What a juxtaposition. Beautiful. I have lived both sides. I now, in my twilight years, am living closer to the ideals of Wendell Berry, that ever before. After 40 years of rat race; where this year has to be better than last year (faster and more of it), and where next year has to be better than this year, I can now just decompress and enjoy all the free things that God puts right at our door step. A sign in my shop says, "The Woods Is Good For My Soul." And so it is.
