Does it bother you when the zipper on a pouch doesn't open wide enough for you to easily find your items??
Hunny!...don't EVEN git me started! My pants even need a gator-mouth zipper, these days!
🤣
Yes it sure does!!
I can't wait to try this.! I love the techniques of hiding the seams.
Thanks so much. Have fun!

Such clever tips👌👍😊👏
Glad you like them!
I made this and it came out so cute. I’m planning to make another one with handles. I love how it rolls down for a wide opening. ❤
Wonderful! So glad you like it! I have a pet peeve about not being able to open up a pouch from the very edge!🤪
Love this idea, so tidy! Thanks for the detailed instruction on the two binding methods, I've wondered how to manage that neatly.
Your pattern weights look so handy. Off to see if there's a tutorial on how to make my own. :)
Glad it’s helpful. My weights are actually magnets. Please have a look at my Sewing hacks video.😊
@@annalockwood3021 yes Angela has done one👏😊🥰
I happened to notice it yesterday! Really neat
Your tutorials are EXCELLENT!!! 👍🥰 I've been sewing all my life yet have learned wonderful sewing tips from your videos in the recent years ... plus so many ideas for beautiful projects that are actually useful. I can appreciate all the little details that might take a little extra time but results in such professional quality. Thank you!! ❤
Thank you so much!
Lovely that you showed multiple binding options ❤❤
Regarding the binding pieces where you said to leave a little piece in the center when folding over, is this what you should do when making handles for items from the fabric?
Yes. Having that little bit of space makes it easier to fold .
@@NotchesSewing Thank you. I never left that space because I had no idea and now I realize why it would overlap too much. I appreciate your instructions!
Hi I like your tutorials and I want buy your pattern but I can’t access your web site
Thank you. What country are you watching from?
Hello again I'm from kuwait ❤
Hello from Australia😊 You can now access website. Cheers
Thank you so much your are very 😇 😊❤@NotchesSewing
I love this, but I would (personally) skip the binding and just have raw edges inside. That wouldn't bother me at all.
Thank you. You can totally do that but you may have a bit of fraying over time . You can also zig zag the edges, just add some fray check or use non fray fabric for binding. Thanks for watching😊
@@forprivacyreasonsimnottell9427 umm not nearly as neat though?!
Can i make this pouch with a regular zipper? If so, how long of a zipper should i use, and how should i sew it in? Cut off the zipper stop and pull it apart or? Thanks, im so gonna buy your pattern. I bought patterns for your kitchen towels, and im still using them. Your tutorials are ALWAYS so easy to follow. Thanks again Angela you rock in my book!!! Maria
Thank you Maria! Yes you can use a regular zipper but the slider will be smaller and not as easy to pull. Just use one that is at least 1.5" longer for ease.( don't use the end stops in the project) You don't need to cut it if you don't want to but make sure it isn't twisted when putting sides of pouch together. Clip everything in place and test zipper before sewing. Have fun!
Maria- maybe you could use a 4.5 handbag zipper… larger zipper teeth & zipper pull…
