- We recently visited Universal Studios Orlando and I was excited to check out the newest addition to the park - Minion Land! I have long been a fan of the Minions, the banana-loving stars of the Despicable Me film franchise. In this video, we will share with you our experience at the new land including the rides, the merchandise, the food and the theming. Join us as we spend the morning getting a little bit vicious!

This is so cute - I just love the Minions! I don’t like having to stand on a ride - my feet hurt enough! The interaction is fun but not the standing. 😂 The line is usually short, thank goodness! I love the Minion Café and bakery and the Minion merch. I love fluffy the unicorn!🦄

Sorry I'm late! We had an insanely busy week, leading up to....well, going to Clearwater and then to Orlando to visit Universal. I absolutely LOVE Minion Land. I just love the Minions.
Bake My Day is a nice addition. We love the banana popcorn and the popsicles. Minions Cafe is our favorite restaurant in all of Universal, though. I love the food there.
We've tried the salmon plate the first time we went. We always get the pork belly sandwich, but I don't recall ever getting banana chips. That must be new. I will likely get that when we go on Monday and Tuesday.
It's unfortunate that the Minion ride gives you motion sickness. It's not my favorite ride, bit still fun.

Minions Cafe is the bomb!! Love the chicken and the Swiss roll... so yummy!!
It WAS really good! We were expecting theme park food aimed at kids. But it was a really good meal. We didn't try the Swiss roll - I wish we had. Thanks for watching!

It has been a while since I have been to Universal Studios Florida. I have not been to Minion Land at this time. Great views of the shops, restaurant, theming and information about the ride. Thank you for the great views and your experiences. Enjoy the week.
This new area looks SO cute, we haven't seen it yet. The moving walkway idea for a 'ride' sounds cool but I do love a seat to relax. Such cute merch too! And the food looks adorable. (Although we did love Monsters Cafe.). We loved the Minion ride they had, so we'll have to try this next time we are there.
The new ride sounds really fun! Wake my day is so cute and yummy! I really wonder about the banana popcorn??? 🍿 Good to know that the food is worth it, not much at Universal excites us for food! I think you need littles to know what Gabbys dollhouse is, Tim Tracker knew all about it 😂!
Oh my ! Im 56 , but minions are my weakness . Its not yet there when we went to Florida …because that was so many years ago ! Interesting interactive shootings ! Of course there are so pretty and fun souvenirs . In Singapore, i bought lots of minion merchandise, which up to now, i am still using ! Oh my , those minions bakeshop ! Wow ! Would love to visit again . Liked 19, watched and subscribed! Banana -flavored popcorn , and the minions cafe !
We were just in Universal in CA. Didn’t realize there is a Minion land. In CA we went to Nintendo World. Rosalie and Addison loves Minions. The only thing to make it better if you both had matching minion outfits - your could even blur your faces to keep the faceless theme going.
This looks really fun. We love being competitive also. The food is too pretty yo eat.
That sounds really fun! We love Toy Story Mania... we really have to check out Universal soon... our son is getting a big older and I think he would be ready for the rides they offer.. it sounds like Universal just keeps growing... ooohh the bakery goods look awesome!
I think there are definitely a good number of rides your son would enjoy. Universal has really been doing a great job of creating cool new rides and lands. I used to enjoy Disney parks much more than Universal parks- but Universal has been growing on me in recent years. We look forward to seeing videos of y’all at Universal some day. Still haven't been able to experience the Villain Con experience, it closed while we were in line:/
We just went there about a week ago, we ate there as well, it had some interesting food, what yall ate looked pretty good, I really enjoyed the dessert the banana roll with that passion fruit banana was sooooooo good :) lol
This makes me want to head back to Universal Orlando as soon as possible. The ride looks great but the restaurant is something else. I don’t think I’ve ever seen blue rice before, did it taste odd?
I have learned that blue rice originated in Thailand and is cooked with an edible flower - butterfly pea flowers to be exact - to give it the blue color. I didn't really notice any taste from that. But this was blue coconut rice so there was a bit of coconut flavor to the otherwise normal tasting rice. But the color was very cool and the coconut gave the rice some nice flavor. The whole of Minion Land - including the food - seems to be well thought out. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
