I have a jade and I need to encourage branches and growth on the left side of the tree. The right side is fine. The left side just has fewer branches. Any ideas? Beautiful tree

jades are great because they will tell you what they need without dying!
They don't need much light or watering, but their growth will vary.
their leaves will fall off without enough sun, and the leaves will look wrinkly if they need water.
I have a friend who keeps hers in a window, but I keep mine under a LED and over a heating pad. both are healthy, but mine grows much faster.

I use aluminum wire 1mm & 1.5mm generally and if branch is too thick I double the wire!

Yep. Bonsai usually have branch transition where it starts thick and goes thiner smoothly. But he has long and thin branches with no transition flow.
The start of every branch should be only a little thinner then the trunk
