Mistake 1. Don't over do it, sometimes a straight or wide leg fit is enough, as long there's no gap on your leg when you standing straight is fine, just go with baggy or balloon fit when straight or wide leg fit just don't give enough volume
High tops with thinner sole (jordan flights) get some balloon pants with draw strings at the bottom, draw the strings and tuck the excess into your sock but let the pants hide your sock and rest behind the shoe's tongue. High top shoe with thick sole (jordan 4s) balloon pants, don't draw the strings in, depending on the tongue shape you can put the pants over the tongue or behind it. That's what I've tested with High tops. Compression top with an interesting belt buckle (but not LV or gucci "look at me" belts) is also a good combo with baggy pants

also, pls guys, accessories can save a boring/bad baggy fit. a lot of men getting into fashion dont realise how important accessories are and just tend to go for baggy fits with 0 drip and call themselves a fashion guy. wear what you want, but personalising your outfit and making it look more cohesive or 'character-like' with a more specific aesthetic than just 'baggy' goes a looong way.
If you want my advice, just scrap the whole baggy trousers thing and wear either sport joggers or cargos. That works well for most people 👍 Edit: if you are wanting to buy sports joggers, I have to recommend the Inter Miami Joggers. They look incredible! Or maybe the new Chelsea ones with the gold.
