The shot with the sunlight shining through the trees was so soothing. And it's good to know that the CDT is brutal with the thunderstorms on a daily basis. It feels like other vlogs I watched from it, many years ago, didn't show that (or maybe they got "better luck" with the weather)

Maybe they had better weather, but I think a lot of people feel the need to censor their experiences for the sake of entertainment.
