My fav cartoons in the 80's was "Był sobie...",known in Germany as "Es war ein mal..."
If you mean the anthology "Był sobie człowiek" (about human history), "Byli sobie odkrywcy" (about travellers and discoverers, "Byli sobie wynalazcy" (about inventors), "Było sobie życie" (about the human body) and "Był sobie kosmos" (about space exploration), then it wasn't a Polish cartoon. It was a French cartoon series created by Albert Barillé. The original title always starts with "Il était une fois…" ("Once upon a time…").

@@maciejgajoch1774 Nevertheless, I agree that it was a great series, I loved it as a kid, and still love it to this day. There's not many cartoons so educational and at the same time so entertaining these days.
I would add to this list "Ordy et Les Grandes Découvertes" ("Przygody Ordy" in Poland) - about a computer imp who schooled a pair of siblings about the greatest inventions in human history by taking them to those times and letting them see it all with their own eyes (of imagination).

The best production imo was "Koziołek Matołek". It had great drawing, dynamics, and sometimes did very drastic topics. Another worth to mention was "Pomysłowy Dobromir" - In an extremely interesting way, the cartoon presented the path from need to idea and finally to invention.

Achh, as a kid I loved Bolek and Lolek and other shows for kids. They're the opposite of the American cartoons where someone dies every 10 seconds. Here no one is ever mean. Bolek and Lolek are very curious, tolerant and open to others, same as Reksio and other characters from Polish cartoons.

I am greek, and I remember when I was a kid in the 90s and couldn't read yet, I always believed that Bolek & Lolek was american.
"Przygody Kota Filemona" was a cozy and idyllic show but at the same time some scenes felt so surreal

I always loved Pomysłowy Dobromir and Przygody Baltazara Gąbki. The first one is basically an inventor kid, the second one an adventure with the dragon of Wawel : )
Kot Filemon and Reksio was nice too- first one with a cat and the second with a dog depending on whether you are more of a cat person or dog person : )

I was born in 2008 but I watched some really old animations: Reksio, Pampalini łowca zwierząt, Bolek i Lolek, Miś Uszatek, Przygody kota Filemona and I think the oldest of them all Piesek w kratkę (1968-1972) and probably many others that I forgot.
Also Rumcajs and Pat & Mat but these are Czech (or rather Czechoslovakian)

Watch "how I unleashed world war two" (pol: "Jak rozpętałem drugą wojnę światową"). It should be on youtube, although I'm not sure of the quality of the subtitles. It's a Polish comedy, but has a lot of scenes where they are stereotyping Poles, Germans, Austrians, Brits and more. I think you will like it and you've already made a video regarding one of the scenes in the film.

"Miś Uszatek" wasn't a cartoon. It was stop-motion animation. Made with little figurines photographed countless numbers of times after making little changes to their poses.

This cartoon is probably 60 years old. Entire boomers generation in Poland grew up watching it. By the way I don't recall seeing any German children cartoons. Don't they make them?

Ja rowniez, z utesknienien czekalam na "DOBRANOCKE' z Bolkiem i Lolkiem ,ktora trwala zaledwie 10 minut.
Some shows others didn't mention but I enjoyed as a kid: Film pod strasznym tytułem (A Film With a Scary Title), Tajemnica szyfru Marabuta (The Secret of Marabou's Code) and the film Miki Mol i Straszne Płaszczydło (Miki Mol and the Scary Coatreature). I especially recommend the last one due to the very interesting art style, although the meaning of many things might get lost for you. For example, the names of the characters are difficult to translate, like the Płaszczydło from the title (it's a mixture of płaszcz - a coat and straszydło - a thing that scares)

@@darkdemon5865 oczywiście. Również Krecik jest z Czechosłowacji. Ale to były bardzo popularne bajki w Polsce. Wiele dzieci się na nich wychowało. Prezentowały zbliżone do polskiego poczucie humoru i estetykę.

"Pomysłowy Dobromir" basically a boy named Dobromir has to solve problems and when he has an idea- there is a light bulb turning on above his head.
"Dziwne przygody Koziołka Matołka" this one I didn't like- it is about a personified male goat and the motif of the show is "W Pacanowie kozy kują" (literally: "in Pacanów, blacksmiths forge"). "Kozy" is a different word for a "blacksmiths" and is the same word as for "goat"="koza", so the dummy goat thinks that in Pacanów he will get to have horseshoes on his hoofs ;)
"Przygody kota Filemona" oo this one is nice- there are 2 cats, one older and black and one a white kitten :D

It is just a funny cartoon for children. But the true is that bulls doesn't attack everything which is red. It is just a myth taken from Corrida. Bulls doesn't see the colours at all. They react on the movement of the cloth, not to the colour.😊

As for the real reason why bulls in Corrida attack that specific red flag: no, it's not because it's red, and no, it's not because of its movement - it's because they train the bulls behind the scenes to hate that particular flag, by doing all sorts of nasty things to them while holding this flag, in order to make an association in the bull's head that this object comes with no good :q Just like what Pavlov did with his dogs to associate a bell ring with food, in order to cause them slobber once they hear the ringing.
The cartoon is 40 years old. They didn't know it back then.
Weird was that at some time Germans thought there is smth inapropriate about the cartoon. Lolek checked trousers because he thought there might be some fly there. Around bulls and horses there can be blood sucking flies. When Lolek hugged for too long Bolek started laughing at Lolek that he is a baby. Normal manly reactions. I guess it is just that gays just want smth to be gay so badly they misread normal manly relations.

Piesek Leszek is not funny. It is basicly dogs being dogs with all wild and brutal stuff they do. Koń Rafał, Egzorcysta i Kapitan Bomba at least refer to human matters.
