- Former Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman creates new tunes as Father John Misty. We explore his musical alter ego in advance of his show at First Fridays at the Natural History Museum. Hear it on Morning Becomes Eclectic. Watch / Listen to the full session here: www.kcrw.com/mu...
I love this song so much. The live versions really do it justice with the build in the guitar. He has such a great ear for music when he gave the countdown and dont even talk about his songwriting. Flawless. What a cool band
man, tillman has an incredible voice.
People saying FJM is a "tool"....you are the tools. The whole idea of FJM is a parody of himself. He realized at some point (playing solo as Josh Tillman and also with Fleet Foxes) that he was taking himself and his music way too seriously that people were tired of it, so this album/act is all about him just flying his freak flag and not giving a ____ about anything. His banter with the crowds at live shows is hysterical. All of the funny dancing aside, he's an incredibly gifted musician. The entire album is a winner from start to finish, but don't take it so serious, that's not the point.
That funny dancing probably gives him no problems when it comes to getting laid. Haters gonna hate :)
I love this song but he does give TOOL lmaoooo
A great song and J. Tillman has such good presence it's hard for me to imagine him stuck behind a drum set!
this is like church and acid
I keep coming back to this video just to watch the bass player dance. Anyone else feel cheered up when they watch this?
Of course , how could u not …. And w such killer lyrics and tune … he never does me wrong
Thank you drugs for bringing us this performance.
Great song. And the bass player is just GROOVIN' !! Haha . .
I love the feel of this song. And Father J actually has a beat!
that bass guy is having a blast haha
I seriously love his dance moves.
Hyde from that 70's show on vocals,Lemmy from Motorheard on drums, McLovin on Lead Guitar, bass guy........I got nuthin
Bass player is a pure genius (Jeff Ramuno is his name I believe). Check out his band, Jefferttiti's Nile. It's way way out there but amazing if you are in the right state of mind. Midnight Siren is my favorite song of his.
FJM and Jefferttiti together is almost too much talent on one stage for the world to handle. Have seen them both live (FJM played drums for Jefferttiti's Nile to open, and the FJM headlined at a small club with Jeff on the bass as usual). It was fan-blanking-tastic.
Thanks for recommendation, lisened, good stuff
Great performance boys.
This album really has a nice sound. Really motivates me. Glad to see people in the comment section are not pissed and arguing. I love that. Keep it up. Where I grew up it was cool to want to hurt people. I listen to Indy music cause i never wanna go back to that.

I don't care what people think of FJM or even the crazy (awesome) bassist....this song is AWESOME.
Haters. Vocals are better than the album on this performance. Bass player, keep digging don't listen to these people.

pure enigma, he owns it live , what the fuck do these critics hear that I can't?
This album really does have a great sound. It motivates me. I like the Indy bands comments on you tube. It seems like less people are hateful and mean. Keep it up guys. Thanks for the post.
