Thanks for your great review 🎉❤
Thanks to you for watching!
Hey mate, did u pay any tax when buying it in the EU?
Actually yes, consider that I paid the lens in pounds (£) just because it was not already available in euros, so I don’t know whether this influenced the final price (I believed it didn’t anyway). Apart from this, the taxes should change according to the country.
Good video bro. Just an fyi for USD we put the $ symbol before the amount. So it would be $50 lens not 50$ lens. Just mentioning it as it may confuse people
Thanks for noticing it and for commenting, I’ve corrected the title!
you should've shown at least some pictures taken with it bro, and btw LTT checked it out in their latest vid and didn't like it
That’s a thing which would’ve made the video a bit better, so I added a google drive folder with some of the first photos anyway. I’ve just even checked out the LTT video… yes obviously it’s not a lens from which you can expect much, but I’ll talk about it better in the review
@@simone_bortolotti image quality sucks def not worth it
@mehmetkaanyildiz18 remember that it's a lens from a disposable camera, so the quality obviously can't be exceptional. And I'd say that this lens should be chosen for its "vintage" style rather than for the pure image quality
$20 on aliexpress and it looks like an oreo
It’s looks pretty strange as a lens yes ahaha

u can also make them urself which is a very fun process (I tried it myself)
Yep I've seen a few videos about it, was it difficult for you to do it? Apart from this, I'd say that even the Pocket Dispo for around 50$ seems to be a good option
brother you are lost how are you gonna post an entire 5 fucking minute review/"check this out" video on a lens and now show us a single fucking picture you took with it what a waste of time
This was meant to be only an unboxing (as said at the start of the video). Anyway, you can find in the description a folder with some of the first shots.
Would you please tell us something about the versions of this product. There's a Tackpad 2 but you can find ,if you google it, some Trackpads 3. Are they real or just cli baits? If they do exists, Could you inform about the differences? Thanks in advance.
Hi, good question. As far as I know, my version of trackpad is the 3rd gen, so the most updated one from Apple. I even checked a bit on various websites and honestly it seems that there aren't many differences between the Trackpad 2 and 3, but just some little new improvements. Theoretically the most common resellers have the 3 now, considering that the 2 is from 2015 if I'm not wrong. A thing to understand whether is the 2 or 3, on the black version, is by looking at the side of it, since in the 3 is silver while in the 2 is totally black. Let me know if you need any more information!
Great video

@@mariangroeneveld7401 thanks to you for the comment, and I’m glad this video was helpful!
Its funny to see that there are no real alternatives to the apple trackpad n the market. Not even Logitec has something, my fav brand. I am looking for something like the trackpad but a bit more affordable, also maybe something with different designs
Yes you're right! It's really unusual that there are no competitors for this product, as you said, even Logitech is used to make some really nice products but in this case they don't make a trackpad. For the price, that's quite high, but maybe you can find some discounts (for example on Amazon), and about the design, honestly, I'd say that this one is already pretty cool and clean.
Seenda and ProtoArc have trackpads - they also make ergonomic mice and keyboards. If you’re in the US they’re affordable. Outside of the US they’re as expensive as Apple Trackpad.

Its a bokeh stabilizer monster lens
Yeah the stabilisation works pretty well, and the F4.0 does a good work for the bokeh. Personally I wouldn’t consider it a “monster” because I would have preferred a bit more on the diaphragm, I mean the F4 is great, but a F2.8 for example would have been even better!

I wonder if you can replace keyboard with Trackpad? If you can use ipad to work as a keyboard to do the typing work?
Pretty interesting questions! About the first one, the trackpad can’t have any “keyboard” feature as far as I believe. For using the iPad as a keyboard, I need to look a bit because there isn’t any official feature (at least I’ve never found anything) but I will see if there’s maybe a third party app, that would be pretty great to have.
Thank you for the review! Really helpfull
Thanks to your for leaving a comment and for the support! If you want, feel completely free to subscribe at my channel!
I ordered this lens and honestly in the long end it is soft. I have a 18-135 which is a lot better than this one. I have done tests shooting with both lenses and the latter is better. But then nothing beats the 18-55 2.8-4.0 kit lens I love this lens and it is used frequently.
Good point to notice, even in my case I've tried another 16-80mm (same lens but less used), and the difference is pretty importante once you start using this lens a lot, it gets quite soft. About the 18-55, honestly I've never tried it, but I believe that for the focal length the 16-80 is better, just because it gives that little "plus" from a 55 to an 80.
With BetterTouch Tool, you will take your Apple Magic Trackpad usage to an unimaginable level. You will get no less than 20 shortcuts in the places you choose. Karabiner app can also do other things with Magic Trackpad, but using modifier keys. The idea is that anyone who uses Magic Trackpad and has in mind to increase its productivity level can do so using third-party apps. It is an experience that gave me a huge shift in work.
@faris-harram thanks for the suggestion, I’ll give a look into them, they seem pretty interesting!
I appreciate the English review. Thank you.
@@danklunis9208 all thanks to you for watching!
Bought it yesterday and I really like it. The multitouch is very librating and natural than the mouse. Bought the Magic Mouse and returned it because it sucks mostly because of the ergonomics and how small it is. in my opinion the Magic Trackpad size is perfect and its weight makes it sits securely wherever you put it. Also the surface texture is not "glassy" like the laptop which is a plus!
I'm glad you're having a good experience with it! Yep I know that the Magic Mouse isn't great for he ergonomics, even though I haven't tried it, in fact that's a point that makes the trackpad more "universal" and perfect for most of the people. Did you get it in the white or black version?
@@simone_bortolotti The white one.
@ashenone5774 good choice, the white one is usually even cheaper than the black version, even tough they’re the same
@@simone_bortolotti yes it is cheaper but price was not a factor. I picked white because it matches my desk more haha.
@ashenone5774 yeah that’s obviously the usual reason ahaha, even in my case I got the black one since it matched more as a color

I’ve used peak design since v1. It has been revolutionary indeed! It has removed annoyances I thought I didn’t have!
Yep that’s a great concept for a product, really really useful! Recently I’ve been using it a little less just for the weight of my camera, but still sometimes it’s the perfect way to carry it.
Cool, I’m doing nature photography with my my phone, so found this helpful! Thanks
Thanks to you for watching the video, glad you found it helpful! Which kind of nature photography shots do you take?
Not good for pro motion, polling rate only 90Hz
Yep good point to notice, in my case I have a MacBook Air so I cannot verify it, but I didn't know about this "issue" on the new Pro models...
What is recommended for promotion?

@etroverde7555 @sebastianestrada1311 the mx master mouse can be the solution, it’s made for a professional use mostly so makes sense (I’ve been using the first version for a while and tried the third gen, so I know it a bit)

@@simone_bortolotti keep it up
I would recommend buyers purchase this lens used, i always see them almost 60-70% off from sellers in great condition
Good point, personally I believe that, for new Fuji users or people that are just switching camera, it makes lots of sense to buy it in the kit, considering that it has a pretty lower price than the stand-alone option. Apart from the kit, obviously the price for a new lens it's not low, but maybe already with some discounts on Amazon or other websites it can start to have an appealing price. About buying an used it all depends on the comparison with the other options (about a new lens) that people find, but, if the condition of the lens is nice and the price too, it all makes a pretty huge sense, especially if maybe someone wants it only as an all-around camera lens for some more "general" situations, in which they want something that does almost a great work in every condition. Thanks for writing about this option!
Thank you for the informative and high quality video. I use the 16-80 with my XT5 and I will be visiting the dolomites this summer. Your astroshots with this lense are so good, that I will be leaving my Samyang 12mm at home to spare some weight on my multiday hike :D Can you tell me the Metadata of those shots? :) Greetings from Germany
Thanks for the comment Jan, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Oh the Dolomites are definitely a great chance for some cool photos, and with your XT5 you can do everything. In fact I took those few astroshots right there last summer, consider that they’re for sure not perfect since that, for example, I haven’t spent much time on the edits. For the precise metadata of the photos I’ll come back to you as soon as possible! And about the lenses, in my opinion you should evaluate to bring even the Samyang 12mm (if I’m not wrong that’s the F2.0, right?), firstly for the better aperture but even for the wider focal length, a 12mm in some cases can be useful!
@@simone_bortolotti I am considering it but since I am going from refugio to refugio and hiking > 16km a day with > 700 m of elevation every day, every gramm counts! The Samyang is F 2.0 and has a great focal length for astro but I wouldnt use it for anything else. I saw on another video of yours that you took another cool nightshot with the 16-80 with ISO 3200 Shutterspeed of 25 Seconds and F4 so i guess it should be the similar to that.
Hi Jan! Sorry for the late reply... anyway, I've checked the metadata of all the night shots and here they are: - 1st photo 16mm, 40s, f4, ISO 8000; - 2nd photo (left) 16mm, 30s, f4, ISO 8000 - 3rd photo (right) 16mm, 25s, f4, ISO 6400 - 4th photo (star-trail) 16mm, 4 mins, f4, ISO 1000. In general with your camera, almost the same as mine, you can really do lots of things! The trip you're going to do seems to be just amazing, I'd like to do something similar to it one day! For the Samyang lens I completely see your point, since yeah having unuseful stuff isn't the best thing in hiking, but I believe that, considering its size/weight, it would make sense to have it anyway, despite maybe you'd use it only for few shots.
@@simone_bortolotti Thanks for the detailed answer to my question! I still have some time left to consider But i have to up my fitness first before thinking about more gear :D

the real beast of the video 😎
The fuji is a very performance camera but what if you compare it to an action cam like the new DJI Osmo 4 in a next video? i think that it’s not an action cam as the other, it has something more
Thanks for leaving a comment! Yes that would be very interesting, because for sure the level of the “action cams” increased a lot in the last years, I’ve heard that even the newer DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is pretty good, but unfortunately at the moment I don’t have neither the Osmo 4 and the Pocket 3… But I’d say that’s a great idea for the future, once I’ll have the chance to work on it! Thank you again for the idea and support!
Cool vibes! Thanks for the video! I wish the PD Tech Pouch had 2 zipper pulls, otherwise it’s perfect. I added the Alpaka Pro Strap which is a lovely smooth seat belt material and it works so good as a sling now.
First of all, thank you for leaving a comment! Now that I think about it, yes you're completely right, having 2 zipper pulls would be a good step up! Maybe PD haven't added the second one to improve the resistance to water or dust, that can be a possible reason... I've just checked out the Strap you talked about and it looks great, that combo of the pouch + strap really do makes sense for carrying it! Thanks again for the support here 🚀
Great video! But don't you find it easier to apply the Rule of Thirds when shooting in landscape, as opposed to portrait as we see here?
First thing, thanks for commenting! About the uses of the Rule of Thirds, yes it does make more sense to apply it with landscapes, maybe rather than a portrait, but it's something subjective from my point of view. For some people it may be unuseful, for other essential, considering that, apart from portraits and landscape, you have lots of other things like architecture, street photography, sports, and more!
for a few more dollars, i'd get the pd. the all metal build gives me a peace of mind
Yes yes that's a good point, for sure metal, in most of the cases, is more reliable than plastic, even tough in this case the quality is pretty high!
I wonder why RUclips doesn't give the right value to people who work hours for each video and then get thousands of views from people who repost the same video as someone else. the algorithm is so inefficient. good luck for the next one
Thank you for the support, it's great to hear this!
can't even catch the part where u talk about the right and left click, and also the feel of clicking
first of all, the part about the right and left click is in the section of the Gestures. In fact, there’s the full list of the gestures, which contains the left click (so the main one, which is just a single tap or click) then the right click (so the secondary one, which is a tap or click with two fingers). Sorry for not talking much about those two but considering that there are plenty of gestures, I’ve decided to insert the full list so that you can see all of them. About instead the feel of clicking, that’s pretty good, nothing to complain about it. One other thing about it is that there’s even the “Silent Mode” for the click, so that you don’t hear much noise once you click on the surface of the trackpad. If you want to know something more, just let me know!
Let me know here in the comments if you have any question!
Hey Simone, thanks for the video. The trackpad is a bit bigger than one MacBook Air M2 (2022), right? Do you know how long it last on a charge? Also, if I move my laptop away from my desk, my standard trackpad (which is part of my Mac), will function well, right? I mean, I plan to use the trackpad only on my work desk, but not other rooms of the house. Does the black version attract fingerprints? Right now my laptop is grey and almost no fingerprints are visible. Thanks!
Hi, thanks for commenting! Let me answer all the questions: about the size, yes the trackpad is a bit bigger than the one on the MacBook Air M2 2022 (I have the Air M1 but it's almost the same as the M2), but consider that you're definitely going to notice this difference. For the battery life I cannot give you a precise information, just because I don't use it for the same amount of time every day, it depends on the tasks I have to do. But, apart from this, trust me that it lasts a lot, you'd have no problems on this side in my opinion (I'd say easily some weeks with an important usage). Yes if you move your MacBook you can just use the built-in trackpad with no problems. Consider that, while the external trackpad is connected, you can decide to use both the external one or the built-in, just touch it and you're ready to go! (without any connection-time) For the fingerprints, actually no it doesn't attract them. I've seen that, after some time, it obviously gets a little but dirty for all the times that you touch and move your fingers on the surface, but that's normal throughout the time. But no, if you just put the finger on it, you'll not see the huge and clear fingerprint ahaha, that would be pretty annoying! I hope that I've been clear and let me know if you have any other question, I'll reply to you as soon as possible!
