Nowadays, with the great film simulation of the Fuji cameras, i shoot JPEG and only adjust exposure, contrast, noise reduction when needed and rarely crop, for example in close-ups. When i started with a DSLR, i shot always in RAW and edited more.
Yes with DSLRs I’d say it was almost compulsory to shot and edit the RAW files, but if you use a mirrorless yeah you can avoid it. The Fujis I believe are something else, because their JPEGs, if you can find the perfect balance and mood for every situation can turn out to be even better than a RAW. That’s what makes them special, and in fact I’m planning a video entire about this special thing about the Fujis, because on this side they’re almost unique.
