I think I'm starting to get what this series is really about - how people respond to abuse (and also what makes people abuse people in the first place). In Love Eat, the response was to become an abuser and continue the cycle. In this, Love Kitty, its to accept the abuse as a form of love. Both songs show someone who have absorbed lessons from their abusers, but they respond to it in very different ways. This song also directly mentions grooming, which is a fun cat pun, but also points to the theme of conditioning in these songs.
I also want to say, I don't think it matters much if Neiro was intially into it or became conditioned during the relationship to be into it (though I do think it makes more sense with the theming to be the second one). Because either way, Bianca is taking advantage of a mentally unwell person and abusing them. She hits him with a wine bottle in Love Cat, and even IF they were both into doing stuff like that, there are undoubtly safer and less dangerous ways to indulge in that. I find the question of "Did he want it?" to be somewhat pointless, because either way Bianca is still abusing him in a really dangerous way. Breaking bottles on people is no joke - that can kill people!
in my opinion, i feel like this isnt neiro anymore, its a whole new person bianca made out of him, its crazy because innthe first song, he was trying yo run away, got caught, beaten, and he finally submit himself. This went on and on to the point where he snaps and well, this song.

I love the contrasts between “love cat” and “love kitty” in this one you can see how he’s become completely obsessed with her. Almost as if he was just completely tamed. And it’s very interesting how the wording in love cat refers to him as “kitty” (I hope I’m not misinterpreting this) as he’s being groomed, and now they’re both completely obsessed. The way the themes and songs connect to each other is very well done, nice job!

I kinda disagree with those who said he's into it or that he's a freak. It feels more like he either has stockholm syndrome or he's trama bonding. From the fact that at first he tried to run away in the first song and then get beaten constantly (and by this I don't think he was cheating to get beaten on purpose, because if he actually did it on purpose, then why did he become so tamed at the end of the first song? He would keep on cheating or do something to make her jealous)
This song feels more like someone who's already broken and has no more desire to do anything other than depending on her and be her kitty. He has no thought of cheating or escaping, it seems like he's alreading losing his mind.
Poor guy is the victim.
Yeah if this isn’t mind break then I don’t what is. From a character perspective though he’s really interesting. Everything about him from him greeting Bianca at the beginning to his design shows how absolutely broken he’s become and it’s actually amazing. I really hope people can appreciate how much of a twist this song was while also acknowledging how tragic his character is.
Edit: I just noticed your other question about the cheating- I can see it either way tbh. The character sheets said he would even cheat while you were getting groceries (?) which implies he’s done it a bunch of times before. It can be taken as him trying to run away, or he’s doing it on purpose to get beaten up. Maybe he wants both sides of Bianca: her when she’s mad and abusive and her when she’s nice and caring which is why he lets himself be “tamed”, at least for a little while. Of course it’s all just personal interpretation and I honestly like the cheating on purpose theory more because it adds more to the complexity of his character.
yeah i am surprised that anyone is saying he's a freak because he looked so ailed and helpless in the first song. this behavior was groomed into him, bianca made him into the lover she wanted until he had no individuality or independence left to him. he can't go outside without bianca, he doesn't want to leave her cage anymore, and he welcomes her back so passionately?? he had this behavior literally beat into him, imo this is worse than the relationship portrayed in loveit? because at least there were winners in that relationship--they were so toxic that they were perfect for each other. this relationship has a clear victim
I don't think he did it to get beaten, but rather to get her attention. Like, he does love her and wants to be loved by her but Bianca is actually insane and abusive.

前回の愛猫のラスサビで反抗的にビアンカの首に手をかけながらネイロが泣いてたけど、多分ネイロ本人が寂しがりやで、その性格ゆえに浮気を繰り返して、最終的に「ビアンカが居ないと生きていけない」ということを悟って堕ちたんだろうなと考察。
それはそうと2番がbizさん歌唱だと知ってテンション上がってしまった。
パートを二人で担当することで、ネイロが心境の変化から別人になったみたいで好き。
愛猫では浮気をしている彼だったけど構ってほしくて浮気をしていている感じだったから、初めから彼女ちゃんからの愛しか求めてなかった、って感じ。 最高！！！！！！
猫って飼い主が居ないと生きていけない飼われてる側だけど、犬みたいに飼い主に媚びるようなことは一切しないし、飼い主に嫌なことをされることをされればすごく嫌がる。

ok. honestly, this song is just as incredible as the last, obviously, no one was killed, so this is a story of "what if the abuse kept happening" and honestly, gonna get a slight bit personal here, you captured that almost perfectly, i would know, cause i was genuinely able to connect to that song, like, to the point i was going "why do i understand what they mean?" this song was just as amazing, i mean, it shows you that grooming doesn't only affect kids or minors but can also affect adults, which is a incredibly important message as the last three songs, and honestly, for that, i genuinely applaud you!

After rewatching both videos, heres my conclusion: BIANCA RUINED HIM. (i tried my best)
The verses ''Staring contest, its obvious, you're manic. Why? Its your punishment, self-loathing. Youre my one and only love cat, you know?'' just screams how manipulative her words are as she's about to beat him up with a bottle as he backs away in fear.
After she hits him, she's shocked and seems to regret it. But at the same time, the screen shows how she uses the fish in a string to hypnotize him, repeating ''You will gradually find yourself growing fond of me.'' That same string is seen at the end of this video(''Dear Bianca''). This entire video is his response to her(as stated in the description), specifically where the boy says ''You and me, Meow. Im your cat.'' as if answering her words.
Upon analyzing both videos as much as i could, her constant work on him is obvious:
-BOTH VIDEOS BEGIN WITH ''Welcome back. Meow to you.'' he got that from her.
-Her telling him ''Even if you turn away, its alright. You're my one and only love cat.''
-I would also like to point out that after beating him up, we can see her embracing him while he doesn't face her, hiding, even, the verse ''Please love me.'' being sang. At the beginning(?) of the relationship he does not return her twisted love, he does not reciprocate and instead hides.
-Eventually, we go to the part where ''Please love me.'' is repeated, this time the boy saying it. She is surprised for a second, he reciprocated FOR THE FIRST TIME. As she sees this, she grins as she (my take) seems pleased that her manipulation is working. He is slowly, if not already, in her grasp. (Also both of their pupils dilate in this part..🐱)
-''You cant run away, silly thing. I want unconditional love, love me.'' Their love is unconditional, selfless. She tells him that he can't escape now that she has him, she's in full control.
-''I want love so bad, i could cry my throat out.'' Finally, this song is the result. He is addicted. He needs her, constantly begin for her love and affection, to play with him.
THE CAGE.
She says how he is stuck in a cage (''In a cage, my beloved cat.'').
1:27 ''I'm scared. I can't step outside the cage anymore. I cant live without you.''
Also, im not sure if this means something, but when the boy was about to kiss the other girl in the first video, the wall is decorated with frames containing a rabbit, a bird, a snake, a fish... animals that a cat can kill. And then, Bianca barges into the room, her pupils sharp, staring at her prey. Maybe she loves cats so much she decided to ''turn'' him into one, to make him BEHAVE like one.
I wanted to point this out since thats the only moment where other animals that arent cats are seen. I cant help but wonder if the girl (or any other girl that he couldve possibly been with) is represented as an animal a cat can get rid off.
Last but not least- Bianca has cat-like eyes since the beginning. The boy remains with a human look until this video, where his mouth is more cat-shaped. I am certain that this is intentional to showcase their cat behaviour.

This song seems very obvious in its meaning. After he was beaten and abused into submission, he copes by convincing himself that its what he wanted.
Its similar to Love Eat- its showing how they cope with what happened.

Actually in love Eat its very much the guy being the manipulator, while here the guy is being manipulated which falls in line with the parallels between the songs
I want to preface this by saying I still completely agree with you and how the theme of this song is how victims of grooming can end up loving their groomer and taking their abuse as love to cope. I just wanted to give my own thoughts:
I think the reason why people are saying that is, or at least what I hope is the case, just poor wording. It’s known that this is a _very_ unhealthy relationship, it’s more just surprise that the story went into this direction because most people assumed he would try to run away or express his suffering. But it’s important to make the distinction regardless.
For the song story-wise, (and this is just my interpretation) it’s not the fact that he was into it since the beginning- as you said Bianca obviously groomed and beaten him into this relationship which made him believe he wanted it to feel better, but I think at some point in their relationship what he’s saying in this song is genuinely true.
Her abuse and love-bombing made him extremely codependent. He worships her, does anything for a scrap of attention, and constantly mentions how much he craves her love and needs her; to the point where if you didn’t listen to LoveCat you’d think he was the toxic one.
Of course that’s not true, and Bianca is 100% the abuser and her actions shouldn’t be chalked up to “Oh it’s fine because he actually wanted it the whole time”. But this song shows that because of his now twisted view of “love” both of them are feeding into the worst parts of themselves and are going to continue this batshit insane relationship until they destroy themselves one way or another. It’s kind of despairing that way knowing that he’s definitely not going to leave her and continue being groomed, and how his story probably isn’t that far from reality.
TLDR; People are making those comments because they’re shocked by the guy’s perspective (I hope) and this song is so much more messed up when you realize just how depressing his character is.

サビにｶｶｶｯってクラッキング音みたいなの入ってるけどクラッキングって猫の狩猟本能から来る興奮によるものでさらに狩猟に慣れてない子猫や飼い猫しかやらないらしく、ネイロ君が本格的に飼いならされてること(または子猫のようにあどけないこと？)、愛による本能的な興奮を抑えられないことが表されてるのかなって思った。
今回もまた関わってるメンツが本当に天才すぎて......bizさん、ZERAさん、くろうめさん、Pandaさん、石塚陽大さん......なんじゃこの神メンツ......愛猫で散々洗脳させられた男の子の、女の子に対する依存と執着がこの飼猫で全面に出ててほんと沼なんよな......ところで、飼い猫って人間(飼い主)のことを大きな猫だと思ってるって話あるよね。...今回歌詞に "ほら子猫ちゃん" "檻の中2人" "キミと僕でニャオ" とか、女の子側のことも猫だって表現してる歌詞が何個かあるし、こればかりは勘違いだったら申し訳ないんだけど、もしかしたらここの歌詞の意味もそういうことなんかね。んーっ、もう大好き。

今作の「飼猫」でのネイロ君は前作みたいに女の子のことを怯えているような感じはないし、寧ろこっちがビアンカちゃんを管理してもいいんだぞって感じの強さがありますが、そこを差し引いてビアンカちゃんの管理下にいる感じが好きです……

this song is amazing! imo, i think bianca broke niero to the point he is dependant and he loves her. also in the song, he is covered with a bunch of plasters and hes terrified of going outside, maybe he doesnt want her to taken away because a civilian might report him to the police and when they found out about his gf doing all of this, they will take her away? i mean its mentioned in the lyrics saying he can't live without her. he only enjoys it due to the fact that the abuse might have changed the way he reacts to his abuse. also, the gag on him during the music video, its shows that she has been silencing him to the point he gave up on trying to tell people about his abuse which is why the gag is taken off? either way, he probably wouldn't tell anyone due to the fact bianca tramautised him and he's terrified of her.

髪の伸び具合を見るに「愛猫」から結構な時間が経っていて長い間監禁されてる
歌詞の「逃げられない依存」から監禁された子に見られるストックホルム症候群を引き起こしていて飼い主の事を怖く思うどころか依存を起こしてしまっている
「愛猫」の中で頭を瓶で殴られて血を流し涙を流す様子が描かれていたが「飼猫」では殴られた描写は無いが同じく頭から血を流しているも狂気的に笑うだけで嫌がっていない様子で慣れていることに分かる事

リズム感とか最高だし時々愛猫とかBe愛とかが入って愛猫のビアンカちゃんとの繋がりを表してくるの男の子側の気持ちとか執着が感じられてめっちゃ好きです。
個人的にはLoveit?のマイアちゃんやクジマはLove eatが出た事で完全に上下関係がひっくり返された感じだけど、
今回は飼猫を聞いた上でネイロがビアンカの下にいる事を望み続けてると思ってます。
ネイロの浮気癖は多分元々あるもので、ビアンカちゃんが怒ってくれる事に段々注目してくれる喜びを覚えるようになって本当に好きなのはずっとビアンカちゃんだけど自分を見て欲しくて浮気を続けてる、けどクジマとは違ってもしかしたら今度は捨てられるかもしれないって不安を覚えながらやってる……っていう解釈をしました！
完全にマイアちゃんを掌で転がしてたクジマとは違って自分自信ビアンカちゃんが好きで好きで堪らなくてだけどその分不安も大きいから気を引く好意を辞められない、
その結果ビアンカちゃんからの愛(極度の束縛、暴力行為)がたっぷり注がれるようになってお互いにズブズブになっていく。。。最高ですね。
あとは完全に妄想なんですけどクジマもネイロも行為の時はMというか下に引かれる感じなんじゃないかなって思うんですよね。Love itでマイアちゃんは君(クジマ)を喰うって歌詞があったし、愛猫の1番の最後で事後のイラストがあったけどネイロは服着てなくて疲れきった感じだったけどビアンカちゃんは服着てたから。

see: the beginning part in english - wow! he has such a positive view of her! ...do you know what trauma bonding is? basically, the abuser will put the victim in a cycle of abuse where they'll abuse the victim then become very loving (positive reinforcement). and that... is very clearly seen in the first song (explained later). that makes the victim become very attached to the abuser and they see them in a very positive light, basically blinding themself.
see: "i want love so bad, i could cry my throat out"/"love's making my throat dry" - he's desperate to feel loved ; in a healthy relationship, he would already feel loved and wouldn't feel so desperate and pleading for love throughout the entire song ("i want you to love me, please"). this could sound like "love" is a euphemism for intimacy, but that's not how it's used as in "love cat" where it still literally means love and in the original song such as in the bridge where bianca is repeatedly singing "fall in love", again using the actual meaning of love. he's also said of not knowing the "meaning of love" in the original song which would mean... the literal meaning of love. so it's not a euphemism - he literally wants to be loved, to feel loved, but the way their relationship is he feels desperate for it.
see: "here is a dependence and love you can't escape"/"this inescapable dependency 'be' love" - again, he's dependent on her ! this is not something in a healthy relationship ! dependency like this is a characteristic sign of an abusive relationship.
see: "love so dazzling it hurts"/"a love that dazzles so much it hurts" - love bombing? in love bombing, the abuser will "bomb" the victim with excessive displays of affection and *love* ... with the intent to manipulate them. dazzling could mean that the love is very extreme and even overwhelming, which would fit with love bombing.
see: "it's like a monster cat of love"/"it's like a bakeneko of love" - okay i'm 100% sure my translation is the correct one here because "bakeneko" is used which is a specific supernatural entity in japanese folklore. baaaaasically it has a lot of things associated with it but a notable one is that it can shapeshift into humans/speak human words ? so... either this is about him or her being like this monster thing. the line before it is "a love that dazzles so much it hurts" which makes me think it's about her, like how she has two sides to her. that's established though ...and that's also a characteristic of abuse, where the abuser can be really sweet but also really "evil" - and that's how bianca is to neiro.

I actually cannot tell if this guy is self aware and "mastermind"-ish at all or if hes just off the coattails of the original song and is just reflecting his "hypnotized" nature of buying into Bianca's love. Its sadder if is the latter because I was humoring the idea that these two may funnily have a better relationship than the Loveat duo since its more "honest and reciprocated." But if the implication is that this song is a product of Love Cat's guy just giving in and his perception being irreversibly distorted...oh well!!!!!!!!!

I think he genuinely doesn't enjoy pain by the way he reacts in love cat but he's still deeply in love with Bianca and she makes him feel more and more stuck in a cage with him unable to escape so he just gives up and stops cheating or trying to escape and becomes a "obedient cat".
Imo cheating on Bianca just to make her "beat him" doesn't make sense he could have just like asked her if he wanted to be beaten. 😭

I believe the reason why he may have cheated in order to get Bianca to beat him, is that in LoveCat, Bianca seems less interested in the well being of Neuro but rather how she can "punish" him or whatever. She seems to get bored more easily than Neiro and thus, Neiro not wanting to let go, constantly puts himself in such situations to get beaten by her. It reminds me of the song by sodikken "Hansel" honestly. I'm not sure though@@batrex_

Going back between the two songs it's very clear this is totally Stockholm syndrome. I love seeing the little lyrical references between the songs that tie it all up in a neat bow.
Just how much he has fallen into Bianca's conditioning becomes obvious and the several references of him being trapped and becoming used to her patterns of abuse and love making (probably during or after) is just amazing to see in one song. Such a dark story yet such catchy songs, I loveit! (Haha)

It's also fascinating to see that the first song we got wasn't from the villain's point of view- If anything, I'd say this guy's the villain. He clearly doesn't care about Bianca's feelings, he's just in it for the high. Cheating on her was fun, getting caught was fun, seeing her flip out and try to keep him? Extra fun.
Bianca ultimately succeeded in making him hers and hers alone, but he's the true victor.
Tbh I think they both won. I don’t think Bianca genuinely cares about him either, she didn’t even seem that mad when he cheated on her in LoveCat. She just likes keeping him on a collar and I’d even argue punishing him is just as fun for her. She knows she can do anything to him and he’ll always crawl back to her.

In the Love Cat MV Nero looks rightfully very distressed and afraid of Bianca. Very pitiful but i feel like here that perspective changes.
Bianca is obviously very abusive and controlling. In fact, i would even go as far as to say she was likely abusive even before his cheating occurred. She seems very much like the obsessive and co-dependant type (which would naturally make for a toxic relationship) but I feel like this MV shows it's not entirely onesided.
Nero is still obviously a victim of (domestic) abuse but the way it's framed here almost makes it seem like her purposely went out of his way to cheat so that she would punish him.
After watching this a few several times I realize that it's likely that he equates love with abuse. And this also makes me rethink the scene in Love Cat at timestamp 1:24.
In that scene I merely thought he was resentful (again, rightfully so) for being abused by Bianca but if he doesn't see Bianca's abuse as abuse then whose to say that him trying to choke her was the same as how a cat often tries to play fight with you or cling to you?
I feel like he might have been this way even before Bianca and him were s thing so perhaps that's why he's so attatched to her. Bianca is clearly an abusive woman but if he sees abuse as love and wants to be loved it's easy to see why he would be co-dependant.
I feel like what's interesting about Bianca's and Nero's relationship is that it's not really quite played straight. It's clear Bianca is abusive and the relationship is toxic but I personally feel it's also kind of confusing because Nero isn't really the perfect victim.
For instance here he really does feel manipulative as much as he is a victim. At least when putting into context both Love Cat and this MV. It's like how a cat knows that so long as they look cute their owner will almost always act accordingly.
I'm more than sure that Nero knew that if Bianca caught him cheating she would abuse him. Which ultimately seems like what he wanted anyways. And that way it's like, in the Love Cat MV it felt as though Bianca was in control but here it feels like she never really was in control in the same sense if it makes sense.
Which in my opinion suits the predator x predator dynamic i saw in the MV. Though originally i saw it more as a predator (Bianca) cornering another Predatoe (Neiro) but now it's less like that and more equal somehow?
TLDR: I feel like Neiro equates love with abuse which would explain the lyrics here and the overall vibe of co-dependancy here. He probably went out of his way to cheat on Bianca knowing he would be abused because of this.

My genuine theory is that he DOES NOT like this at all.
I think that this is a Stockholm syndrome type thing and a reaction to sexual assault/abuse. Especially since he was trying to run away and said to be scared to return in LOVE CAT. As well as that he was stated to be "manic" and he also tried to choke her in the music video. As well as try and escape the beating she gave him in the beginning. You can only stay sane after so much. He didn't cheat to get beat by her cause he liked it, he cheated to try and escape, or distract himself. He is a victim, and you cannot say he isn't. He was beat into submission and taught that that is how love is and should be.
Oh and another helping factor to my theory is the line at 1:24, when it is said that the more you spoil them the more blind they become. Which implies that with the beatings she'd spoil him, which made him feel like a "good kitty" whenever he listened to her, blinding him to her abuse. We can also see him scared and not liking the treatment at 1:29 when he says he is unable to escape now. Like he's trapped... that remind you of a certain syndrome?
Same thing with how I feel about the boy from love eat. I highly doubt either of them were in good states of mind considering how their lovers are. I think that for both of them they were taught that the way they are being treated is what LOVE IS. But we know it's not. I feel like the two boys in this "love ___" series are just abused mentally/physically and sexually, making the way they are. I in all honesty don't believe the boy that was with Maia really wanted to be with her in hell.
The thing I like about this album if we use this point of view is that it shows us how us women can be abusers too, and that women aren't just victims in abuse. It makes us realize we are both abusers and victims as is anyone. It isn't gender that defines our personality or the actions we do.
It also shows us how bad and fucked up relationships can be, and how genuinely hard they are to escape once you've been manipulated into thinking that this is good, and how love should be. It makes me feel sick in the stomach while enjoying the music something so rare that the only ever song/album able to make me feel this way too are Kikou's, especially gomenne.
Anyways, I love this song, good job Biz.
