everything on the records are way too overproduced, striped down just playing they are at their best. maybe oneday they will make an album without all the studio added stuff

From what I've heard they rolled with that moniker for unity, the band name is a singular entity. It could have been "Czech the man" or whatever. I think they chose Portugal since it's a highly underrated central figure in Europe.
