Nothing can be 110% recycled.
Hydrogen? Carbon? 🤔
@@jamess1787 can't get higher than 100%
You can if say 1.1kg of recycled product is required for a 1kg final product.
Look at a pepperami packet, 104% meat
Taco Bell
Thanks for not using a midroll ad there, it allows me to stay focused throughout the clip.
Got a new meter installed friday and was tempted to look under the cover to see what components are inside
but will probably trigger something if removing cover, but not sure really.
Maybe you could showcase a typical meter you have over there and look inside.
BigClive has dismantled smart meter ruclips.net/video/G32NYQpvy8Q/видео.html
See a pretty clever meter bypass the other day dno tails into a henley to a consumer unit with a few circuit's on then from henleys into meter out from meter to another consumer unit doing a few circuit's

Great news weekly as always Joe

No sir. That thing in my backyard is a decorative metal tree. It is not an isolated electrode that allows me to leach power for free of the neutral wire.
Coal ash is normally mixed with concrete, to add bulk, and provide a lighter concrete, with little change in properties. Also blended with cement as a filler, which then forms the basis of the popular concrete block building brick. The ash makes it lighter and lower cost.
Meter tampering is very common, though of course there is also by me the outright theft, no meter at all, just tie into the street lighting circuit, or direct into the cables, either at the primary or the secondary of the transformer. Also you see plenty of SWER supplies like that, using stolen phone wires, repurposed for this use. Lights go dim just toss water from the bucket on the earth electrode, made from a piece of steel rod, and they are bright again.
I would advise NO ONE to consider a career in Heat Pump installation. Former government energy advisor, Clive Moffatt's revelation that (according to his sources in National Grid and Ofgem), the cost of "just upgrading the grid infrastructure" to support the switch from Natural Gas to Heat Pumps is expected to cost upwards of £3 trillion, leaves the entire technology, completely and utterly "dead in the water". What's more, last weeks comments on energy supply by Gary Smith of the GMB union (on BBC Radio 4) came as a seriously unwelcome confirmation of Moffatt's assertions.
As of today - the UK is once again using coal to cover the energy deficit (as well as importing power from Europe at over £1000 per MW) - that's how bad things are. My own guess is that both Ofgem and the Grid will force the government's hand on on this issue within twelve months (they have the power to do so) - and so anyone who's invested in a Heat Pump will be lumbered with completely obsolete equipment as the multitude of suppliers are forced to withdraw from the market.
Interesting, so you’re saying the electrical energy required to drive a heat pump system, rather that heating by gas will force expansion of the grid. That goes without saying, you don’t get ‘owt for n’owt. However, the government seem very excited to encourage electric cars and surely direct electric heating will increase load demand. Doesn’t the heat pump approach give a more efficient output compared to direct electric heating ? Honest question, not poking the bear 🙂. I listen to physics, not politics.
@@MikeSmith-tx2lp When it comes to heating our homes, heat-pumps are demonstrably more efficient than gas boilers. However, that assumes both generating and network capacity - and it's here where the wheels come off the wagon. If you look at Finland; 1 million of that nation's 2.7 million (super insulated) homes have now switched from natural gas to air-source heat-pumps, and this has seen an increase in grid demand of almost 3GW during the winter months (demand which is currently being met by imports).
To put that into perspective, the Hornsea 1 and 2 offshore wind-farms produces 1.2GW and 1.32GW respectively. So the entire (peak) output of Europe's largest offshore wind-farm would be unable to cover the energy demands of just one million heat pumps - and we have 24 million gas boilers to replace.
Of course, that doesn't even cover the costs involved with having to upgrade every mile of overhead line and every mile of buried cable, as well as us having to replace some 55,000 transformers and substations, with over 1,500 being inside the M25 alone. And let's not discuss how many thousands of properties (inside the M25) will need be demolished to allow for this.
Right now, the UK govt, our entire civil service and all opposition parties - are living in complete la la land! Bizarrely, the only person who DOES grasp the severity is Boris, and ONLY because the engineers at Sizewell explained the gravity of the situation to him, during the last week of his premiership (when he visited the site) - and while there were no advisors or civil servants to intervene!
Thankfully Ofgem and National Grid have the power and (absolutely) will use it to enforce common sense, before the entire energy grid in the UK collapses.
@@skfalpink123 Thank you for elaborating Alexander, that is a very interesting puzzle. Add in the EV stuff and it becomes a mess. When I was an engineering student in the early eighties, I could never understand why there was no investment in nuclear energy. This windmill and sunshine stuff is really not going to help, other than to line the pockets of the friends of ministers.

Heat pump apprenticeship, may as well start early, in another race to the bottom 😂
4 out of 10 were asked but how many did it.
But what is an electrician?!
I know people who only have their level 2 and they call themselves electricians
I know people with their level 2 and 18th edition call themselves electricians
I know people with their level 2 and 3 call themselves electricians
I know people with their level 2 and 3 and 17th and 18th edition call themselves electricians
Probably none, what’s the point in doing it for a random customer you don’t know to risk getting in trouble for
@@VictorVonDoom. i know gold cards holders, who call themselves electricians! I had a subbie with an electrical labourer card, who i would of called an electrician.
I had an approved electrician ask why a star connected motor doesn't trip the breaker, cause the phases are shorted 😭
@@VictorVonDoom. What's an electrician..? A sparky, of course 🤣
Heat pumps are very expensive as it uses a lot more electricity and energy to get the same heating unless you change the Whole central heating system with preferably underfloor heating you will be in for a shock
Hi Joe another good one........
Here in the USA, Old "Analog" meters, could be turned Upside down, & ran "BACKWARDS", shown to me , as a "Apprentice" Sparky, when 17, on Trade training, My Boss was a convicted Felon, knew all the "TRICKS".
When the profits of utility companies is measured in billions, the existence of the phrase energy poverty is perverse.
But don't steal from them even though the taxpayer is subsidising them. That would be theft.

Having been vocal against my supplier for their excessive rates and sustained ignorance of the obligations of the Equality Act - Plus the fact my meter's outside of the home & accessible to anyone - I've taken to photographing/videoing my meter whenever I read it. 📷
Not only does this mean I have evidence that no tampering has taken place if they were ever to accuse me of it (All seals can be seen intact) but it also means I can evidence any tampering made on _their_ part e.g. by fitting a smart meter without my express consent. 👍
Of course: If the present mode of charging for energy supply wasn't _„Calculate what they're actually using, then multiply that figure by 20 for our shareholders“_ then I wouldn't be finding myself *forced* to keep my energy usage below 700w/day in my all-electric home... ♿💸🏚🤢
