When the light of the Bible was almost extinguished by the counterreformation, God raised up a lesser light to rekindle the Greater Light of God’s Word so that the world could once again be filled with its glory.
For more than 70 years God used Ellen G. White to bring messages of hope and encouragement, as well as correction and reproof. At the age of 87 she fell and broke her hip. Now her long and fruitful life was nearing its close.
On one particular Sabbath in 1915, not long before her death, Ellen listened in silence as her family and some friends sang around her bedside. Someone began to sing “There’s a land that is fairer than day”. As others picked up the words, they noticed that Mrs. White was also trying to join them. In her weak, trembling voice they heard her sing in little more than a whisper, “We shall sing on that beautiful shore the melodious songs of the blessed, and our spirits shall sorrow no more, not a sigh for the blessing of rest”. - Adapted from Temperance and Gospel Songs, J.E. When she breathed her last, W.C. White wrote of the experience:
“It was like the burning out of a candle, so quiet”.

its true, there are so many criticism regarding EGW. One of my closest friend also mentioned to me that the reason she does not pay attention to the sabbath teaching is because of her writings. So I asked her if she ever read any of her writings, she said no. That challenged me to read her writings. I started with "the great controvercy". after that I no longer listen to critics. I am so glad I watched this video, cause now and then I would wonder about those critics who claimed EGWs writings were plagarized. This laid it to rest, because I absolutely trust Walter and his du Plessis!!

Nevermind I figured it out hahah. I thought Ellen was going against Peter's vision, but nahh I'm just a dumby hahaha
Truth and the hidden things are taught by the Holy Spirit of YHWH. I have seen today, startling contradictions from Ellen G White, as an Adventist, I have to think of what I joined into. I didn't know much about Ellen G White before I was baptized, I only read 4 of her books of which I have not completed 2. I serve YHWH, Not Religion!

@@jaidynp7368 Yep, some have also found "startling contradictions" in the Bible. They dont know GOD and His word, , thus they do not know GODS prophets.
