietas is a good fight and I think the video kinda overplayed the camera issues because they were really not as big for this fight.
@@Sephirothkingdom782 you’re perfectly entitled to your opinion and I somewhat agree with you for the most part but I personally liked dark lurker more than anything in base game bloodborn for sure and think smelter and lost sinner atleast are on par w most of bloodborn base game
@@TheAwesomePal I think smelter demon is missing the lore, atmosphere, and music that makes BB's fights stand out. He has a good moveset but I don't think that's enough to be a great fight especially in a souls game IMO.
Dark lurker sure I can see that, it's a solid fight and has a good atmosphere too.
@@Sephirothkingdom782 bloodborne atmosphere and combat systems are a leap ahead of ds2, but man the fucking camera is painfully bad and ruins a lot of the experience
Dragon God is horrible 😭
ivory king not being a masterpiece is an L oppinion
You mean Ivory King and 50 Loyce knights?
@@utkuaydn8570 at least Malenia is honorable and fights you 1 vs 1 without bullshit knights.
Even the 1v1 isn’t a masterpiece and then you add the boring pre fight skirmish and it gets worse
It’s a good boss but massively overrated. The charred loyce knights drag it down a lot
@@DrJones0801True but it was criminally low tho. It's still pretty cool ngl id put it in good or amazing for me but I think good is more objective imo.
Penetrator surprised me, that boss is waaay too weak for that point in the game
and he stuns with almost every hit, very easy
yeah but he's cool and a boss doesn't have to be brutally hard to be good.
This tier list is a Masterpiece! 5/7
7/10
6/10
Malenia as masterpiece is so justified. Every time I start a ng+, she's the only one I want to fight again.
Most remembrance bosses in ER are really good imo, that’s where the game clearly spent the most of its time/resources and peaked, the only issue with ER is outside of legacy dungeons and remembrance areas the high kind of runs out, not that bosses are awful, dragonkin, magma wyrms, crucible knights, leonines, etc are all fun fights, but they are clearly not at the same tier as the others, not that this is a major problem, you can’t make every boss a home run but, at times in my first few runs it kinda just felt like I’d kill a super fun/unique/stylish boss that’s well balanced and then bully a bunch of minibosses before the next one
@@anonymousmink5027 yeah I can get behind this argument. I love the open world aspect too but I think if FromSoftware makes another open world, making it smaller is the way to go. A more unique type of open world in contrast to the huge and sometimes repetitiveness of other open worlds
Malenia is not well balanced as a fight. The life steal in phase 1 makes the fight boring to get through because it could literally be removed and it would do nothing but make the fight better.
She is the only boss i avoid every time😂. Not fun
Based opinion 🍷🗿
Demon of Hatred enjoyers are sages with taste
Demon of hatred is goated
This is definitely a streamer tier list, zero impact given to spectacle or anything besides melee and how impressive it is to memorize doges. Its kinda strange though, this dude has literally zero nostalgia, O&S is a legendary fight now and forever.
Lmfao buddy wants nostalgia points
It's like a robot ranking other robots.
I never knew about plunging attack on ancient wyvern and killed it by attacking its feet. It took quite awhile.
Putting fire giant above rennala is crazy.
Other than that the list is good. Maybe maliketh is top tier but those are the only things I'd really change.
The bottom tiers aren’t in order. I don’t think fire giant is better than rennala
@@youwy that's my bad.
Wouldn't say malekith is top tier. His first phase is borderline garbage with how unbalanced the boss speed is in comparison to the player and it probably has the worst instance of a lingering hitbox in elden ring.
Rennala is an annoying fight
@@Sephirothkingdom782no just no phase one is honestly better than every single boss prior to ds3 and none of his attacks don't have punish windows
Ivory King is best fight in DS2, easy masterpiece. Great mechanically and lorewise, fun, and with a lot of spectacle, what else can you ask for?
Sir Alonne and Fume Knight sharing tier with Ishinn, Malenia, Gael and the rest is the wildest thing about this tier list ngl and putting them above Genichiro is diabolical
They kind of deserve it tbh. Even after all the souls games, Fume knight is still a fun and challenging boss and his way of fighting is unique, and Alonne was probably the predecessor of Sekiro bosses and bosses like Malenia.
This guy’s opinions are better about weapons than bosses
Fume Knight is one of the best bosses ever made, and you're a casual if you think otherwise
Malenia is wildly overrated. I swear to god people only glaze her because she's "waifu material".
Her first phase is literally a pseudo-gimmick Boss carried by the singular most clownish attack From has ever designed.
@@HopefulNihilist exactly. She and Friede are accepted for the same reason.
If they gave poor Morgott all of these gimmicks people will be mad, but because it's rot mommy, they accepted it.
If you put Malenia S tier i am gonna touch you
Malenia without the waterfowl and her life steal is an S tier, argue me if you disagree.
@@VSN-wb2ly Yes i agree with that, but she is not without it so what now?
@@ragenaros4475 idk, I don't understand why this guy put malenia on the top tier either
@@VSN-wb2ly he explained it quite well actually, its a hard fight yes, but its quite learnable, plenty of openings, theres just less room for error, shes a fantastic boss fight
Not sure i agree with Midir ranking that high tbh.
I think it's a pretty annoying dragon fight with way too much hp unless you hit a very specific spot = head.
Demon Prince is pretty good, but masterpiece? Idk about it.
Saying Placidusax is boring is a steaming hot take
Radagon has the coolest grab attack on Fromsoft history.
Mesmer, elden beast and malenia have way cooler grabs
Malenia grab better
Y'all have never been hit by the Ayre grab

No way he put rennala, arguably the best attempt at a mage boss and a great spectacle into bad…
Best mage boss maybe, that doesn’t mean she’s a good boss overall. She’s definitely not annoying first phase and highly cheeseable easy second phase. Still a cool mage fight tho definitely
@@jaioncebollero1168 He put blue smelter above Rennala, this is a travesty
Darklurker's fight in Dark Souls 2 is better for me than Rennala's, since his fight is a wizard's fight, he provides a much greater challenge than Rennala
@@jaioncebollero1168 It has none of the qualities of a bad boss. It is not tedious as she is super staggerable and squishy as a boss. All of her projectiles can be safely strafed and just really baffling as to how she’s not at least a B tier boss.

pretty good except the father gascoigne glaze. geherman way better.
Maria and Kos are amazing bosses to practice Parrying on if nothing else.
You dont even know what youre saying for some of these . You put abyss watchers in amazing and then said nothing but negative things about it 😂
I want to like ivory king... but that start with the knights is so trash
😂😂😂😂 thats a joke
Hard disagree on Morgott. He is a snooze fest even underleveled
Where is demon from below and demon in pain?
They're in masterpiece tier. Just watch the video.
36:59 Ok Kendrick
Sekiro+ fair 1v1= masterpiece
Gherman not being a perfect masterpiece is madness. Perhaps you’ve been consuming too much Madman’s Knowledge?
The hyperarmor in phase 2 kinda ruins it a little bit and you have to fish for parries because you can't trade blows when he has that hyperarmor. The first phase is really good.
Tbh dude could've been alot harder
Artorias belongs in the masterpiece tier
Bro why put mergo above ebritas
Love how you wasted alllll this time ranking them only to in the end admit that it's still largely alllll about rng lol. Cross your fingers the elden beast doesn't swim a lot and it's one of the best fights. If not though.... F this game lol
Next time turn of your stream chat😭
Even after going through bloodbornes dlc multiple times I still hate Ludwig, his fight isn’t that good, I feel that people base their opinions on the ost and not the fight
Phalanx bad? Ban me mods.
his argument for bed of chaos being the worst isnt cuz of the gameplay design...but cuz they turned her into a fucking tree. XD. i agree with that. dragon god actually looked scary and badass. this giant tree is just so boring to look at which is made worse by the fact u will die by falling thru the ground and have to repeat it a bunch of times.
Man Elden Ring bosses get no respect. Put bosses like Ancestor Spirit and Astel into DS3 and everyone would call them amazing.
idk what hes on about the bloodborne bosses and camera problems. i only notice camera problems when im being WAY too aggressive. Just dash in get your attacks and dash out problem solved...
I haven't played demon souls or Sekiro yet so I'm skipping em lol
I'm not going to agree or disagree because everybody's entitled to their opinion and will have different experiences instead I'm going to list some of my favorites
Crossbreed Priscilla-i really like her lore and the boss fight wasn't too bad
Knight Artorias the Abysswalker-i love his lore the design his introduction his attacks don't feel like bs he's one of my all time favorites
Abyss Watchers-similar reasons to Artorias and I thought some of the mechanics and the attacks were cool
Maliketh the Black Blade-essentially my Artorias of Elden Ring
I'mma say Aldia as well he was cool
And Sister Friede she was also cool no pun intended
Pontiff I enjoyed as well
Lothric and Lorian as well
And Malenia and Radahn
I haven't played much of Bloodborne so I won't have any from there either
Laurence is literally a reskin of the cleric beast with FIRE ATTACKS. Oh and you fight him in Amelia's arena sooooo.... All of the same criticisms apply?
Laurence nice!
Lothric Masterpiece less go!
Genichiro supremacy!
Renalla bad fr
Fortissax ost goated
if u do dlc put messmer in masterpiece and bayle in amazing/masterpiece 🙏🙏
kinda terrible list
Laurence might be the most bullshit boss we ever had Malenia may have one singular more bullshit move but it’s like The Beach Boys/Beatles argument where Pet Sounds is better than any Beatles album but Beatles have a better discography (don’t rly agree with that statement tho white album ftw) but replace “albums” with “dumb horseshit”
"Soulsborne" LMFAO who the F came out with that BS?

I guess i need to replay Elden Ring the game as a whole is a masterpiece but i found boss fights forgettable and most of them for me would be meh some good and maybe one amazing.
Brat Simpson was there having a mental meltdown when Youwy was praising Sekiro lol.
Replace the "meh" with "average", i think meh/mid is a strong word that has been negativity impacted
was good til ds3
I think you should give more weight to innovation. Especially in the demons souls bosses since they were basically the firs of their kind. Old monk for example.
In my opinion Dark Souls 3 is the most overrated From Software game! But still great!
